Is life basically just one giant MLM scheme? The power structures in place are more less the same as they were 5000 years ago.
There is nothing more cringe-enducing than Americans trying to pronounce foreign names (german, french, etc)
Prove me wrong
>>3054828
Just as cringeworthy as spelling 'inducing' wrong
>>3054828
>imply le ebil amerikan obsessed kids aren't more cringy
There is a big full world out there, once you drop your america obsession you'll be able to explore it
And Germans and French mispronounce English words/names all the time. I don't see the problem. If the other person can understand you that's all that matters.
What was life like for "cavemen"? Were they always in groups? Were some of them loners?
>>3054821
Probably nerve wrecking. You always had to watch out for cannibals who could sneak up on you when you're sleeping. That's why doggos and friends were necessary.
>>3054833
Sounds spoopy
I'd be fucked for sure
>>3054811
It's inherently non-aligned.
Viewing it as good or evil is pagan/new age tier.
>>3054811
when you get older you will move past "good and evil"
no if u use it properly
"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
name one downside of this armor
protip:you can't
plated mail is best
>Enemy Titan throws throws lightning bolt
Good luck, scrub
>>3054809
it is pretty good but it is
1-heavy
2-for an infantry it doesn't provide much more defense than a simple chain-mail shirt would
as per seen especially with the ottoman examples the plate-mail eastern style armor was excellent for heavy cavalry but not so much for infantry especially during that particular period

Not much has changed but they lived under water.

Is pretty fine"

"France" in the year 2000
are there any compelling ones
ill take that as a no
I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly. I perceive that this also was a chasing at the wind.
For I found that had I known from an earlier age that it was my pursuit of permanent happiness and order that gave birth to all my misery and all my chaos, I would've lived like a king.
For me, it's the Kushan empire.
>>3054540
I think it was the Kushan Empire for others as well.
>Lockerbie bombing in 1988.
>Muammar Gaddafi take responsibility for attack.
>Will compensated victim if remove sanction from EU and remove from U.S list State Sponsors of Terrorism.
>After actually pay out to victim, agreed to compensated for other attack.
>U.S president sign
executive order for Libyan government immunity from terror-related lawsuits.
I have a feeling this shouln't be acceptable to do this. Can anyone explain the politics behind this please? I thought only Saudi can get away with it but I guess not.
Tell me about duels /his/. When they started, why they happened and why they stopped.
Also general information like etiquette and differences between cultures.
>tfw you will never be a dandy and duel to the death
pls respond
Couldn't find much online of the subject. Is this just myth?
>>3053863
/his/ is a really weird board. It's really interesting how discussion that starts in one thread branchs out through people making new threads about the same topic or just remaking the thread to meme about it.
Colombian I have no idea. Mesoamericans did ritual cannibalism as a symbolic representation of a god's story or as the proof they've ascended social class. It's much less common than sacrifice.
>>3053887
Well I think part of it is just that this board is the perfect speed to notice how ideas spread.
>>3053887
It usually translates on /his/ going trough a daily meme. Tho we usually see a lot of repeats.
>>3053863
from what I understand the "Caribbeans" were related to some Colombian tribe, but honestly I never heard of them outside of...Well.../his/...
There were cannibals in the Amazon (still are, actually) and in the Caribbean, the ones in the latter have been completely wiped out tho. Other than that i'm not aware of other cultures that practiced it regularly. The Aztecs did it ritualistically, but it wasn't common practice.
Is there any documented reactions from German Soldiers when they found out Hitler killed himself?
I'm interested to know what they thought about that. Personally, if I were in their shoes, I'd be furious.
>>3053760
I don't think they learned he killed himself until after the fighting ended. IIRC the German radio announced to the world that he was killed in battle leading his troops or something along those lines.
>>3053760
betrayal
they learned about Hitler's death hours after he an heroed
They fought on for over ten days.
>The good ones don't ever want to organize, the bad ones tend to want to organize because they lust after power. Powerful consciousnesses don't want to dominate other people, they want to empower them so they don't tend to get together until things are really late in the game, then they come together and evil is always defeated. Because good is so much stronger.
>>3053748
Yes. America is amazing. Thank you for describing us.
wtf, I want to fuck Leni now
What did ancient peoples thing of birds that could speak and mimic humans? I imagine it would be extraordinary thing for people from a simpler time to encounter.
>"wow, a talking bird!"
My name is Parrot, a byrd of Paradyse,
By Nature devised of a wonderowus kynde,
Deyntely dyeted with dyvers dylycate spyce,
Tyl Euphrates, that flode, dryveth me into Inde;
Where men of that countrey by fortune me fynde,
And send me to greate ladyes of estate;
Then Parot must have an almon or a date.
A cage curyously carven, with sylver pyn,
Properly paynted, to be my covertowre;
A myrrour of glasse, that I may toote therin;
These maidens ful mekely with many a divers flowre
Freshly they dresse, and make swete my bowre,
With, ‘Speke, Parrot, I pray you,’ full curtesly they say;
‘Parrot is a goodly byrd, a prety popagey.’
With my becke bent, my lyttyl wanton eye,
My fedders freshe as is the emrawde grene,
About my neck a cyrculet lyke the ryche rubye,
My lytyll leggys, my feet both fete and clene,
I am a mynyon to wayt uppon a quene;
‘My proper Parrot, my lyttyl prety foole.’
With ladyes I lerne, and go with them to scole.
‘Hagh, ha, ha, Parrot, ye can laugh pretyly!’
‘Parrot hath not dyned of al this long day;’
‘Lyke ower pus cate, Parrot can mewte and cry.’
In Lattyn, in Ebrew, Araby, and Caldey;
In Greke tong Parrot can bothe speke and say,
As Percyus, that poet, doth reporte of me,
Quis expedivit psittaco suum chaire?
Dowse French of Parryse Parrot can lerne,
Pronounsynge my purpose after my properte,
With, Perliez byen, Parrot, ou perlez rien;
With Douch, with Spanysh, my tong can agre;
In Englysh to God Parrot can supple:
Cryst save Kyng Henry the viii., our royall kyng,
The red rose honour to florysh and sprynge!
With Kateryne incomparable, our ryall quene also,
That pereles pomegarnet, Chryst save her noble grace!
Parrot, saves habler Castiliano,
With fidasso de cosso in Turkey and in Trace;
Vis consilii expers, as techith me Horace,
Mole ruit sua, whose dictes ar pregnaunte,
Soventez foys, Parrot, en sovenaunte.
