Pretty sure its Michael Hamptons work.

Pretty sure Michael Hampton doesn't draw anime and loomis heads.
feels like most of art is just memorization/internalization. is there someway to streamline the process?
any vitamins or supplements that help with art gains?

How do we fix Krita?
>>3116781
A donation here and there would help. I read the Jewish assholes over in the Netherlands have been bullying the team with extra taxation, but each new release makes the program a whole lot better, so there we go.
They should take a look at Paint Storm Studio, Krita just needs to be more faster and it would be perfect.
>>3116781
Off topic here, but I need some help.
Just started using krita on my surface 3. Not surface pro 3. Just surface 3.
Anywho the pressure sensitivity in the microsoft pen works fine with all other media outlets, and when in settings, works fine as well.
But with krita, it does not exist. I get flat ugly lines with no tapir/beautiful drop off. Ive tried the opengl box thing, ive tinkered with krita's in house pressure sensitivity settings. Nothings working.
Anyone have any advice? Its really buggin me and Ive been wrackin my brains with it for a month now. Really wanna get back to drawin.
Have you made your own Doujin /ic/?

Hello /ic/
I know everyone is crazy about character design and getting gud with anatomy and shit including me.
However, I want to branch out more. I'd like to draw cars and mecha but the thing is i dunno where to start. Tutorials online don't really help me much and the general consensus is ... trace over a work piece?
Can you recommend me books or can you show me some artists that are great at this kind of stuff??
(if you post Get Gud your mother, father, your whole family lineage will die tonight. yes including your fucking pets)

Scott Robertson's books and videos.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for
I'm no artist.
I was bored so I started drawing with a black pen.
I like the result so I took a picture and made drawned on top of it on my computer.
However, I got bored...
I'm leaving this here in case any of you desire to continue it and give live to this little fella.
I made his tail thinking about a rat's one...
I should pay more attention to my autistic grammar before posting anywhere...
you got potential buddy, but you need to work on your colors. the original looks much nicer than the colored one (better than most artists in here desu)
>>3119779
I always color them like this just to separate every part from the other. The next step would be shadows, lights and only then setting the proper colors to each part.
But as I said, I got bored...
I am looking for a pice by a video artist. Trying my luck, even though my impressions of this board tells me stuff like this is frowned upon here.
As i remember it, the video shows a kind of seminar room, and the artist is sitting and moving around on stage and in front of a screen showing different pictures. He is portraing a character, like a guru or a medium or something like that, and its a kind of Q&A where he answers different questions. All very newage spiritual spacey stuff. The video is in a comical lo-fi "i have never used a cumputer before" kind of way, with cheap and tasteless effects, like sliding and fading cuts.
Cant remember any names, but i saw it on vimeo.
1+ internet to whoever can help, thanks
Selfbump
finally after like two weeks i feel a natural urge to draw. How do i get this shit to happen more often. How do i motivate myself to draw more? What do you do?

It's not about motivation, it's about discipline
Eventually you get physically ill if you don't practice every day

>Eventually you get physically ill if you don't practice every day
>tfw I'm getting there
>it sucks
Now I want to play videogames but every time I'm not drawing I feel bad
He may be a dorky memester but he is very beginner friendly.

Proof?
>>3119585
OK cool? Why make a thread about this?
Self promotion threads are against the rules scroto baggins
Does anyone know of any artists who have drawn X-Tan and/or are willing to draw her?
>>3119474
I would draw her for a nominal fee of course.
There are other iterations, I'll post them
How does one improve their creature art/design?
Do you mean in general, or do you want feedback on this specific design?
I mean in general
>>3119372
Hehe Forget about it kid, go back to your local atelier and finish off your bargue plates and figure drawings. That's the only way to making it. Anything that encourages one's imagination and creative freedom is a waste of time and will only detract you from mastering the one true art that is the human figure.
Is there a lightweight, free program to record you screen or PS window?
I tried Quicktime but it made PS lag like an 80-year old man avoiding ants ._.
>>3119398
Thanks. I was hoping some folks on /ic/ had experience because of speedpaints and timelapses and what not.
Have a great day!
>Draw new character
>Love it
>Try to draw them again the next day
>Can't get the same looking face no matter how hard I try
Tips for this? It's killing me
>>3119083
gid gud
>>3119083
Was it your waifu?
Try to remember what kind of features and its shapes that "make" your character? Is it the eyes? The noses? Chin length? Etc.
What is your opinion on modern and post-modern art? Also, opinions on individual movements and schools.
>art I've just made
>what I'll do after I've made the art
Modern art was an interesting phase that had it's time and went, though it's unfortunate the impact it had on representational art was so harsh
Post-modern anything is a fart that's lingered too long
>>3118669
Some of it is good and some of it isn't.
