Do you also get upset when you don't hear anything about one of your fav artist in a long time. Artist that just stopped posting years ago and you dont know why they stopped or of they are ok what if hes dead what if he fell into depression and quit art bit maybe he got a job at a major studio and he had to delete all his old stuff. Do you know some artists who just stopped ?

Yes, my cousin committed suicide and her deviantart/tumblr is still up like she's alive. I disappeared 7 months ago due to serious illness and may never return. I didn't let anyone know, because no one asked and I don't want employers to know.
Otoh I did know someone who returned after years and was fine. Just got busy and lost interest.

If you are a hobbist, the software that you will use will no matter that much, but many people prefer photoshop (it's the industry standar) because it's has a lot of documentation. so the only thing that I can say you it's try many programs until you find the one you like it.

I think you're going for the middle christian art style. In that case maybe the colors are too saturated, make the edges more refined so they stand out and not merge with the background.
the face seems small for the head, so I'd make that bigger next time. Her head orientation is towards the bottom right but the nose is facing towards me.

So, I've been drawing for like a year now like 4 hours a day and recently I wanted to test the 12 hour meme to see if it really worked. In the end, I was able to draw for 12 hours but it resulted in carpal tunnel. Mind you I was taking frequent breaks(every 30 min-hour) but it still didn't matter. I suddenly felt this extreme pain in my ring finger and when I went to the doctor, they diagnosed me with carpal tunnel. This is a warning for any beginner who wants to attempt anything this risky. Don't do it.
