Fantastically cute. The sausage legs look kind of out of place though. On the thumbnail they're ok but on the completed, full-figured image they look kind of off-putting. Nonetheless it's pretty fuggin' cute. Good ups nigga.
Darling Dolly Princess a cute!!!!! cute!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cute indeed-I like the heart eyebrows and the face in general-and I like how it almost looks like a watercolor!
>that partially-obscured knife
Good, clean lines. Her arms look just a bit too long to me but I'm not sure. Always wrists bottom-out around the gooch. Having her legs vanish towards the bottom while keeping the cape consistent and continuous is an interesting.choice, it almost creates a frame in a way.
Damn son. Nice job. The only crit I have is that the stage left eye looks a bit larger than the right, and the mouth looks a little goofy with how bototm-lip heavy it is but I can imagine both of those things being an intentional stylistic choice/a product of her expression. Very well done.
>tfw you change the way a default brush handles size and it overwrites the thumbnail icon
I have no idea how to get it back. I really just want to wipe the entire thing and go back to square zero but it literally doesn't let me delete brushes by any conventional means that I've looked into.
Sword Princess. Random geometric shit in the background means it's a composition, right?
More garbage. Roll.
Encountered Drider princess while exploring the dubious dungeon. Only had time to do a simple pencil sketch after... our time together.
PS: If a drider offers to spin you a cot for the night, be prepared to NOT sleep. Give this info to passerby.
Needed to sell some of the gifts I got from my Drider princess, I mean not to be offensive, but I need to eat and I may also need better gear.
Lo and behold, the merchant queens caravan, lead by 30 horses and nearly three stories tall. All on wheels no less!
Some burly looking guards asked me if I was looking to trade. I said yes, and the entirety of the awesome home on wheels stopped. I was ushered inside and to the business quarters.
Inside was a beautiful woman, albeit a stringent businesswoman, had a peculiar aura about her.
She wasted no time with giving me a *thoroughly hard bargain* but we finished satisfied with my piddly amount of gold for my really rare gear.
I managed to draw in my book a quick sketch of this beauty. however... apparently I was being charged to draw her, and with a call of the guards, I was left penceless and thrown out of the caravan. The fall bent up the picture too.
PS: I was told by a guard if I jest about how absurdly large her crown was, I would be flogged.
PSS: The flogging I received was good, but I would really fear for those flogged with cruel intent
You ought to look into the drawing more beforehand. I don't think you should be able to see her gooch from that angle or she'd be tipping over. The legs look wonky as well. Keep practicing.
Unf. Very good fampai; only flaw I'm seeing in particular is that the stage right eye is JUST higher than the left one, following the brow line. All things considered it's a very fine sketch.
Idkkk she's trying to catch her crown because it's floating away and she's too high to be coordinated since she's basically druggie princess.
man you guys are like the last heralds of this niche. the tg thing is dead yet like a fortress you all stand strong. I salute you. I miss the golden age of tg. good times. then all the nitwits just abandoned it because no one wanted to actually contribute.
I like it, it's cute and the rendering is like, deceptively well done considering how simple it is overall. I feel like the head may be very slightly too small but it's late as balls and I'm sick so don't take anything I say too seriously.
Might finish it later, might just roll again.
Dark elf princess. Ugh, took me way too long to do this. I'm okay with it though.
Work on your line confidence in particular broham.
Nice, I like it.
You have a long road ahead of ya bud, don't think I can't see that partially erased hand! The body is pretty flat too. Keep working at it. Spend a while drawing 3D primitives in perspective and then return to the figure.
nomad princess, with an ethnic side.
Considering my last post as my next roll.
Cyclops Princess. Much happier with this one!
slime princess..ish. Tips on creating stringy goo would be great!
>that big potato nose
Was made for my big potato dick, muhfugga. Good work, I think the perspective might be muddled just a bit though.
Pretty good overall but the hammer is placed awkwardly considering where her hand is; I think you meant for her to be resting the hammer on her shoulder like in the thumbnail drawing but because of the position of the hammer's head and the position of her hand she's really not resting the hammer on anything and is instead holding this heavy looking hammer perfectly straight with her arm behind her head.
did you expect nomad women to be blond with blue eyes and pointy sharp noises ?
Needs more balance, she looks like she's falling over.
I changed up and added some gesture for more attitude. Nice concept.
I almost forgot about the crown.
Thematically it's similar to the old "draw a wizard" threads on which this thread is based, wherein you would draw a generic wizard character depending on what you roll. The characters are a little more unique this time around but the spirit is the same. It's just something to do if you can't think of anything to draw/you're bored. It's based off of a piece of /tg/ OC that's long since been abandoned by its creator.
doesnt really look like the eldritch thing but w/e
didnt finish cleaning it; i might do that and paint it later. what do you guys think?
Very, very nice. Her ear might be just a little low on her head considering the angle, but overall, I don't know who wouldn't go ape over this.
One example of a tangent is when two otherwise unrelated lines blend together and create one line; for example the image I posted where the line from the guy's hat follows through into the building. The hair and tail of the character kind of blend together in a similar fashion in a few places. Again though I really like it overall.
One more roll and then I'll stop spamming this thread with my messy warm ups....(crosses fingers for moth princess)
I think the feet are fine honestly, however you may have a point with the face, and I don't think it's necessarily the structure of the face, but perhaps just that everything in the picture (besides the wings which are more background dressing anyway) has a superlative amount of detail except the eyes specifically. Maybe that's what you're finding off putting about it.
I know, right?
Getting the translucent effect is hard I have to imagine, you've done a good job subtly exposing the skeleton underneath . Very good; I really like the way your work almost looks like it was made using watercolors.
Trying to get the hang of working without lines.
Nah, nothing practice wont fix. It helps to think of how your bones are bent under your skin when trying to understand them, I find.
Thanks! It was mostly confusing at first because I didn't know where to start, but once I started slapping some colors around it got easier to nudge them in a direction. Having it compared to watercolor is a high compliment though! :D
Tsundere-ass nigga; you tell that anon how you really feel!
I'll end up coloring it eventually. I'm just sick of it at this point.
Good luck on your endeavor! I really like how you interpreted her hair. :D Also, her crotch seems to be rather high up?
This is so adorable! I love those cute butt spindles.
Dat hour glass shape. However her waist is a little too small.
It looks great in gray too. Some parts of her armor look really flat and drawing the backsides of her armor might have helped with that.
this is my first run on tower princess, an I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would, thanks for making it be fellas
