and where is her penis?
Is being thicc (or thick i dont know) something exclusive to women or men can be too? If yes, in which sense?
>>3117955
Unless you have round long legs and a fit upper body, yes. Some men can have legs that lool like woman legs.
>>3117955
As far as I know thicc is just a good amount of muscle (not excessive, just enough to give the body a good shape) together with a healthy amount of fat (aka not overweight)
It doesn't apply to just women

Are you me? D-do you also ironically shitpost with anime and nitpick it by creating threads pointing out perspective issues and the limitations of it by comparing it to real world forms and anatomy?
>PAOLO UCCELLO would have been the most gracious and fanciful genius that was ever devoted to the art of painting, from Giotto's day to our own, if he had labored as much at figures and animals as he labored and lost time over the details of perspective; for although these are ingenious and beautiful, yet if a man pursues them beyond measure he does nothing but waste his time, exhausts his powers, fills his mind with difficulties, ad often transforms its fertility and readiness into sterility and constraint, and renders his manner, by attending more to these details than to figures, dry and angular, which all comes from a wish to examine things too minutely; not to mention that very often he becomes solitary, eccentric, melancholy, and poor, as did Paolo Uccello.
>This man, endowed by nature with a penetrating and subtle mind, knew no other delight than to investigate certain difficult, nay, impossible problems of perspective, which, although they were fanciful and beautiful, yet hindered him so greatly in the painting of figures, that the older he grew the worse he did them. And there is no doubt that if a man does violence to his nature with too ardent studies, although he may sharpen one edge of his genius, yet nothing that he does appears done with that facility and grace which are natural to those who put each stroke in its proper place temperately and with a calm intelligence full of judgment, avoiding certain subtleties that rather burden a man work with a certain laboured, dry, constrained, and bad manner, which moves those who see it rather to compassion than to marvel; for the spirit of genius must be driven into action only when the intellect wishes to set itself to work and when the fire of inspiration is kindled, since it is then that excellent and divine qualities and marvellous conceptions are seen to issue forth.

Not only does that description fit me to a T, I have also invested all my time into learning perspective for the past 8 months.

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.

>not drawing exclusively upside-down from imagination
its like you dont even want to make it
Budget poorfag here
So, a friend of mine recently told me drawing with a pen was better overall, I tried a little bit and the drawings feel a little bit more ''vivid'' compared to regular pencil sketches without too much work done ( without shading ) but I feel it would be worse in the long term specially to someone learning
Since with a pen I don't have the option to erase and sketching is harder than ever, since I have less freedom to sketch and every line is permanent, so every stroke I do on the paper must be as precise and necessary as possible
So I want to know the opinion of you guys on how you feel what to use or even when to use those 2, if possible keep the conversation focused on these 2 only
>>3113366
pen is better because it forces you to think about your lines before you put them down on the page. that's good, it leads to better draftsmanship and faster artistic growth.
Also pen holds up better over time in a sketchbook.
>>3113369
What about construction lines and such. When I draw loomis heads and shit there's a lot of lines I end up wanting to erase
>>3113366
I usually use pencil when i do studies or some serious sketch that requires time and thinking
When i feel like i want to do fast sketches from imagination (which usually end up mostly as recreations of what I've learned) i use pen, these r mostly just exercises for muscle memory and a way to relax
Sometimes it just depends on a mood desu, i experimented with a lot of tools when i was starting, and the best is honestly the one that you enjoy the most because it will just make you want to draw more (ripped off advise that i heared about tooth brushes and brushing teeth)

This thread is meant for artists who might want to try to make anime works in-between their studies, however, all forms of stylization is welcome here. It is strongly recommended that you use this thread in conjunction with learning the elements and fundamentals of art. You can also discuss the visual elements of various professional artists as well if you keep it relatively articulate and civil.
Submit your drawings, receive feedback or critique others! Share your knowledge and remember to thank those who've critiqued or red-lined your drawings. Most importantly, to not have fun is illegal!

Perhaps somebody would like to draw together with me? It would be cool to have a chat where you can post your daily work and exchange the meaning. So you can help me and I can help you?
Same we should have the same lvl and draw not only once a week! Post your work
Ok random Internet person!
Like a Discord server or what? What's your preferred method of communication?
Will an Intuos Draw pen work with an Intuos Pro tablet? This might not be completely on topic but I figured people on an art board would know about it
No, I tried it. Did you lose your pro pen? shit is stupid expensive, but i like the grip on it.
>>3118569
I need a pen for school and figured I could use the one from my sister's instead of buying an entirely new one. Thanks tho
is it helpful or suitable if you focus in anatomy/gesture if you want to be a character concept artist and perspective and composition if you want to be an enviroment artist? im doing my best to train all of them at the same time but i think it will not work that way i just have 1 year of experience tho
>>3118534
