You could just as easily say that Persians looked like Eastern Romans.

Inglourious Basterds is an interesting film to me because any one scene from it - seriously, any 10-minute segment - plays like a fucking masterpiece. I was so excited for the rest of the movie after watching the first segment. But the movie overall doesn't hang together very well, something's off with the pacing. It's like 5 fucking fantastic short films with no momentum or narrative cohesion connecting them.

One thing I will say is that Tarantino does food porn like nobody else. That movie never fails to make me want a glass of scotch, strudel and espresso, or a tall glass of milk.
