Even though it was never produced, the American Project Pluto/Supersonic Low Altitude Missile was hilariously horrible thing.

>nuclear powered ramjet cruise missile

>because of its nuclear engine, it has an estimated range of roughly 113,000 miles (182,000 km)

>equipped with multiple (between 14 and 26) thermonuclear warheads which would be ejected one by one as the missile flew over its assigned targets

>because of the low altitudes it would be flying at, the sonic waves caused by its passing would damage ground installations and injure/kill people

>oh, and because the nuclear reactor used to power it would be unshielded, it would fucking bleed radiation all over the place, wherever it went, which would sicken, injure, or kill living things beneath the flight path; the stream of fallout left in its wake would poison enemy territory

>as a grand finale, it would crash in some strategically selected place and cause intense radioactive contamination in the target area

Sadly/luckily it was declared obsolete before leaving the initial design and testing phase, due to the advent of ICBMs and partially also advances in defensive ground radar.

Here are some absurdly large guns for you OP

First up is the mother of all mortars: Little David.

this 42-ton monstrosity shot a 914 mm bullet up to 10 kilometers

The mortar was capable of being driven around in a truck and dug in and reinforced on-site and, with adequate labor, being ready to fire in 12 hours.

It never saw combat, and was mainly designed to test launching mechanics for possibly larger bombs and guns, but the end of WWII came before the work on it could be useful.

holy fuck, sounds like some videogame boss weapon.

But the most impressive fucking giant gun would be the German railway cannon, shooting 800 mm bullets (although much heavier and longer than the Little David's 914mm) nearly 50 kilometers.

These were so enormous that four parallel railway tracks in a giant semicircle were required for aiming and kickback of this 1,350-ton weapon

Look up Big Babylon. Mr.Sadam thought he could shoot down US satalites. It sucked because we never really know if the gun could actually shoot down satalites.
Also, the man who put it togeather was killed by Mossad. So fuck them.

No mention of the Helepolis yet?

>Ridiculous ancient siege weapon.
>Do we want a siege tower to climb over the walls?
>Or maybe a ram to break down the gate?
>Or how about a battery of 16 catapults to bash down wall weak points or towers?
>I KNOW! LET'S BUILD SOMETHING THAT DOES ALL OF THESE THINGS AT ONCE!
>Oh wait, it's too heavy and slow to actually do anything.
>Gets stuck in the mud.

When the siege was over, the Rhodians (?) sold it for scrap and it raised a significant amount of money for the Colossus.

They saw/read somewhereonce that they had to leave one at a battle because it was heavy, inefficient and cumbersome to move and haul back
