How do Poles/Lithuanians feel about this country? Not in the modern sense of YES, but in the real sense.
How do Poles/Lithuanians feel about Potop?
They were based as fuck back then so we're not that butthurt about potop despite it being as cathastrophical as WWII for us
>huge cossack uprising
>war with Russia
>suddenly Swedes and their Transylvanian allies invade
It was a great partnership IMO
It was ~350 years ago, so nobody really hates swedes for this. One thing causing little lower back pain is that swedish museums are full of items stolen back then and swedes don't even think about returning them.
Guess who profited the most form all the Commonwealth-Sweden riff-raff that we had back in the days?
pic not rel but a very good actor anyway
The real rulers of Rzeczpospolita the magnates wanted more than alliance. They actively wanted to repeat lithuanian annexation - first personal union (swedish kings from waza dynasty ruled in poland for almost 100 years) then real union. You dun goofed and rejected this.
Why not Polish-Swedish-Lithuanian-Russian commonwealth? It was a possibility if Wladislaw didint get thrown out of russia because sigismund was a fucking cunt trying to convert orthodox brothers.
Damn, i bought a book about the swedish empire but it was so godamn uninteresting i stopped reading it halfway through. Dont get me wrong, i really want to learn about our old colonies and shit but the author wwrote in a very anti-climatic way.
>Nordics and Poles in one country
it would be like pic related :D
