I wanna try it out for fun

Forehead catches light in such a way that it makes it look like he has a dent. Left eye focus off by a few degrees; it has a bit less detail than right eye even though it catches more light, and is also a bit darker than it should be.

Left nose is a bit smudged. Lips are nicely conspicuous but the degree of their smoothness is inconsistent with the rest of your texture/technique.

Keep it though and YGMI

Has anyone managed to find new friends in their mid to late 20s? Ever since my GF left me I've been completely arone. I didn't even really notice I was sharing my circle of friends with that girl until it was too late. I literally have no one to talk to or share my art with at the moment.

I tried life drawing but it was mostly older folk. They swarmed me because I was "so good"... uncomfortable. I'll try to look into some other course. Btw, I'm currently residing in Berlin/Germany.

Lots of artists have sameface issue, I have the opposite. Every time I try to draw a character it looks a little different (example: a page of skeches of the same character with different poses and expressions don't always look like the same character)
How can I avoid/fix this?

You wasted 4.5 hours. The proportions are wrong. Foreheads too large. Facial features too small. Chin too large. It's a mess and it needs to be redrawn with special care taken to get all the proportions and placement correct. Likeness is not easy and takes practice. Good luck.

To be fair, if you're getting paid for it and you're not misleading the buyer by telling them the drawing is all freehanded then you can get away with it. No rules just tools. Just make sure you don't trace if you're trying to learn because it will hinder you.

Don't bother with art books, most of stuff on /ic/ is meme. Also dont bother reading the sticky it's shit.

After a while you'll see some improvement. After 2 yrs you should be good enough to be a pro. Most people don't pursue art as a career so the bar to entry isn't as high as you think. Art school fags spend too much time learning abstract art and waste time. You'll easily get ahead. Trust me. Now go and draw. Stop wasting time here.
