99% of successful Patreon accounts seem to be getting money for no reason at all.

The problem is that they don't stop paying even if the "service" is literally dog shit. Most of the people on patreon make their money for the reason of "hey, it is hard to make a living on the internet as a content creator, why don't you people help me out so I can make it a full time job" which is kinda funny when you compare that situation to the supposed audience. Where is their money coming from? An actual job with a guaranteed paycheck, not you asking for sympathy dollars because its so hard to earn money from creating. Its also funny how most people do it for free with an even more frequent rate and usually of better quality.

Art should start out as a hobby and then maybe, if you're lucky, develope into a career. You should not go into it expecting your audience to keep you alive. If you maintain to sell your work, don't take it as granted, you might not sell anything the next day. Have a back up plan. Like atleast a part time job somewhere outside of that field.

That's the whole point of patreon. To support artists you like. The fact that many artists have started to do rewards and stuff is actually borderline conflicting with the terms of service from Patreon. You are not allowed to sell a product or service for money on that website.

These guys are con artists. After the amount of money they make they removed animations (which most people see as the whole point of the game) and still haven't added them back. There have been no animations or even images of sex for the last 6 months or so. People have the right to bitch.
