Give me the most breath taking, impacting photos you have. If you can provide them, stories preferred.
Crew member in a German sub, 1916
Is this the greatest propaganda photo? (and obviously for the reasons OP outlined).
A personal favorite, story unknown. It would help if you could tell me.

Excellent photo, but seems staged to me...

Oh, my bad. For some reason that passed me.

What are the odds a sniper took him down literally just after that photo got taken? Kinda like that bit in Saving Private Ryan

It is too much for me I'm sorry.
Cringiest shit I've ever read. We don't ascribe any other actions to any other animal or even primate, "evil."
Genocide and indiscriminate killing is what animals do. Soft faggots like you just seem to think we're the special snowflakes of all organisms.
I am unironically advising you to go back to /lit/ or /g/ or Reddit because that's the only reasonable explanation why you post like such a cunt
They did drag and beat some of them. No lynching though. Mostly just rounded them up and took them to jail, since others were watching and there usually was another wave waiting to take their place.
You people so out of touch with reality can call anything true, edgy, and seem to think that discredits it. Homo sapiens sapiens aren't some highly evolved, non-violent, perfected creature that rises above everything gritty and real in the world. That's the truth. War and massacres are a part of human nature because its in the nature of animals.
Here's your formal invitation to go back to >>>/lit/

USAAF B-24 Liberator bomber "Little Warrior" on fire above Germany, 1944. Moments later the bomber exploded, killing all but one of the crew, who apparently lost his life at the hands of the Germans after parachuting down.

Soviet soldiers march over a swastika flag into captured Vienna, 1945.
where am I wrong? It's not some observation I made, its nothing philosophical, its grounded in DNA, biology, and evolution.
Now, if I said, "everyone is born a heterosexual atheist," that would be a naturalist fallacy because its totally ungrounded.

A bomber that drifted out of formation trying, and failing, to get back in formation. The aircraft was lost with all hands after it entered a spin.
You clearly have no idea what a fallacy fallacy is and failed to understand what a naturalistic fallacy is.
I suggest you go back and have a look at both and stop being an edgy little boy.
Why are Jews so fucking ugly? I know that guy went through a lot of shit but he looks so..weak. If I saw that guy when we were in elementary school I'd want to bully him and steal his lunch money.
Is there something wrong with me?

Execution of Germans accused of war crimes, and their Ukrainian collaborators in Kiev.
You know what would happen massive outrage and jailtime. Of course, that's because we have both professional armies and a culture with a high degree of self-loathing, which translates to demonising our own soldiers as heartless killers.
I'm European, and it's pretty bad, here. We had one public proscecutor who tried to put a soldier in jail for the unconfirmed killing of some civvy in Iraq. Dude got off the plane, and was dragged into court by one of those holier-than-thou pricks who would call a suicide bombing an "act of defense".
Pic sorta related. It all changed after this shit.
>implying I was even part of this discussion
No nignog, the simple fact is: If you think you can say anything by comparing human beings to ants, you are fucking retarded. And you ARE trying to say something, because you claim it's proof that killing and genocide is genetically part of the human organism.
But ants also have fucking exeskeletons and six limbs, which are NOT part of the human makeup. They're too different from us the make claims, you dumb cunt.
Belgian Germans welcome German troops with beer and chocolate in 1940.
Soviets and Brits setting up Iran to become the hellhole it is today.
Well you done made yourself a part of the argument Cletus, so you better be ready for those (You)s, boy!
Anyways, the premise of my argument was that other animals (and evidently insects) will kill each other for the exact same reasons, but for some reason, sheltered people like the anon I originally responded to think that only people exhibit this sort of behavior, which is false. Me using an example in insects isn't bad either, it doesn't invalidate the fact that non-human animals do it, and it just might even make a good case for such acts being universal in nature too.

Glorious socialist society, where everyone is equal and tyranny no longer exists.
Since you asked reasonably I am going to explain, but this will be my last reply. I'm not going to get into a great big long winded argument with someone who, I sincerely hope, is being deliberately silly.
A fallacy fallacy is trying to build a specific argument based on nothing except using someone else's poor argument. So for example if someone claimed Big Macs are unhealthy because they have lettuce in them and I then said this proves Big Macs are healthy because they made a stupid argument this would be a fallacy fallacy. It isn't some catch all come back when someone points out you have made a logical fallacy. I haven't tried to build any sort of case for a moral system based on nothing but your shitty argument being wrong. I will save discussion of moral systems for a thread that isn't about photos, I've just pointed out you are making a fallacy. No fallacy fallacy has been made.
A naturalistic fallacy takes the form of...
>X is true according to nature.
>Therefore, X is morally right.
You are saying X (genocide etc) is true in nature (ants and apes do it!). Therefore genocide etc is morally right.
I don't think anyone ever claimed that genocide and killing are morally right, everyone is responding to the question of 'why do humans kill?'. People are arguing that those things aren't something humanity has a monopoly on.
I'm not this guy but
>>593934 is right, I didn't once mention that genocide was "right" or "good" just that it is what it is, and is silly to think people are evil for doing something that comes to us naturally, like in other creatures. We're the only ones that seem to be conflicted about it, which was why I was so initially upset.
Wounded Soviet POW crawls towards the Germans at the battle of Kursk.
I can see what he's trying to say, and I think it's a fair comparison.
This sort of thing predates ants or humans, and one way or another we will find ways to kill one another whether it is with spears, swords, guns, or red tape and paperwork.
Not saying it's an entirely accurate assessment, but I see what he is saying.
What if a whole country decides to be the most "evil" people on the planet, so evil that every other country all agrees that they are evil, and they wont stop until their dead, Is genocide morally right then?
>not blaming the Americans for sponsoring the coup that destroyed one of the most liberal Arab countries in the 70's
Well ok then
Bromberg Poland 3rd or 4th September 1939, couple days after German invasion Poles started executing their own German minority. So they are Polish citizens and they are being executed by Poles. Around 250 ethnic Germans were massacred, around 80 Poles who intervened were also shot, along with 20 or so Polish army deserters. Few days later Germans took over and killed around 800 Poles and 300 Jews in reprisal.
That would depend on rank of soldier. If it was lance corporal, dishonorable discharge, possible jail time. If it was major, he would probably get meritorious service medal.
>We didnt execute our prisoners, we had supply lines safe enough to keep them alive as hostages. Looks like shes just fucking with him.
It's not POW until it's registered at battalion level. Depending on unit, US Army shot between 10% and 50% of surrendering enemies before they were registered as POW's on much more civilized European Theater of Operations.
better than this? No.
>soldier heartlessly kills a civilian
>is demonized as a heartless killer because of self loathing
Yeah, no. What we have is the law of armed conflict. We must abide by the law of armed conflict because that's what makes us the good guys.
Who thought this picture was appropriate?
'Hey mate, ur buddy just died next to you but instead of taking his body away could you please pose looking sad in the background while i take this rad photo'
1972, two childhood friends reunite on the different sides of a demonstration
When the fuck has battlefield photography ever been about what's appropriate? It's about documenting the war. All of it.
You understand the photographer was most likely scared shitless he could die at any second while doing his job, yea?
>no one has posted the ww2 deportation of jews pic with mlp ponies shopped in and the sperg saying how it makes the scene more emotional
i would post it but i cant find it anymore
because we're animals with fancier clothing (and broad nails) and nothing else.
in other to become the ubermensch and cut our ties to the animal kingdom we'll need to abolish hierarchies and supersticion and most of our shitty features like the desire to kill each other will vanish along with it...
no idea, but they used to be absolute madmen to the point of wrecking roman units without much trouble... but their best men probably died in battle while the snakes in the grass fled back to their lair thus giving us the modern jew
>implying human social dynamics and animal social dynamics are the same
>but your honour, I killed him because it is in my DNA.
>Say no more, innocent! Case closed!
You're being edgy, and you got called out on it. Concede, and think about your argument rather than getting defensive. You're anonymous, stop taking it so personally.
bringing severed parts of enemies back home or at the barracks for braging rights it's something as ancient as humanity itself, needless to say it was abolished once we got "civilized"
>pic related - head hunting: the most fierce of those fuckers could end a battle with twice is weight on fucking heads - which may or may not include the heads of "friendly" soldiers since they got paid extra bonus per head according to their rank and the rank of the dead
>How's that bacteria living on your skin that you're naturally killing off going? Or the plant you killed to eat?
Your definition of evil is absurd.
not to mention the way they verified the rank of the soldier - which was by how fancy he was.
so you could just pick a random guy dead on the ground, cut his head off and look for a fancy helmet that someone dropped during the actual battle to put on him
Something about the way you can't see the standing guys face, plus his boots, always gets me.
Kent State Shooting.
Anyone have the pic of the japanese nationalist asassinating some politician?
You know that "Bromberg Blood Bath" is most likely made up? I believe it was conclusively stated by German historians that German causalities were a combination of German militiamen attacking Polish troops whom they mistakenly believed to be retreating and German civilian victims of German bombardment of the city.
>tfw no Ottoman Constantinople
>It's a beautiful, though tragic, city.
Not really a photo. From Bitter Lake, originally BBC archival footage filmed during the War in Afghanistan.
The other guy is indeed a tryhard edgy fuckwit, but you're confusing the naturalistic fallacy with a fallacious appeal to nature.
wat. Iran was the strongest ally in the region, besides Israel and Turkey. We gave the Shah shit tons of weaponry and funds. If your looking to place blame put it on the CIA operatives who orchestrated a coup against Mossadegh in 1951 in favor of the Shah.
Nah senpai see humans are different because we have higher brain functions- in other words, the ability to discern what is good and evil. We are not mindless creatures of habit, even though that is a large component. Free will gives humans, more than any other animal, the ability to act on good or evil intentions.
>You know that "Bromberg Blood Bath" is most likely made up?
Nazis didn't spew out their propaganda from nothing and poles weren't exactly saints either. The fact that German reprisals were ten times as bloody doesn't change the fact that Poles too were fine with murdering minorities.
After almost six years of frustrated attempts on bringing justice, Pablo Escobar Gaviria was killed on the rooftop of his last hideaway by the colombian police in 1993

This photograph is the first photographic evidence of what we refer to as the "Predator".
Holy crackers, that's a new one on me. Sexy mugshot? Check? Vintage-looking side-matter? Check.
My father is no loon, a sensible American. He has told me, more than once, that if he had been in command the day after Goering's suicide, he would have ordered that already-dead body HANGED ANYWAY. The point being, that YOU DO NOT ESCAPE AMERICAN JUSTICE. YOU ARE NOT EXCUSED. BY GOD, YOUR BODY WILL HANG, AND BE KNOWN TO HAVE HANGED.
Speaking of which. This is a pretty impactful shot in American history.
>Nazis didn't spew out their propaganda from nothing
Actually, they did. The interwar period was a bad time to be a member of an ethnic minority. But actually the German minority in Poland was relatively the best treated minority in Europe. Precisely because the Germans were quick to use any real of perceived violations of ethnic Germans' rights to raise an irredentist case against Poland. Poles weren't saints, that's right. It sucked to be an Ukrainian in Poland for example. But being an ethnic German was actually pretty good, as evidenced by the number of German newspapers, schools, organisations, political parties, MPs and Senators. As the war came closer, Poland took even more measures to ensure that Germany has nothing to put forward as a case against Poland. So yes, those massacres supposedly committed against ethnic Germans were made up. They have been long abandoned by any academic historians and continue to live only on the Internet, perpetuated and spread by /pol/-minded retards.
It's stil amazing. You fuck'em up in WWI, they stand up. Totally fucked in WWII, almost entirely country destroyed. They stand up and twenty years later Germany is not only economicaly sustainable but also on the way to become the most influential country of Europe.
Fuck, they are doing something right...
pipes are probably the ultimate musical instrument - you can make it sound like you're killing a pig or you can make the most heart warming instrumentals that will make bearded men cry.

Wrong ni chan, good and evil are just based on social compliances of which most cases are based on religion. We ARE creatures of habit, only we are fulfilling these habits in a complex social bubble. Any human can be convinced to break its moral compass when the stage is set well enough.
It's hard to tell how she's feeling, is she afraid, defiant, curious?
Whatever the case is, it always serves as a reminder of the horrors of war and how it rob childhoods.
