Because we should not have to make new threads or post in draw threads with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
AVOID asking unrelated questions, there is a question thread for that.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead (I recommend ShareX)
#2)
>change camera capture settings to something smaller

There's a new (and cleaner) sticky in town! You can see it at:

>Thread study: Try to draw/paint the opening or any other following images.
Feel free to post your original works as well if you're trash.
TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.
OLD THREAD: >>2853580
Lets see what we can get out of this meme. Just fill in the silhouette with a drawing and post.
Only post work, no shitposting pls.

I'm completely new, not sure what to do next (besides continue reading the sticky)
>>2858390
if you read through the sticky you would've read "DO NOT:
Make your own threads before having lurked for a week.

Make or reply to any of these low quality and repetitive threads:

Noah Bradley here. You guys probably know me from some gorgeous Magic the Gathering paintings I've done, and also my Sin of Man project.
I've recently left social media aside from Reddit, so I was just coming on here to see if anyone had any questions about how I went from essentially nothing to being a great artist.
So go ahead, and ask away. I love educating those who know little.
How do I get noticed?
>>2852591
Am I supposed to get cucked before or after I get a following?
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I really need some feedback so I guess here it goes:
I'm making a twine story/game for a uni class and want some feedback.
It's not finished yet but I think there's enough to get the idea.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in helping i'll post the file/link

Seconding this.
Hey /ic/ I'm bored and I want to make a comic/manga
My style consists mostly of linework, but I would really like to learn how to shade my drawings, but in a really simple fashion, I have grey and black ink only and I don't really want to spend a lot of time on every sngle one of my drawings
Study artists you like, that'll help you to develope a style.
THE FUNDIES, OP! WHERE THE "FUN" "DIES"! GET IT?

i need help, for top secret reasons i'd have to kill you for.
1) How do i harvest ink from pens
2) how do i improvise a dip pen
1) open a bic, cut the ink tub and blow the ink into another recipient
2) pluck a feather from a chicken or pidgeon and use the point to draw
>>2858873
2) grab a stick, carve it into a dip pen
>>2858904
i like the feather idea
i made a this outta a tin of beans
ink from pens didn't workout.
I think it's cause i put it in a ziplock bag instead of glass.
Would lemon juice be better as an standin ink?
I recently started drawing anime faces and it looks nice as you see it in the picture.
My issue is that I want to draw more symmetrical shapes for the face and learn to draw complex hair styles. If you are an expert in drawing anime, please tell me what drawing techniques you can share with me.

hello /ic/
please help
i have come to you today from /tg/ in hopes of asking for some ideas and or designs for some different looking space ships
im running a game that is set in space and im out of starship designs. google images has given all its got and its mostly iconic ships that are simple to recognize and i have come up with some ships myself but im out of ideas so im asking for some quick and simple but different looking ships
im needing
a space battleship / dreadnought (that doesn't look like a water based ship put in space)
a luxury passenger ship (lots of room for fun stuff inside) no weapons luxury liner the love boat kinda thing
a ghost ship / haunted / creepy (the “flying duchman” of space, weird science and dark arts combined, space horror stuff)
a WTF ship that is made of parts that were never meant to be a space ship by someone who somehow made a pile or unrelated things work together like a spaceship (kinda a junkyard special, but doesn't look like a flying garbage pile)
a space pirate ship (looks like a peaceful ship to the authorities but when it wants to it becomes a battle / boarding / smuggling ship)
a science ship explorer. lots of different sensors and sciency looking stuff and labs for doing experiments
an alien mystery ship. like stonehenge and the eater island heads. really different and with nothing to give any clues as to who built it, why, how, how long ago, or even what all the things your looking at are meant to do, or why its in this place. but definitely not made by humans
not asking for much just some ideas that are not star trek, star wars, a space airplane, a water ocean going ship put in space, or the flying angular dildo. that seems to be the few sci fi designs for all space ships
>>2858018
/i/, faggot
Unless you pay, my rate is $40/hour
>>2858018
i kinda liked how for the space horror ships they look different like in dead space they look like they have the ribs of a decomposed body or in event horizon its to look all gothic and shaped like a crucifix
>>2858025
then dont contribute
all i can pay is in gratitude
>decide I'm just not gonna make it, I have no talent, am too lazy to practice, have no observation skills and suck at perceiving dept
>start to draw just for fun, ignoring anatomy or mistakes, just do whatever I feel like
>suddenly drawing isn't stressful anymore, it's something enjoyable I can do in my free time
>get triple the amount of commissions because now I'm more active and people search me more often
Did I just got memed
>tfw draw a lot
>have no blog
>not sure if could be popular
Really makes me think, OP.
What are your rates?
>>2858557
Could you post your work please?
Redpill me on Prismacolor's colored pencils /ic/
I keep seeing people say the quality has been going down but can I hear exactly how? Reasons why? What are some good brands around the same price point that'd be a better alternative?
>>2858395
They turned to shit when they switched production to Mexico. Leads that are poorly centered and poorly bonded to the casing, resulting in lots of breakage, both internally and when sharpening. The best alternatives, while slightly more expensive, would be either Faber-Castell Polychromos or Caran d'Ache Pablo. Luminance are better but even more expensive.
>>2858446
I can confirm this. my original set were noticeably objectively better than my most recent set.
>>2858446
Ah, that's right... Faber-Castell claims to be a German company but the tin is made in Indonesia.
