Anyway, your foreshortening is way off (especially on that fuckhuge hand) and honestly you would benefit from hanging out in the beginner's thread for a little while. Maybe do some more research on underlying anatomy/construction of the skull.

I think the sideways drawing represents the confusion we all experience in daily life. The lined paper stands for the rigid standards we're all expected to conform to in society, and how we as artists break the mold not by writing on these lines, but by drawing over them.
