/ic/, what is your drawing/study schedule? What different studies do you do every day? I never know what to study and in what order so I end up not doing much. Ah, the problems of self-teaching.
I'm project oriented
I always try to aim towards a goal, say for example doing a sculpture, and when I get stuck or find difficulties I just study those until I can overcome. The result is that as long as I'm producing I'm always becoming better at something
no chart
I study what I want
I enjoy it
random subjects
that's it
enjoy life anon
I decide that day if I'm going to do perspective/figures/master/comp whatever then I do a few pages in my sketchbook or on Photoshop. Try to spend 3 or 4 hours a day on it, but I certainly dont hit that mark every day. Getting better at it though. I wonder how hard it would be to buy some Aderal
I usually try to do 4 hours
today's study is whatever I was struggling with yesterday.
If I can't think of something to draw, I just do gestures until I think of something.
on a work/school day I try to get 4 hours of art done, and 4 hours of art consumption
(i.e. going outside, watching movies, tv, videogames, living, etc.)
on a weekend it's 8 hours art, and 8 hours consumption. I try to focus on understanding
art concepts and building a visual library as opposed to attaining a specific mastery.
Drawing gets easier the more you understand what you're doing.
You have a lot less wasted lines and you make less mistakes so it gets faster over time.
