Freezing bread is optional it helps the bread last longer. If you plan on eating all the bread in a small timespan (like making sandwiches for a potluck) then leave it at room temp.
Refrigerating eggs is a must afic. They will go rotten and get salmonella etc.
You dont eat freshly baked breed every day? It taste so much better.
But yeah i refrigerate my eggs. I recently was made known that our eggs last much longer then the prescribed 28 days it stands on the package. The EU demands them to be marked as such because eggs from other european countries could contain salmonella, but eggs in Norway dont and can be eaten even after 7 months or more. So i have started buying eggs in bulk instead. Is it like that in the US?
If you make the bread yourself you can freeze it and it wont lose much taste. Freezing bread that you buy in a bakery should not be frozen. It's mostly made at such a low cost effeciency that you cannot preserve it as long due to it's low quality.
t. daily bread eater
Yeah, I also put my eggs in teh fridge. I think Op had it backwards. I always thought euros leave their eggs out on the kitchen counter or someshit. Also our eggs are white and I recently learned that removes some sort of special coating on it. euros have brown i guess. >pic related
White-feathered chickens lay white eggs and red-feathered chickens lay brown eggs. Also, brown eggs are popular in certain parts of the US. It depends entirely on region. Have you ever left your house?
>there are actually people who don't freeze their bread
Are you an alien?
Why would I do that? To inconvenience myself every time I just wanna make a sandwich and the bread is frozen??
What is this meme? I always get a batch of about 30 eggs from our local chicken farmer, never put them in the fridge and I get maybe 1 or 2 rotten eggs every year.
Same with butter, recently had a friend of mine staying the night who threw away my fucking butter because it wasn't in the fridge "and probably rotten."
What the hell?
You live in some post apocalyptic wasteland where resources are scarce or something?
If ever I want bread, I just walk my ass to a store and buy some.
I think that alot of people don't consider that anglos don't have actual fucking bread, they have ''White Bread'' which has no fucking crusts, is soft as fuck, goes moldy/hard after being in the open for 5 minutes, melts like paper.
Get some actual bread anglos
Seems like a waste, can;t compare with soft warm fragrant piece of loaf just out of the stove with some frozen piece of shit. Guess it's not a big deal for you, but I love my fresh bread
As we don't wash our eggs with soapy water (just brush the dirt off) they still have a natural layer that prevents diffusion through the shell making them last much longer and you don't have to refrigerate them. There will probably be salmonella on the shells, but if you store them dry it can't grow.
Americans wash their eggs to make sure there is next to no salmonella on the shells. This destroys the layer and the eggs will spoil after a month.
As for bread, I freeze it if I leave town for a few days and still have some left. Just put the frozen slices in a toaster and they are good. But normally you will go to the bakery at the corner and get fresh bread for one or two days.
This. Americans don't have proper bakeries. That's at least what all German-Americans say.
Could it be that you Americans mainly have bread that needs to be put in the oven for short time before you eat it? Because that's a sort of bread which is actually designed for the freezer.
Why? Freezing makes sense for fresh things you buy in large quantities because it gets cheaper or is only available in large quantities or you need effort to get it (eg long drive).
Nothing applies to bread
We refrigerate eggs,we are not savages.
Even before refrigeration,my grandma had a cold room where she would store them>>53355307
Wtf are you hoarding bread for, don't you have decent bakeries that make delicious fresh bread? muh hdi
I refrigerate my eggs and freeze my bread unless its fresh from a baker or homemade and so did my parents.
Freezing perfectly fine freshly baked bread is a waste, but freezing bread from a supermarket is ok.
Come at me faggots.
We don't freeze fresh bread. But there's shit pre-sliced american tier bread that's frozen.
And we do refrigerate eggs. We also refrigerate unopened milk, which most euros dont cause they boil their milk to hell in plastic cartons to get that sweet bisphenol and bitch tits.
These bitches can be found 100mts from any average neighborhood house. Why buying bagged bred?
Only stupid people buy bagged bread instead of glorious fresh crispy bolillo.
>mfw an American buys crappy ketchup with chemical additives just so he doesn't have to refridgerate it near me
I just keep them by the stove, lmao are you gay or something?
