>>53234764
wow it looks like shit
No beaches, only rivers. This time of year it is icy and quiet. It is a very good time to be down by the river, no tourists or kayak people. Only mule deer.
Fucking dystopia
>>53235156
>ITT:post your local beach
>HURR DURR I DNT HAVE A BEACH SO ILL POST A RIVER

Shame only Russians and Brits come around here.
Well here's one in my city I took like 3 weeks ago
>>53235719
Shit weather
>>53235719
>>53235795
Otherwise without the cliffs and the dark sand those are like 2 km away, and it's the biggest naturist ressort in Europe (try looking for "Cap d'Agde" in a porn site you'll find videos everytime)
There's a bigger beach just a couple hundred metres north
The Gulf of Mexico is lovely this time of year.
>>53236066
pic related the beach to the north. This one is packed on a bright summer's day
Oludeniz, Fethiye, Turkey
Corsica beaches best beaches
>>53237648
>>53237693
I wish we had a nice blue sea like that up here
I also wish the water wasn't freezing cold all year around
>>53237736
The English riviera is lovely mate. Too bad it's only the South Coast that is tolerable
Best beach coming through.
>>53237648
been there, 10/10 would go again
>>53237788
My sister moved to Plymouth last year and I was shocked when I saw the beaches in Devon and Cornwall. I thought they only had water like that in the Mediterranean. I'd move down there if the cities weren't completely characterless.
>>53234437
>beaches
>Newfoundland
kek
>>53237736
Well, what you said >>53237788
>>53237910
You guys have some pretty good beaches, even if the water is quiet cold. Sure it's mostly in the south but they're here
That's one of the things I love about France, since we pretty much have one foot in the south and one in the north of Europe we have a huge variety of climate and very diverse beaches (and bitches but that's another thing)
some fatass sunbathing
Sea of Japan
>>53234437

the beach is for faggots
>>53238595

floatings poos
Closest one. The beaches in the north (Wadden Islands) and the south (Zeeland) are better though.
>>53235480
A bigger version of Bombinhas.
:DDD
>>53239051
Completely unrelated but while searching for some more pics I came across this one. Pretty cool to see the huge drop in elevation. It's taken in Zeeland.
>implying we will ever EVER drown
>>53240667
Well actually the scary thing is that if it ever reaches the top of the dune it'll spill effortlessly on in the country, it's basically a wall, not like all the land was as high as the dunes
That being said I don't think you'll drown any time soon
>>53242044
Noice as fuck
>>53242257
>>53242452
Look at this beautiful beach.
Now imagine endless krauts digging up holes all over the place
>>53242571
>endless krauts
Never gonna happen it's in France yeah but in Réunion Island kek
>>53241484
For now, the biggest threat to us is not rising sea levels but heavier and more rain, which can overflow the rivers here. Especially big rivers like the Meuse and Rhine can cause a lot of trouble to all the cities/villages that are built next to them. We have a lot of >designated (grass)lands next to the rivers that are meant to accommodate any overflows, but due to climate change we have to make even more room for any overflows.
>tfw after 500 years of land reclamation you have to give pieces of land back to mother nature

>Wanting to swim in salt water
>>53250556
Salt water is GOAT. After swimming in salt water my skin always feel super soft (no homo) and my hair feels thicker.

>>53250628
>Caring about your skin and hair
I took this picture last year
are there sharks that bite you in straya? thats what i heard desu
Danish coast in the background
>>53234437
Lakes > oceans
Don't believe the memes about British beaches. Only the North is a shit hole.
>>53250992
There's been a surprising amount of shark attacks in the past few years. They're doing a lot of controversial things like floating buoys with hooks and bait on them to catch the sharks off beachs.
I've been swimming at open beachs for at least one day a week every week for the past 10 years and I've never seen a shark though. (excluding reef sharks I've seen scuba diving and snorkelling)
>>53251143
doesn't that just attract more sharks to the area though?
>>53251135
>Devon
>>53251192
Yes sir, the greatest county in England. Everything outside the southwest is basically third world.
>>53251187
I think they're a few km's off shore, in an area they're in anyway. It's pretty fucked up desu.
The idea of sharks in the water doesn't bother me at all really, makes swimming all the more exciting. Theres nothing like a good Adrenalin-surging mad dash to the shore when something weird touches your foot
>>53234437
I live between 3 of the best beaches in the US, This is the one i live closest to.
>>53251135
>>53237859
You guys have a Bermudas.
>>53234630

>>53251468

>>53250992
Yep, but only if you are a regard, or very unlucky.
Burleigh beach, with an approaching storm, Gold Coast, Queensland. Took this a few weeks ago. Actually live in Sydney but holiday in my grandmothers apartment.
>>53251468
Now I've found the same spot completely empty. The other side is much better btw, has nice pine forests.
>>53251424
thats hollywood beach? that place looks pretty nice
>>53253400
yeah Hollywood Florida, its really grown here in the past few years, we have a comparable amount of sky scrapers to Miami and Fort Lauderdale now. Still no big influx of out of state or country tourists.
>live on fucking island
>people prefer to hang out on artificial beach
It does look nice though granted.
>Not having the worlds whitest sand as your local beach.
>>53254808
What do you expect Montreal beaches are fuckin shit
>>53235017
>>53235480

>>53255062
Post some of yours then
>>53255050
I wonder if Verdun Beach is gonna be better heh.
>>53255098
Can you even compete, man?
>>53234703
Aside from the gale force winds, 300 days of rain and near freezing water, yeah it's pretty good.
>>53255192
Actually i can't, i really think northeastern beaches are the best in Brazil. I visited Bahia last year and i saw some amazing shit over there
My state's beaches are quite comfy (ES) but there's not many good pictures of them online
White Horse in Plymouth confirmed for best in New England.
wew
>>53234437
>tfw never seen a beach in real life
Not my country, but posting anyway.
>>53235427
Rivers have beaches, Chang.
>>53235269
Accurate representation of your country tbqh
>>53257485
But can't you see the world from up there?
Piha Beach, one of our surfing beaches but it's pretty nice for a swim
>>53236133
Packed?
And checked
>>53254469
i always saw hollywood in the news of crime, is it better now?
>>53250992
If you swim out too far by yourself, but you're kind of asking for it.
We have helicopters flying over beaches to find sharks and alert everyone so it's relatively safe
Whangapoua beach
Huntington Beach, California. One of my favorites.
See that pier? the red roof building at the edge? it's a 50's diner style restaurant called "Ruby's". God-tier lunch there m80s. You can get a burger, fries, a chocolate shake and sit on the patio on a warm day (think 86F/30C).
>>53258569
Fuck Huntington, Newport and Oceanside is where its at
Itaparica, BA, Brasil
Australia's most overrated beach coming through
>>53250992
They're very rare
Guarded beaches sound an alarm
There are more Shark attacks nowadays because there are more retards who like to surf by themselves at obscure beaches
Ninety Mile beach, lovely for tourists because the tour buses run all the way up and down the beach itself
The beach I grew up near
That ship ran ashore in the 1800's and they couldn't get it going again so they just left it there and named the beach after it
It's slowly been deteriorating ever since
They removed some of it last year after It was declared a hazard, but some still remains. I haven't gone down and looked yet
>>53258824

Do lakes count? I'm not close to any ocean.
>>53258631
NIGGER
>>53258312
It looks ghetto, but the people here are generally very nice and tight knit. The people here have also made an apparent decriminalization of marijuana, although if you go and smoke a blunt in front of a cop hes gonna tell you to put it out.
>>53258650
reminds me of the Florida Keys
