Hello, I am new here. By looking at my latest digital painting what would your honest thoughts and opinions be? I don't share my work really because I dislike everything I create having seen true masters work all the time in my feeds. Would you say I have potential as any sort of entertainment artist? From this piece what field of digital art should I focus on? I.e graphic novels, concept art, illustration ect.. I am in a limbo for direction for my portfolio. Please be a hero and help me a lost soul just painting everyday like a curse. Most importantly do I have potential or am I living a false hope? Much love be brutal. Sorry for bad grammar.
Why is the fucking pond pink?
Anyway, post more artwork or any sort of criticism is pointless.

I have absolutely no idea :^/ could be upto you. I'll put some more below

Wait you made this? I see this pic almost every week. A guy called Neboscrub (It's in russian, can't write it correctly) has this as an image for one of his songs.
Great drawings, man. You could definetley do concept arts imo
Your faces look a little amateurish, but generally I think your stuff is pretty nice. Definitely worth posting it somewhere anyway (though by the filenames you got them from Facebook so I guess you post them somewhere).
If you want to target games and general fantasy illustration, you need to bring your stuff to a higher level of skill + detail + polish. If you want to target animation, you need to think a lot about story and center your work around telling one, and perhaps stylize your characters more. I don't see story anywhere in your pieces and at present you strike me as someone who's just trying to make pretty pictures so aim for the former, I guess?

Hope you are not claiming that's an original art from you.

Oh wait nvm, it says study on the top right, I'm stupid.
>>2336223
are you being serious? That drawing in no way holds up to the industry standard.

there is no such thing as an industry standard when it comes to art
Thanks for the imput so far guys. Taking my stuff to a higher level is a massive complication for me. Like hitting a brick wall, then having to spend too much time climbing it i.e spending amateur amounts of time refining and polishing. With all that in mind I simply don't know what avenue to take my art abilities as little as they are and be successful. Here's a study from 2 years ago... not much improvement.. I'll post some others
Here's a more cartoon style I did 2 years ago.. again not much improvement for 2 years. No direction or consistency in my art.. like I originally said I feel stuck in a limbo, maybe I'll accidently break out of it an create some consist environments or characters that could be used in animation, games or film.

It was a study, hence the word study on my study of it.
