My father is a Christian, for him that means helping the poor and connecting with God. For the Christfag it means bashing any historical or philosophical figures they feel threatened by and constantly reminding them of how wrong everyone else is. The resurgence of religion in 4chan has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen happen. I remember back in the 2000s when 4chan was full of arrogant new atheists and thinking half-jokingly that the site is so contrarian, its users would soon turn to Christianity out of no reason other than a desire to differentiate themselves from the "popular" ideology. It's been pretty wild to see that prediction unironically come true.

The thing about oldfaggotry is it's not about being on 4chan a certain number of years. A lot of newfags think they've been on 4chan a few years and stop being a newfag. Being an oldfag is about having been on 4chan during the golden age of 4chan. Coincidentally, 4chan going downhill coincides around the time 'newfag' was coined and started to be used by newfags who didn't understand 4chan and just accused everyone of being a newfag when they were wrong or didn't get a meme. So basically, to be an old fag, you would have had to been an oldfag from the start, browsing 4chan when the term oldfag was coined. If you started browsing 4chan after newfag and oldfag were commonly used, you're a newfag. It's more like being part of a certain generation, it's not a status you lose over time.
