The one and only Queen.
why would they prune it?
I've read worse stuff
Over 9 million people (including me) bought her latest album because it's bad?
I wonder what's the point of people being in thread of someone they don't like
You do realize that only three monopolized record groups have controlled every single position on the billboard top 100 for more than thirty years since the 80's? And signing your soul away to one of these three companies is the only way to get your stuff on the radio? And any piece of shit that makes it on to the radio sells nine million copies nowadays?
So no, you didn't buy it BECAUSE it's bad (even though it is bad), you would have bought it no matter what it sounded like because you're a sheep. You bought it because of who she signed with. Thanks for ruining the music industry and not even realizing it you ignorant fuck
I wonder what's the point of starting jackin' it threads of the same person every day in /hr/ when in fact posting the same thread in /s/ would probably yield much better results
but then again I'm smart
They literally have nothing better to do.
She's signed to Big Machine Records, a country label from origin, that only has a few other country artists. (Eli Young Band, Florida Georgia Line, Rascall Flatts, Tim McGraw, you get my point) Why haven't these artists made it big? And don't give me that 'because they make country and she doesn't' because she's only made 1 full pop album and the other 4 albums also did really well
Saturday Night Fever Motion Picture Soundtrack - 40+ million copies
Backstreet Boys 2 albums - 29 million copies each
Shakira (nobody even remembers her work) - 20 million copies
"Secrets" by Toni Braxton - 25 million copies
All these sold waaay the fuck more and none of them are any good
Disregarding the fact that you refuse to give sources to back up your claims and instead project, you seem to no understand the difference between 'sheep' and 'support'.
You spend money because you want to acquire something, right? To acquire her music, I don't need to buy her music. I could easily download it, and it would save me money and effort. Instead I decided to buy it, because I support what she's doing and selling albums motivates her to do her job.
To put it in a different contrast, I spend ~€200 each year to buy a season ticket for my local football team, who are 13th in the league. I do that because I want to see them play, but I could also just sit at home, pull up a livestream, which is less effort and totally free. Instead I go to the games each week and pay €200, because I support them. I want them to succeed, and I want them to keep doing what they're doing.
>oh shit, it's that creepy obsessive fan again waiting for me to come out the whole time. gotta stay cool and say hi to him like normal. i hope he spills spaghetti and storms away earlier than usual today.
This is probably my best picture of the 1989 tour, so it's the only picture with the '1989' filename in my folder, enjoy.
I'm from the future. I came back to warn you, this is her in six years
Are you saying those bands haven't made it big? 2/4 are huge and the others are really popular.
Sure, some get a few singles in the billboard top 100, but it's neglectable compared to TayTay. and I named mostly names from the label I recognised, so I imagine these are the bigger names contracted. There is no way this label is part of the 'thee monopolized record groups' that 'controll every single position' as the anon that I reply to states.

It's only behind OOTW for me because the beat on OOTW has had me hooked since it's been released. The definition of God-tier.
OOTW is pretty good but it is novel a lot like welcome to new york IMO but most of 1989 is just hits.
here's some more feet if you are into that kind of thing
The best thing about OOTW for me is the beat and the insane bass. If you have good headphones or some speaker, listen to it at a high volume. Absolutely sick.
The mixing is also pretty good, Takes advantage of both channels.
One of my top 3 songs. No bad word about it, the music video was also pretty nice. Too bad it was released this late because it's not catching any attention.
I think Style is the best music video for 1989, the imagery was pretty good.
Really? I get the imagery but I actually thought it was worse than everything but Shake It Off. It's still really good but compared to Blank Space, Bad Blood, Wildest Dreams, Out Of The Woods, I think it's worse.
Fuck it, listening to 1989 all the way through.
Bad Blood was a meme music video, I prefer to have less people plus Lena Dunham makes me want to turn gay.
Blank Space was good, Wildest dreams was also good but I liked the cinematograpy in Style. That is just IMO it probs isn't as good objectively.
I actually liked the fact that she got all her friends to get into the video as it's basically a big fuck you to Katy from all these people. Hotline Bling was a meme music video, Bad Blood was forced.
Blank Space is my favourite, literally god-tier. Wildest Dreams 2nd, OOTW 3rd. Bad Blood 4th, Style 5th and Shake It Off 6th. The only thing I love in Shake It Off are the cheerleader scenes, as it is a nice nod to her past self.
I can respect the beef side of it, I even like hip hop a lot. I think it was a power move by tay because ofc she has a bigger squad and katy is shit tier now.
If I had it my way all of her videos would be tied with the exception of Shake It Off just because it was the first single. I wish she did a video for every song and told the album that way but I understand the idea that it isn't commercially viable to do so.
Making them coherent would be cool but it'd be difficult and yes a video for each song would be cool but no way the can justify that and a lot of people would get sick of her real quick.
Even though they just told Tay to do whatever she felt like in the Shake It Off music video it's too much all over the place.
Literally the only good thing is the cheerleader scene, that did gave me the feels man.
