What is Loomis asking me to do here, exactly? Do I have to learn the general location of these planes? Whenever I try to rotate this construction on anything but the axis in which Loomis draws in, I struggle to understand where some lines are meant to go. For instance, referencing the top left construction, the line from the chin to the ear isn't always meant to be straight at every angle, is it?

he's not asking you to do anything. those are the planes of the face, learn them so you'll know to light and shadow it. these are some sketches i did while i was going through this part of the book

If you don't get it means you don't read or you just skipped shit. DONT.
Does anyone have to share Ramon Nunez brush set? It was free until last month, I believe, and now.. only for patreons.

they won't help you draw like him

Who said that would? Just interested in how the brushes work
Art belongs to me
>Grind loomis and boxes for x amount of hours per day
>notices progress
>creeps up on artists on DA who don't really give a fuck about art and only draw like 1 hour a week
>Notices that his improvement is slow even though he's grinding 6 hours a day b-but at least he's doing better than than those retards on DA that only draw like once a week? right?
>Feels good

Is there any successful way to torrent Adobe Animate
>>3065037
don't use animate, use flash 8 u dingus
how to git gud with the least amount of practice?
ie: most efficient
Draw 8 hours a day from references.
>>3064568
you're asking a bunch of amateur and beginner artists how to get good and do it in an efficient way. lol
>>3064568
Don't spend your time on /ic/
Download the resources and bail
Don't make the same mistakes I did
>tfw when you realize the secret to drawing good is understanding Perspective and how to model/sculpt in 2D
>tfw when almost no one in this board understands the importance of this and runs around like a headless chicken doing nothing but sight-seeing everything, expecting to one day become a master of drawing from imagination
Wew lad
>>3064286
Literally everyone on this board constantly mentions perspective being by far the most important fundamental. Congrats on finally being on the same page as everyone else, OP.
>>3064289
Go to the /beg/ thread, and show me a single person practicing Perspective.

/beg/ thread is retard quarantine.
How does he do it?
What do you guys think about him?
>>3062746
>How does he do it?

by thinking about boxes
he's awesome.
By not being a stupid American
What's up with these retarded ass Scott Robertson and Erik Olson 90 hour lecture memes? I mean, I can understand doing Robertson if you want to be an industrial designer but why the fuck anyone else go through all that extra shit that doesn't help improve your art?
I went through Vandruff and don't think I got enough
What exercises do I need to do to apply everything together?
>>3065603
How did you not get enough? In just the third video on right angles he covers putting figures in perspective, drawing boxes and carving it out into more complex shapes, rotating furniture in the room by drawing multiple vanishing points on the HL,
Literally, just practice those concepts one by one and then do some finished pieces where you apply everything together. Why do you guys make this harder than it needs to be?
>>3065607
You don't need 90 fucking hours of instruction. If you have trouble executing these concepts correctly on finished pieces, it isn't because you lack theoretical knowledge, it's because you lack mileage.
What's on the TV /ic/?

Yeah, I meant it as in an answer to the question in the op
how do you make money off drawing?
Either by dying in a tragic way or by sucking dicks

IF YOU ARE A /BEG/INNER IN ART, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice. We should not have to make new threads or post in the Drawthread with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead

Job like night guard which requires just sitting in one place and doing nothing.
So, I have a dilemma. I have a main comic story I want to work but I don't want to ruin it with bad art so I decide to work on short comics. The problem is that I can't seem to come up with a story other than my main one that I'm motivated enough to draw. What should I do?
>>3060346
Read short comics that you like and get inspired + get ideas from ten. Aside from that there's not much else you can do besides brainstorm and write until something good comes to you.
Bump, I'm on the same boat. I have what I think is a good typical story. I'm focusing on manga style, your typical harem story with funny shit and lewds. Sometimes I feel my art isn't good enough. I'm working on character designs atm
>>3060346
Do short stories about characters within the universe of your main story. Something to flesh out some side character's backgrounds or some lore elements that your main story wouldn't have explored. Maybe something from the past before your main story happened.
By the way, when people say to do short comics as exercise because your first comic attempts will be crap, they don't necessarily mean the art by that. It's your story telling ability that most likely sucks the most ass if this is your first real story. After getting more experience by doing a bunch of short stories I doubt your main story will still be the same once you get to it, so don't get too attached to it.
are you white washing, ic?
