I don't know OP. I'm from California and it's hard for me to consider mixed people as anything but the norm. No matter what a person looks like I usually assume they might be mixed and that I can't just assume what their ethnicity is. Maybe not all of Cali is like that but the places I have lived are generally like that. I was the weird kid growing up due to being completely Yuro. I don't think the whole world hates mixed people but I think in alot of parts of the U.S. it's a tough situation to grow up in. People tend to categorize each other and when you exist between categories you're always being pulled from side to side and having to adjust your image so that the people you're around don't put you in the "wrong" category and treat you like shit. So you always feel like you're putting on an act for other peoples' benefit to some degree. I have been in that position, not from being mixed, but I think I can understand the feeling.

Mulattos are literally an argument against race-mixing. Outcasted by blacks, not really trusted by whites, particularly identity politics leftists (who typically are avowedly anti-racist, kek) they fit in nowhere except amongst maybe other people who share the experience of non-belonging.
