Can I get some constructive criticism on my art?

I'm only a beginner at making pixel art and if you could criticize my work and give me tips that would be great.

No shading replications out of 10
Not much more that I can say besides use shadings, work on more nontraditional prospectives, and learn about lines
Lines drive pixel art, have fun with it. Make a few more faces like yesman where the weights are inequal

>Lines drive pixel art
uh. no.

pixels drive pixel art. clusters drive pixel art. lines aren't even necessary.

practice AA, look out for stray pixels (like the black pixel in the top of skeletor's hood), make sure your linework is a consistent thickness (skeletor's go from 1 pixel thick to two pixels thick where the hood meets the cloak)

If you're serious about pixel art, lurk around pixeljoint and pixelation. you might have more luck in their forums.

I don't know how helpfull this is, ut in my mind Heroes 2 has the best pixel art I have ever seen. Check out some monster sprites, maybe it helps with your inspiration.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
