IF YOU ARE A /BEG/INNER IN ART, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice. We should not have to make new threads or post in the Drawthread with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.

Life drawing is an indispensable tool in your art career. Do not be intimidated based on your skill level - there will always be someone worse than you and someone better than you. Use this opportunity to meet new artists for learning, critique, and growth.
When can I draw and animate cute animu girls doing cute things
Just a few straight bros jackin off to some straight porn together
what's a good way to organize and schedule yourself so you can practice drawing effectively and not doing it randomly when you feel like it?
I'm trying get to self teach with drawing on the right side of the brain, but my own fear of failure is making me procrastinate
i think the best way to get over it is to make an actual schedule. in a given week, try to set yourself what days youll spend on studies, drawing from imagination, or both.
then try to follow it through by practicing in the same time each day. this kinda helps with the fear aspect .you might start to realize that failing sometimes is not that bad. plus once you do it enough it becomes a habit, which makes everything ALOT easier.
im not saying this is easy though, it can be fucking hard to follow at first. just try to stay disciplined and push through.
lastly i feel obvious saying that but dont be afraid of faliure. failiure is a natural part of the learning process. you cant make cool shit if you dont fail first. actually, if you do something and fail, youre making alot more progress than you would if you dont do anything.
Im struggling with this too...ima try keeping a sketchbook in my lap open with a pen in my hand n not letting myself get up till ive crapped out at least one fuckin doodle...work my way back up to making at least 3 finished pieces in a day.
You need to have a fever for art. Just let it consume as much time as you can favoring art over any other leisure activity. It's easy enough for me.
Hey anons. I've started drawing casually for fun and was wondering what are some good basic markers for coloring. I bought a 6 pack of sharpie pens but would like more colors. Markers/pens preferred, skinnier the tip the better.

see this ic? This is why Fundamentals are important, people take you serious, even if you make bland/braindead stuff, or rip offs. Just shit tecnical skills and everyone will praise you.
What's your reason why you do art ?
My reason is to make this kind of aesthetic and probably create manga.
I make art so I don't murder millions of people.
>>3098298
I do art because I think it's fun to be able to turn my thoughts into images. Creating things out of nothing.
I'm also vaguely interested in creating some kind of 'objective art', that makes every person who sees it feel the same thing. Obviously that's probably unachievable but it's still a fun challenge.
passes the time. im single. i still have a goal to use my art for games. i still hold onto the fact i might do some freelance work for some games companies. also as a kid i used to be into anime illustrations like that one and wanted to be that good, but ended up becoming inspired by different illustration styles, hoping to get that good some day. art is a life long journey for me, it's all about challenging myself to push my image to the best i can do.
In case anyone's wondering, my grand project is still in the works! I'll keep all of you posted.

Ever since I saw ortographic drawings of spaceships as a kid I knew I preferred pictures with long focal lengths to narrow, high FOV perspective, it just feels more natural to life. I don't walk around seeing vanishing lines converging everywhere, but I don't want to make isometric drawings.
Every perspective guide, however, uses these ridiculously high field of view guides with vanishing points that sit closer than my testicles.
Attempting a higher focal length look often feels like haphazard guesswork, and placing several figures on the plane feels more difficult.. Is there an easier way to go about it?
The perspective here confuses me for instance, ignore the upward hill and look at the cars on the ground plane. Everything on that plane, including the sidewalk and tram lines are aligned in perspective, but the cars don't seem aligned st all?

Can you really not figure out why this might be?
Is there a huge difference between Clip Studio Paint Ex and Clip Studio Paint Pro?

First of all, check the sticky and realize you have no idea what you're doing. Don't let this break your heart, let it be a revelation that starts you on the right path.
Then check the catalog and see that there are threads for sharing drawings and threads to ask for critique. This should probably be posted in /beg/.
Lastly, don't post pictures and just ask "what do you think?". Prople can't provide insight based on such a general question, especially when your piece is abstract and inexperienced. You need to guide US and ask for more specific criticism (ie. "This drawing is supposed to do X or providing a feeling of Y" for impressionism or "Here's a photo study and the reference, how's my anatomy?" if you're doing hard practice/more "correct" work).
Hope this helps, and have a great day.
