Change the color of the star of david to a darker color. r8
Need to revise it, theres a few errors and I have more info, also debating whether I should use historical flags or not
I'm envious of you guys.
Oh god I want more kinds of blood.
Wow you know a lot about your family history. I really wish I knew that much but my senpai are very hush hush about my history. I can only assume my great grand parents were all peasants or something while yours you had corresponding jobs to major events in the world such as the two world wars. Maybe my great great grandparents were involved in the Taiping rebellion idk, anyway interesting read freedombro
I'm relatively sure someone up the tree was a french rape baby, though.
If I could trace back my European ancestor they probably all would be boring farmers or shopkeepers. The interesting history happens when people move and try to make a name for themselves and shrug off mediocrity, you may well be one of these interesting figures in your descendants trees. Thanks for reading though, many find it too much I believe
How is Brisbane? I always Imagined Queensland was the best part of Australia
Don't worry burgerbro, If you're a competant socialiser and generally a'ight to be around you'll figure something out about the friends thing right? :) Find a club or something with similar interests I guess.
Do you have any info on your relative about the prohibition speaksery establishement? i'm transfixed about that period atm
It's so fucking cool that you can share your relatives and inlaws family history to what job they have, how many children, what they did, how they died etc. Seriously the most I know about my grandad on my dad's side was that he liked opium A LOT. He died when he was like 40 or something. Additionally with Chinese people at the time his wife had binded feet and he smoked and drank heavily.
it's fucking horrible. Chinese people like to find meaning and beautify everything so they'd justify it as "this is how women should be" or "how elegant it is to have small feet". It was just the norm.
you know how it's ideal for girls to have long hair? That was just the norm for women back then. If a women didn't have bound feet, she was considered unattractive and unlikely to find a husband. The idea to bind feet was to further beautify a woman and portray them as helpless and shit. There definitely was a sexual aspect in it.
The New Zealand heritage was surprising. I think they may have had assets in Australia, but I'm not completely sure. The great granduncle that died in ww1 fought for Australia even though he was born in New Zealand.
As for the rape baby claim, I'm just really confused by all the German/French last names I'm seeing together up the tree. With all the annexation going on at the time, it's sort hard to distinguish what's going on. I probably need to do some more research on the history of the area at the time.
On another note, I was kind of surprised to find out my great-grandparents were cousins as well, but they were rather wealthy at the time, so I guess it may have just been a way to keep money in the family.
Yeah, it's pretty nice, m8. Definitely prefer it to Sydney/Melbourne.
interesting.................desperate times call for desperate measures right?
tfw: i almost uploaded faces of /int/ picture collection edit then thread was deleted.
It's sort of difficult if a country/area didn't have a flag at the time (not to mention some people on here may not even recognize it), so I would personally just stick with standardising everything and use the modern day ones.
But then again, it's up to you.
>a few other things I'm not allowed to say
my grandpa was with a minor artillery unit 18th reserves
same unit as his father did when he stopped being a nazi and moved to austiralia
