I don't know what to do with my art and I don't think at my current level I'm good enough. Pls?

draw a comic or some shit like that.
you won't notice that many flaws if you just
sketch random shit.
Have a goal to work towards.
>>
nice hatching.

>>2385859
yeah, make a bigger work. whatever it is. draw something complete instead of just doodling. i'd be interested in seeing it.
>>

Everything full sized and 'finished' I've made I don't like
>>

Do life drawing. Draw a lot from life, carry one sketchbook with you and draw literally everything. trust me.
Build some mileage and you gonna kill it
>>
>>2385896
you just have to keep trying
think of it this way: it's not finished until you're satisfied with it
start over if you need to
or scrap it and move on

are those original drawings? i think you've got basics enough to move on from small doodles. you're just not used to doing bigger things. that's why it's scary. you just have to.

this is good. go outside or be in your room or wherever but draw something. since it's from life you can give yourself some slack and have it 'unfished' and done too

in addition copy masterwork. whether it's a screenshot from a video game/animu or a classical painting, copy entire compositions

that'll be a good stepping stone into doing something bigger yourself

I already do that, fill up sketchbooks all the time with life drawings and still lifes, I do need to push myself to complete somthing original, I can work for plenty of time on stuff from reference but my confidence falls apart when I have to flesh out a sketch of something original. Here's the rest of that page. Also the only medium I enjoy working with is pen and ink, digital, paint, charcoal and pencil, tried them but I don't like them. Does that throw any possiblity of employment out the window?
>>
Good enough for what? What exactly do you want to achieve?
>>

some form of income from my artwork ideally, but that's as far as I have a goal for.

hey man, don't get down on yourself. I'm more or less in the same shoes. i get really depressed trying to come up with something original.

your stuff would be good on merchandise. sell out (or whatever the less naughty term is). get an instagram, follow people, don't get spammy but establish your self.

love your medium. you can just scan it. learn enough photoshop to make it into a neater document. put it on cups and sell it on Society6 or something.

if you want to make money off of your work, you can't just stare at yourself in the mirror and think you're crap. there's so many people who suck who already make money by all sorts of measures. fuck them. you've got skill, now smack that shit onto a tote bag, and sell it.

you can worry about not making money after you've tried

even if you dont git gud and make original stuff, but be good enough to render your references to your original style. frankly, people here are going to chase you like sharks especially if you try that, but if your goal is to make an income, just bite the bullet and sell shit. and don't mention it to anyone here.

If you're feeling this it means that you're doing enough
Try to have some fun with both man, it's just art, enjoy it, discover new things

>it means that you're NOT doing enough

Fixed
