What determines whether or not a country has a good economy? It seems almost random.
>>2891395
Neoliberalism brings economic prosperity.
Economy is a spook. People need happiness, however they get that through money so that's why it's necessary.
investment grade, controlled inflation, access to markets etc.
Time it took for God to create universe: 7 days
Size of observable universe: 13 million light years
This means something happened 13 million light years away for it's light to take 13 million years to reach Earth.
Explain this.
>>2891262
Well, technically it only took a day to add in the celestial bodies according to scripture. After the Earth was made. The Jews in caves writing this shit obviously didn't know about time and space, matter and energy, so they didn't offer an explanation.
No, but I know the score

Some fool-ass ladder. Well, good luck.
The Christian explanation would be something along the lines of "well, time was measured differently then" or "our time doesn't apply to god"
the real explanation is that g*d doesn't exist

some talking point ideas:
Is the Bolshoi Ballet all its cracked up to be?
Are Russian ballet companies better than other nation's ballet companies?
Have you seen any ballets live? Which ones?
How do you feel about current trends in the ballet world?
Any unpopular opinions?
Bumping this. Last city I was in I was going to the orchestra every week or two when the season tempo was up but I have not yet got the chance to go to a ballet performance yet, now I'm in the middle of nowhere I have to live vicariously through others.
1/?
>Are Russian ballet companies better than other nation's ballet companies?
The Bolshoi is an excellent company, Marinsky used to be great but is now ruined by politics, and other than that Russian companies are not especially noteworthy. There are some very hit-and-miss Russian companies (Russian National Ballet Theatre and Moscow Festival Ballet) that tour around the USA doing performances to pre-recorded music that are either serviceable or horrid, depending on the day.
>Have you seen any ballets live? Which ones?
Yes! Quite a few considering that ballet is hard to come by in my area. There was a dry spell of almost 8 years where no professional companies outside of a touring Nutcracker came around, though in the past few years ballet is once again incorporated as a regular part of the opera theater season. Notably, I've seen ABT's reconstructed Sleeping Beauty, Houston Ballet's Giselle (the pre-Welch version), ABT's Whipped Cream, Hamburg Ballet's Nutcracker, and I just saw ABT's Giselle with Sarah Lane which was one of the best theater experiences of my life. Aside from those performances, I try to catch whatever shows the local ballet company is putting on. They recently got some government funding through an arts endowment program and it showed in their new costumes, sets and expanded production. If they'd just stop using copyrighted character names and occasionally even music (what are they thinking???) they could
And other than live, I've seen a metric ton of pre-recorded ballet performances, both the ones that come out on DVD and the streamed live Bolshoi performances.
>How do you feel about current trends in the ballet world?
Depends on the trend! I love the reconstructed ballets that have been appearing in the past 10 years or so.
>>2891775
>Any unpopular opinions?
Does "I can't stand Misty Copeland's poor performances but I appreciate what she's done for the ballet world in terms of getting butts in the seats" count? She's going to be Juliet in 2 out of 4 shows when they bring Romeo & Juliet here next year and I'm hoping that by the time tickets go on sale to the public, they'll have the cast list up so I can avoid seeing her. The thought of having to watch an entire ballet where she's cheered to the rafters for mediocrity is not fun. It was bad enough seeing her dance Florine in Sleeping Beauty, though at least in that case I got to enjoy the barely constrained looks of annoyance on the other dancer's faces while they watched.
Also, people often talk about the Bolshoi Ballet being rife with corruption but its just as true for American companies, ie, the American Ballet Theatre. Dancers with sponsors get promoted despite not being able to perform the basic moves principal roles are expected to do, while other dancers are ignored for principal promotion again and again. And shit directors will often bring in guest dancers who have sponsors rather than choose people from their own company. Did you know that this season is the first time Gillian Murphy--GILLIAN. MURPHY.--has ever performed Giselle for ABT? That's a fucking tragedy.
If all muslim countrys reunited into one empire like it used to be, would this decrease the amount of terrorism, or increase? what other effects would it have on the world?

in theory decrease within the ME as the caliphate would be united, possible increase in Europe/India/SE Asia

What exactly is Corporatism in fascist theory?
A mostly free market with certain socialist elements, notably the nationalization of key industries and the shut-down or censure of any industry that harms the Nation.
>>2890787
That's not corporatism at all. That's fucking social democracy.
>>2890779
OP the idea of corporatism is that the entire economy is integrated into the totalitarian state. Not in the sense of a centrally planned economy but rather all industries are organized into singular bodies subordinate to the government but also through which the industry at large can be represented within the government. Hence the term "corporatism". The entirety of the nation both in state and in economy functions together as one body.

I'm sure the trick lies in that 'mostly'. The ones who use it in another ways are actually somewhat improving the system, but you can't honestly expect this to be done en masse

It seems to me it's an underrated aspect of civilisation.
Beer founded civilization.

>Eat bread to supplement nuts, berries, and game.
>Get whole family to grow wheat.
>Enough bread we can just live in this one place now.
>Get clan to grow wheat.
>We've got so much wheat, we can afford to turn some of it into beer!
>Get village to grow wheat.
>We have so much excess wheat, we HAVE to turn some of into beer.
>Build cities devoted to growing wheat.
>Half of the wheat harvested by the early Mesopotamians was fermented into beer.
It made leaders and/or commanders think boldly. It really did, and still does, play a massive part in our history.

Keep in mind it helped us survive too. Weak beer was safer to drink than water a lot of the time.
With the intellectual decline of universities in mind, do you think classical science will regroup somewhere else? Might science move to a corporate setting as a primary, maybe with it's own education programs etc? What will happen to the humanities?
In for potentially interesting thread. Personally I'm stumped but I can agree Uni students a thick as shit lol, it's actually worrisome.
Humanities will be moved to secret clubs of neckbeards who do nothing but to hate the jews.
