I drew homestuck fanart back when it was relevent so I know what you're going through.

The drawing isnt too bad, but youve got a long way to go. Id suggest changing the settings in paint or using a different drawing program to avoid the white pixels near your art work. Also, you should work on the human form like the other anon said. Keep drawing!

SketchUp. Has very limited lighting but really you don't even need it. Shapes in their most rudimentary form are incredibly easy to create. Should only take an hour or two to get a fairly good grasp of the most basic and important tools you'll ever need.

here's my channel. give me some advice.

Not >>3072642, but I run a small YouTube channel with 23k subs(1 yr). I mostly do streaming(average 50 - 89 views per stream).

Tips:
1.) pick a platform(YT or Twitch)
2.) commit and go with the flow. Don't bother with a plan(most people spend too much time planning)
3.) Relax and have fun, don't get too serious with it. If content is good view will come. Also don't obsess over it if you just started(don't be check comments constantly and cry over low subs)
4.) pick format and stick with it as long as possible. people who change too often lose subs(they can gain subs) but most often lose more and channels die.

you seem to be into recording painting sessions. Keep doing that. It's a niche that will work. You stick out in the sea of generic commercial Youtube artists.

It's simple, your aesthetic sense is shit while her sense is superior; however she lacks the same technical ability as you (probably from lack of milage ect.), making your drawings look 'ugly' but better in quality.
Just tell her to focus on her fundies and she would be at or better than your level.

No because the long hours and improving in said art tend to be even more troubling than a shitload of minor problem in life. It's not like being a dumb girl who only has to exist on less consumed energy. Artists who are serious about what they do are obsessive about it because its a passion that pays off in satisfaction despite being an intense labor of love and a lot of actual commitment.
