Why is human history filled with so much violence? How do we stop violence and create a better world for everybody on Earth?
You start by making countries be friends, not enemies
>>2939904
We don't.
easy. just kill all the [insert race of your choice here]
I've recently visited Kiev and saw this memorial. I've spoken to people that deny the Holodomor & the food shortages and defend the slaughter of the kulaks.
Why do they believe this? Where do they get their information from? And have you ever debated somebody like that?
>>2939424
>I've spoken to people that deny the Holodomor
You did not.
>>2939424
I do not think anyone denies this, but perhaps kulaks should not have hoarded grain during a famine. It was simply proper punishment and to say that they were innocent victims is very dubious.
>>2939424
>Why do they believe this?
The same reason people deny genocides: it makes their ethnic group or ideology look bad.
>Where do they get their information from?
Communist propaganda. Not even meming.
>And have you ever debated somebody like that?
They pop up on /his/ all the time.
How did soldiers fighting a losing war against a far superior force pass the time when they know they're fucked?
The modern example would of be the 2003 American invasion of Iraq. but also say sieges back in the day when the garrison knew it was only a matter of time before getting slaughtered. What would they do in the long idle hours before inevitable butchery?
Well in the Vietnam war American troops would try to sleep at every possible opportunity to have as little time as possible to think about how they would be the laughing stock of their generation.

/k/ may have some insight.
The Iberians today are like, the rape babies of so many different groups. Lets see...
They got Gaul'd (If the Celtiberians are Gauls and not just Celtic influenced Iberians).
Roman'd
Visigoth'd
Moor'd
Am I missing anything? I assume if all the peoples of western Europe plus Muslim migrants all got homogenized together, they would all look and talk like Spaniards. Is there anything left of genuine Iberian civilization? Do we even know what their religion was like? Or language?
>>2931407
Carthage'd?
>>2931407
Vikings also raped through there
I anglo their women every summer
so anglo'd
I have a question for all the Germans browsing here.
Nowadays. What do you guys think about Hitler?
Must be weird teaching kids in Germany about German involvement in WW1-2 knowing most of the world saw you guys once as the bad guys.
>>2927351
I think he was just a guy with unusual genitalia.
fuck hitler, fuck nazis, and fuck people that obsess over it
I myself would shove my boot so far up hitler's ass that for once he would have something between his ears
>>2927501
leather is impermeable
Part Afghan myself and I don't get this shit. Some say we're kinda our own thing but idk. So what is it? Central Asian (yes IMO), South Asian (no IMO), or Middle Eastern (fuck no IMO)? I need answers.
Maybe Pashtuns are SA and Tajiks/others are CA? Does that even make sense to divide a country geographically based on ethnicity?
I'd say you're part of the Persian/Iranian sphere. As is half of Pakistan.
you´re greek man
>>2944679
Middle East is not geographical.
I think it's south-central, like Compton.
Does the term 'Mediterranean' have any linguistic or genetic value whatsoever? I see tards on pol talking about the 'Med' master race, when a swarthy spaniard has nothing in common with an equally swarthy Arab.
>>2944577
you should simply ignore pol, it's just that easy
go there and make your idea out of it yourself
>>2944577
Maybe a linguistic significance if you focus on Arabic and Latin.
>>2944577
>Does the term 'Mediterranean' have any linguistic or genetic value whatsoever?
NO.
Did the people of the 50's know that they were living in an era that people would love to live in, or feel nostalgic about (Not saying all people today feel this way). How do you know if you are indeed living in an era that people decades later will lust after? Are we in an era like that now?
There will be nostalgia for every era.
Believe it or not, there's already nostalgia for the 2000's.
>>2944471
I'm pretty sure the people in the 1950's would enjoyed the internet and not dying of cancer.
>>2944504
I'd rather die from cancer by 50/60 than live until 100 in this shit hole of a neutered, materialist society we live in today.
Is this possibly the biggest case of we wuzzing in human history?
>>2944128
>le jews aren't ancient hebrews maymay
Kys
>>2944128
"We wuz" needs to be word filtered
>>2944128
The 19th century unification of Italy was an even bigger example of wewuzing.
A state built by middle class daydreamers, largely forced upon the general population. Garibaldi was dismayed how often hostile was the common folk to his efforts.
For atheists,
what is the point of being "virtuous" if you're not gonna get any personal reward for it? like what's the point of giving charity to some random african organization if you're not gonna win anything?
what's the point of not cheating and stealing at every chance you get?
>>2943535
M8, even in Christianity, you're not supposed to be virtuous for personal gain.
>>2943535
Because I don't want to perform such anti-social behaviors. I have a belief in the intrinsic dignity of the human person, and want to uphold it for its own sake, not out of fear of punishment.
>>2943553
Seems like a spook senpai
What is the point of getting out of bed in the morning if nothing really matters?
Take it to the logical conclusion and live like diogenes.
>>2943431
Seeking a worldview where things do matter, and ditching your godless worldview that leaves you unable to get out of bed in the morning.
>>2943451
But what if you lack the ability to have faith?
Does Casear deserves to be looked upon as a "villain" or "bad guy" of history?
>>2943293
>JuliusCaesar.jpg
>picture of Augustus
What did he mean by this?
No. He's a hero.
>>2943293
Yes, but only because he ended the Republic, the best and most interesting period in Roman history.
When was the best time in history to live here?
>>2942940
anywhere is nice if you have money
>>2942940
As a whom?
If you are a member of the superwealthy elite, then perhaps the late Victorian area. You lived a carefree life and you took part in decision making that literally concerned the entire world. On the other hand, even elites weren't immune from dying from some disease that is easily treatable today.
If you are to be from the middle class or a poor pleb, this very time is the best time to live. Despite all problems, all your basic needs are covered. You aren't hungry, have access to health care and clean water.
>>2942940
Probably during the Cold War. A peaceful, homogeneous, high trust, low crime society that experienced rising prosperity on a fairly consistent basis.
Why do hindus worship rats?
>>2942788
Because rats and mice are god-tier animals.
They're like tiny dogs. A bit dumber, but pretty neato too.
What? Don't tell me you DON'T like them anon...
Because Ganesha hangs out with rats
>>2942788
It's not the only thing they worship.
They also worship Mother Theresa as one of Vishnu's wife
How great of an effect did woman have on the course and outcome of WWI?
As soldiers?
Fucking none.
Very great. Many women fought fiercely on every front and several prominent generals where women.
But of course you never read of this since the patriarchy buried it.
>Called into action against the Germans during the Kerensky Offensive, they were assigned to the 525th Kiuruk-Darinski Regiment and occupied a trench near Smorgon. Ordered to go over the top, the soldiers of the war weary men's battalions hesitated. The women, however, decided to go with or without them. Eventually they pushed past three trenches into German territory, where soldiers discovered a stash of vodka, which the women tried to break before they could be drunk. In his report, the commander of the regiment praised the women's battalion's initiative and courage.[8] However, relief units never arrived and they were eventually forced to retreat, losing all the ground gained in the offensive
Not enough to matter at that point
