I like these propagandas because they reveal the degree of understanding the German's had of Allied capabilities - aknowledging their superiority but not to the amount they actually were dominant. If you read it in the context of Germany's actual strategic weaknesses and Allied strengths, you wonder how no one got the true picture of the war - read between the lines.

For instance, the Aircraft Carrier/Submarine gag while heavily implying the superiority of the German Uboat taking on the mighty US Navy - can also be read as recognition of Allied technological superiority too. The Allies had carriers while Germany did not (projects do not count), Gee, How come the enemy has all these carriers when all we can make is uboats?

The second one comically illustrates the deliberate delusion about the war situation. It mocks the very real allied domination by the use of a twist ending - where a fitting bomb puts an end to the celebration. Its like "Fuck you, we can't come up with any good news of our own to counter your success stories, boom, I just blew up your theater, I win"
