People give less shit about czechs as they are farther away and our history isn't connected as much as with poles. No negative opinions as no positive.

We get along quite well despite numerous differences. Part of the reason is that we never got into a truly major conflict between each other. In fact we had pretty good relations during the early-mid Middle Ages (our own Piast dynasty being basically an off-shot of the Great Moravian Principality's political elite) up until they got absorbed by Austria. From that moment on the ties between our nations weakened quite considerably and it pretty much stayed that way to this day.

Still, during the Middle Ages Czech language and culture had quite a big impact on the Polish culture. Words like "sejm" or "hańba" were taken from the Czech language for example. Christianity also arrived in Poland through the Czechs (which is quite ironic if you look at those two countries nowadays). On the other hand, the Polish language had a role in restoring the Czech language during the so called Czech national revival (in XIX century).

So yeah, there is quite a bit going on in our relationship, although not many people know/care about this nowadays
