I personally use Adobe Flash, since I really enjoy doing rough traditional and puppet style animation.

I recently bought a subscription to New Masters Academy. I've been watching Erik Olson's videos on perspective. If any of you fellas have a NMA account, what other video lessons and/or teachers would you recommend to watch?

>I've been watching Erik Olson's videos on perspective.

How has this been going for you op? Personally I always end up drifting off during the lectures and I get so frustrated I end up giving up and stop drawing for the entire day. I just want to learn perspective man, it hurts.

also, are you a transhumanist. lol.

of all the NMA videos, erik olson's perspective ones are one of the few that have been all uploaded onto cgpeers

i was aware of that when i bought it, but i don't want to be a pirate (what i tell myself to feel better even though I really just didn't want to wait for registration)

Hi guys, I'm author of life of aspie you can find my comic here:

https://tapas.io/series/Life-of-an-Aspie

I'm always getting critique from my fans about how I should improve my artwork and it's getting really frustrating for me. I realize i'm not the greatest artist ever but it's a comic why can't people simply enjoy it without complaining about insignificant anatomy errors? My comic is already popular with over a 100 subs but lately my lack of artistic ability has been weighing heavily on me.

It's really obvious that you're just some guy who found a mediocre webcomic and decided to bully the author by pretending to be them and posting on /ic/. Pretty weak to be honest.
>>
Hey there Aspie Gamer, if this is actually you. I'm honestly not sure if this is a troll or not because the way OP is written matches up with a lot of trends I've noticed in posts you've written on Tapastic, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

You're honestly at absolute beginner lever right now, and should read through this and do the exercise in it:
https://hubpages.com/art/how-to-draw-learn
Before you start practicing anatomy and construction, you should learn how to draw what you see in front yourself. Try drawing photos too, just to get down your basic linework and observation skills.

I think following stuff like how-to-draw manga books might actually be useful to you. You really have no grasp of even most basic construction, just learning how to draw a stylized face consistently would help you a lot.

Check out Draw-a-Box once you start to get confident with your placement of lines
http://drawabox.com/
From here you can learn basic perspective and construction, which will lead you into getting into the meatier stuff like figure drawing and anatomy.

Godspeed.

This. I drew an actual car in perspective and it didn't recognize it but it recognized a fucking square with circles on the side.

Hey OP, im getting into caricature as well
Drew these today

I'd say that you need to make sure the eyes look like the reference, the eyebrows are too thin, you should emphasize the outer cheek dimples, and the chin is stylized in an unappealing way

just type in a league of legends character name and find tons of people who trace the splash art without understanding what they are tracing or why things are placed where they are.

if you need it as an example its fine, but if you are trying to feel better about your own shitty art 100% unironically kill yourself.

So whenever I post my work people always telling me that I should paint. But I don't even like painting? I just like to sketch. They think i'm lazy or comfort zoning because I never paint. It's like me saying you're lazy because you don't like drawing dinosaurs.

Thoughts?

1. Do what you enjoy, but
2. Get out of your comfort zone and try to improve from time to time, but
3. Still do what you enjoy, if you don't enjoy it, then what point is there?
