I find the life here quite good desu. Economically you can live a normal life if you find a job not in luxury but not in difficulty either. Economy is good in Turkey if you are close to AKP. As for south I've stayed in Napoli and loved it a lot. Yes it is a bit less developed than north maybe but I never felt I was in danger and people are quite friendly.

I live near Milan like you. It's a comfy life.
I would hate to live anywhere else in Italy tbqh lad. I like being surrounded by green fields, having a lot of "centro commerciale" in a 10 min drive from my home, and being less than 30 mins away from Milan. You know, it's the right compromise.

As for a job, I don't know. I'm quite sure I'll have to move away once I'm done with university, or be ok with a shitty wage. I'm not able to decide right now.

Learn basic Italian but since Pisa is very touristic maybe you can get by. I don't know how it is in med school but in Italy there are oral exams after written exams which can be tough. Other than that enjoy, eat different stuff, don't fall for there is only pasta and pizza in Italy meme, travel a lot. If you wonder any specific thing ask me because it's easier that way
