Anybody living in Prague want to give an American a few suggestions on restaurants? I am visiting there next week and I'd like to try some "authentic Czech cuisine "
>picture of what a burger in my hometown looks like
Not all burgers are supposed to be eaten with hands. Applies to the best burgers I've eaten.
that's just like your opinion man
daily reminder that larger was developed as a means to transport beer more easily and was considered quite shitty compared to wheat or ale brews, until megabrads and globalisation supressed the smaller breweries east of the Elbe
What about a Czech manwhore?
muricans think burgers can be "cuisine" because its on a fancy plate, fries in frying net, and a stick through the burger. nice try.
Going to Prague with a friend in a few weeks too. Will I get raped when I get shit faced?
No, it's not offensive at all. Horriatis (villager) could be used as a derogatory term but not horryo. I'm from Thessaloniki, I've been to many islands, including Syros, wanna visit Crete too some day
as much as I love making fun of the amerilards I do have to admit burgers are god tier food. Also for the Czechbros and tourists Palanda is pretty much the best place to get burgers here.
This desu. Also most gypsy infested spots aren't really the places where tourists go, except for the train stations. If you're traveling by train into the Main Station there is a park that we call Sherwood, not very nice there.
so adorable c:
also, you can go virtually anywhere in crete and get good food if you go to the places with a lot of people, the cretans are hospitable as fuck
>deserving any respect whatsoever
Even Albania is more alpha than you debtors
>tfw I snorted poorly cut cocaine that I bought from a Nigerian at the main square
>tfw I later smoked great stolen weed with a bunch of Germans and Strayans by the river until sunrise
Felt good mang.
Aren't Czech burgers deep fried? In Brooklyn, there's this phenomenal central European restaurant which claims to be of "Slovakian" origin, yet everything on the menu has some other central European country in the name. Czech, Slovak, Sloven, Hungarian, etc. Isn't it mainly sausages, beets, and heavy meats?
Yeah that's what someone else told me. I went to a regular pub and they had a Czech burger but it wasn't good. It wasn't really a burger.
The burger I had was really weird. It had sauerkraut on it and other strange stuff. It also didn't have a hamburger but a piece of ham or something. The bread was strange too, not normal hamburger bread but really sloppy doughy bread-like stuff.
Interesting. There was a lot of sauerkraut on mine too, but I had a beet ketchup with it, which was really good. The bread was also different, here is the menu: http://www.korzorestaurant.com/korzo-menu
Where are you staying? This is walking distance from Castle
That's right next to my previous apartment. Very close to the American embassy. You will see cops standing there 24/7 checking cars.
The apartment I'm in now is about 300 meters away from that, I might see you walk around and not even know.
Neat. I am sure I will be posting on /int/ the few days I am there with my wife. Hows the weather there now? I was hoping for snow but its looking like it wont be much snow judging from the forecast.
Yeah, like everyone else said; the snow has just melted. My girlfriend will arrive tonight as well so I hope there's gonna be some more snow so she can see it.
I got back just in time from the Netherlands to see the snow in Prague, it was really nice.
As long as they dong rapefugee out on my wife I am fine with it. And it was only around $180ish a night which isnt too bad considering what $180 can get you in a hotel near where I live.
I'll visit prague soon too
How to behave in restaurant or cafe? Should i wear suit or it's okay to visit it wearing casual clothes?
Should i ask a waiter of he will come to me? Can i pay with cash? Are tips necessary??
I've been to restaurants only in childhood
>wearing a suite in a restaurant
Is it really that fancy to go to a restaurant in russia? I mean I know there are some nice ones where it is expected but surely that is only a small amount.
You don't have to wear a suit. I never see anyone wear a suit in a restaurant here. Maybe if you go to a really expensive one.
You can pay with cash.
Tips are expected at most places. They will have a receipt that explicitly states: tips not included.
Yeah I was in Greensboro this summer actually. It's pretty nice. Very green like the name suggests.
I'm Dutch, I moved here for tax reasons. I met her while I was travelling in Spain.
email this guy: firstname.lastname@example.org he will bring drugs right to your hotel/apartment. I've only ever bought weed from him, not any hard drugs but the weed was pretty good.
On the internet. I thought it was a little shady too but there were a lot of comments on that he was a reliable guy so I just tried it out. Didn't have any trouble.
Yeah, surprised he hasn't been caught yet.
Yeah, wish moving to America wasn't such a bitch.
No, she wasn't my girlfriend right away because she lived so far away so it seemed pointless anyway. We were just friends but she came to visit me a lot after and we figured we'd just give it a shot. We might break up when she leaves though because it doesn't really work when you live so far away from each other.
does anyone else here hate it when you go for a burger and chips and they give you stuff like that? i personally despise it. the pub i used to go to for a meal used to give you a 12oz burger with cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce and chips. but because it was a pub, it was a sloppy mess. they just dumped a load of chips on, they hastily arranged the burger and you got a free pint with it. but now, it does pretentious shite like OP. a more organised little box of chips so you get about 10 of the fuckers instead of a fucking plateful and instead of getting a shit ton of bacon and meat you just get a nice, organised mess with barely anything. really fucking annoys me. i go to pub for sloppy shite, if i wanted pretentious organised burger and 3 chips with it i'd go to a fucking restaurant
>mfw i get a burger like in the OP
