how would you improve the world?
>execute all religious people who won't drop religion
>execute all dumb uneducated third worlders
>glass india/africa/middle east (except south africa) and turn it into solar farms/farms
>double down on nuclear energy, execute anyone trying to perpetuate the false stigma around nuclear energy
>seize all private funds
>ban reproduction unless you're a highly educated person
>allocate every possible resource to NASA so we can get off this rock
There's no need for competition when every last drop of the earth's resources is being poured into NASA. Competition in that scenario would serve only to fragment the space industries efforts.
I've come to the realisation that the sole purpose of human life and humanity as a species is aesthetic. We will always be mortal, but aesthetic beauty reigns supreme generations and generations after we die. The greatest gift we can leave our descendents is good architectua heritage. We are currently in an era of unprecedented rape of global urban [and natural] landscapes. Most young people grow up in aesthetic poverty, without a single shred of beauty in our towns and cities, and it is just as damaging to the developing person as malnutrition.
The single way in which to best improve our world and the lot of all people, whether third world or first world, is by reversing what has been done to the human habitat. If I could wave a wand and change the world in one way I'd remove all "modern" architecture and replace it with traditional/classical architecture.
The other day I was reading someone who said that architecture was the 1st form of writing. For example, Stonehenge (menhirs and dolmens as letters).
I guess it was Hugo, in Notre dame de Paris.
He's known for his fight against the destruction of historical buildings in Paris, when the concepts of World Heritage didn't exist.
I'm almost a bum, but I like to go read here https://goo
I was born under the glorious sun of the monarchy of Canada and I breath the fresh air of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I am a North American, but I am not a Unites Statesian Americ*n. Those are two totally different things.
>Pass laws that would create tax incentives in every country for people to pour money into competing rocket companies, and focus on growing the private sector of space travel.
>Focus on further developing regenerative medical technology.
>Wage total war against Saudi Arabia.
>Establish colonies on Antarctica before it melts and everyone scrambles for new clay.
