True fact: American Communists played a notable role in the struggle against slavery.
From Philip S. Foner biographical introduction to Friedrich A. Sorge's "Labor Movement in the United States":
>The Communist Club of New York was not only the first Marxist organization in the Western Hemisphere; it was the only socialist (and labor) organization that invited blacks to join as equal members. Its constitution required all members to "recognize the complete equality of all persons—no matter of whatever color or sex." The club was also in the forefront of the struggle against slavery, and its members played an important role in mobilizing the German-American workers in opposition to the "peculiar institution." ....
>By 1860, these workers had become committed to a radical antislavery position. Moreover, men like Weydemeyer, Douai, and members of the Communist Club, including Sorge, formed a significant force in the Republican Party, seeking to push the party in a more radical direction, particularly in the direction of favoring the total abolition of slavery.
>When the Civil War began with the attack on Fort Sumter, most of the German radical organizations disbanded because the majority of their members enlisted in the Union forces. The New York Communist Club did not meet for the duration of the war since most of its members had joined the Union army.
>Ismail shows up to shit up another historical board with Albanian Internet Defence Force autism
And I'm a fucking tankie, seriously get back to your fucking bunkers already and stop shitposting on all these boards with muh infinite cherry picked quotes to prove le Hoxha was best leader ever XDDDDDDDDD
Except that the author, Ismail, who scanned the works (which at least are of decent quality for gommies such as myself or those who want to take a critical view) is an autist who routinely poisons.everything he touches and pops up everywhere to shill for Hoxha aka the ebin bunker man who was glorious socialist who made 700 000 useless bunkers in his countries despite the fact his regular army, let alone militias, had huge ammo shortages
He basically comes.into a community to shill for the 10K autistic forums he sets up with games that always blow up due to infighting and his personal autistic bitch fits
Hell also post text walls of cherrypicked quoted claiming Albania was the best country ever. And tje funny thing is I actually agree with half his politics I just hate the fact that he shows up on every board ever to carry out this campaign of shilling until peiple are sick of it
A few places he went were revleft (a shithole), /leftypol/ (also actually a shithole), and a few other places. But he won't stop popping up to shill for his Albanian husband
He even took over /Marx/ the tankie board on four times two Chan and turned it into an Albanian wankfest where even trying to raise a conflicting opinion gets you bombarded with quotes and other faggotry
He doesn't tripfag but his posting style is so distinctive one can tell defeating the purpose of anonymity
>10K autistic forums he sets up with games that always blow up due to infighting
is that a reference to eregime?
i dont post on it because forum games are not cool but that has been around since 2012
anyway this thread seems bunker-free so writing a long screed against a silly person probably isnt necessary
Wait for the bunkers
Theyre coming to this board soon
Eregime.has been around a while but from my limited knowledge has had a purge and mass ban every few years and as such became largely inactive
>but from my limited knowledge has had a purge and mass ban every few years and as such became largely inactive
this is it? http://z13.invisionfree.com/eRegime/index.php?act=idx
doesnt seem inactive to me, seems pretty active for a forum whose layout and software looks like it came out in 2002
There would have to be more than five of them in order for them to play any meaningful role. Didn't your mother tell you that it's not nice to take credit for what other people do?
>There would have to be more than five of them in order for them to play any meaningful role.
The Communist Club had more than five members and individuals can make a great impact on events even if they belong to small groups.
From "Joseph Weydemeyer: Pioneer of American Socialism" (one of the PDFs in the OP):
>As representative of the Workers' Society, Weydemeyer took part in the so-called Deutsches Haus Conference, called at the initiative of the German-American societies and held in Chicago on May 14-15, 1860, just before the Republican National Convention in that city. This conference agreed on the German-American demands to be put forward at the Republican National Convention as a basis for German-American support in the election. Today there is evidence to show that this Deutsches Haus Conference had decisive influence in naming Abraham Lincoln the Presidential candidate of the Republican Party.
Albania is a shit hole, and communism was a contributing factor to its shitholyness
Yo. It's the guy who's been calling people tankies in this entire thread. You guys fucking suck just as much dick as OP. However, you already have a board for your unique brand of faggotry.
>It's the guy who's been calling people tankies in this entire thread. You guys fucking suck just as much dick as OP.
why are you even using the term "tankies" in this thread, what does that term (which refers to soviet fanboys) have to do with talking about the american civil war or something
I don't know what faggotry you are talking about.
Marxism, is defiantly faggotry.
Not even a stormfag.
But it pisses you marxist shits off.
You're denying that Jewish groups, like the Polish bund, are not significant parts of communist organizations or movements?
I don't really care about 9/11. Just a product of globalism and overtones from the French Revolution.
>You're denying that Jewish groups, like the Polish bund, are not significant parts of communist organizations or movements?
Considering that the Bolsheviks shit all over the Bund and other Zionist groups, as did German and Polish communists (including Rosa Luxemburg, a Jew), yes.
Originally the Bund was associated with the Russian Social-Democratic Labour Party (which split into the Bolshevik and Menshevik factions), however...
>The Fourth Congress of the Bund (April 1901) demanded a reorganization of the RSDLP on federal principles. The opportunistic position and the nationalist tendencies of the Bund were sharply criticized by V. I. Lenin and the editors of Iskra. At the Second Congress of the RSDLP (1903), the Bundists fought for the federal principle in party organization, that is, the division of the party according to nationality. The Bund demanded to be recognized as the sole representative of the Jewish workers in the RSDLP. When the Bund’s claims were rejected, it left the RSDLP and allied itself with the Zionist movement of Poale Zion. V. I. Lenin, in the article “Does the Jewish Proletariat Need an ’Independent Political Party’ ” (1903), resolutely unmasked the harm of the nationalism preached by the Bund.
>Under the impact of the general revolutionary upheaval, the Bund rejoined the RSDLP at the Fourth Congress of the RSDLP (the Unity Congress, 1906), but it adopted Men-shevik positions on all questions... To the demand of the Bolshevik program on the right of nations to self-determination, the Bund opposed the demand (at the Sixth Congress of the Bund in 1905) of national cultural autonomy, which contributed to disunity among the forces of the proletariat. In the years of the Stolypin reaction, the Bund supported the liquidators and L. D. Trotsky. The Sixth (Prague) All-Russian Conference of the RSDLP (1912) expelled the Bundists from the party, along with other opportunists. During World War I (1914-18), the Bund adopted social chauvinistic positions. After the February Revolution of 1917, the Bundists joined the Mensheviks, supported the counterrevolutionary Provisional Government, and fought against the Bolshevik policy of transition to the socialist revolution.
name a single CPUSA member responsible for "Cultural Marxism"
I mention CPUSA because they were subsidized to the tune of millions of dollars every year by the Soviets until 1990 or so.
I wonder what they thought of August Willich.
Before he became a US general the guy wanted to kill Marx in a duel for being too conservative.
>Born Nov. 19, 1810, in Poznan; died Jan. 22, 1878, in St. Mary, Ohio, USA. Participant in the German workers’ movement and head of a sectarian ultra-leftist faction in the Communist League.
>Willich joined the Prussian Army in 1828 and was promoted to the rank of officer. In 1847 he retired because of his political convictions. He joined the Communist League during the same year. Willich was one of the organizers of the popular demonstration in Cologne on Mar. 3, 1848. During the Baden-Pfalz Uprising of 1849 he commanded a major detachment of volunteers in which Engels fought. In 1850, Willich and K. Schapper led a sectarian petit bourgeois faction that covered its antiproletarian views with ultraleftist phraseology. He was one of the persons responsible for the split of the Communist League in September 1850, after which he led a separate organization that lasted until 1853. During the Cologne trial of Communists in 1852, Willich’s adventuristic actions were taken advantage of by the Prussian police. In 1853, Willich emigrated to the USA and fought there in the Civil War (1861-65) on the side of the North with the rank of brigadier general.
That, by the way, is from the "Great Soviet Encyclopedia" of the 1970's.
Apparently by the time the Civil War broke out Willich and Marx mended their relationship with Willich conceding in favor of Marx's views, so he's usually listed by Marxists among the Communists who fought in the Union Army together with Weydemeyer, Jacobi, etc.
