The arm of Hadrian.

If Ancient Greeks were so smart why didnt they invent the figet spinner?
Hadrian is going to build a wall and Caledonia is going to pay for it.
"Build the wall there. No! I said, right there!"
"Sir, you are pointing with two fingers in two directions."
"Put that man inside the wall!"

What does /his/ think of the league of nations?
>Inb4 /pol/tard drumpfies whine about globalism
it lacked the capacity to enforce sanctions on rogue states, say what you will about the UN security council being paralyzed to act because of competing interests of major world powers, but the league of nations was 100x worse
>>3058480
It was a different time in geopolitical terms, different context.
>>3058472
It meant well and it did do some good like
>preventing a war between Greece and Bulgaria
>preventing a war between Sweden and Finland
>fighting slavery around the world and stopping it
>improving children's rights and stopping child labour
>fighting disease and striving for medicine, it befriended the USSR because of its somewhat advanced disease prevention research
The league failed when it had to tackle an issue being caused by major world powers like Japan and Italy. It sat by and watched Italy annex Ethiopia and Japan take Manchukuo and then later invade China. Members who got into trouble simply just left and ignored the league and continued. If the US joined then it may have had more sway over powerful members and had been effective in stopping Italian, German and Japanese aggression.
One of the most important dates in world history. The first Chinese nuclear test. Before China went nuclear, the white race could have —had it wanted to —completely dominated or even annihilated the entire non-white world population. With the Chinese development of nuclear capability, that became impossible —most likely forever.
I love all these alt right 'race realists' who take joy in ironically debating non white genocide. Idk if you're one of them but if you are then I hope some Jews gang rape your children in front of you.
Americans and Germans ruin everything nice.
>>3058413
No, I'm not an alt-rightist nor do I take any joy in the thought of genocide. I'm just interested in realpolitik considerations. The Chinese development of nukes ended a chapter of white domination in world history.

I literally just realized how scary the American political religion is.
They literally have a political figure 'enshrined' in a manner that one would expect to see Zeus/Jupiter in their national capital.
I'm a Lutheran Protestant. It's basically like American Protestantism except it has a few more things in common with Catholicism. Look up a Lutheran mass for a good idea.
Any Catholics want to tell me why I'm wrong to be a Protestant? It just seems like the most accurate interpretation of the Bible.
>>3058250
Why do you worship Luther?
>I believe people should read and interpret the Bible as do I
>Oh Shit, why are people's interpretation of the Bible different than mine
>I believe people shouldn't go to Mass and be preached to by a priest
>Okay, guys, let's go to Mass and I will tell you all about how you're all going to hell
>Hello, Erasmus, let us be friends
>Oh, you don't want to be a Protestant? Go fuck yourself, and Jews too
t. Martin Luther-Father of Lies and Sower of Atheism and Creationism
Biblical supremacy is bad Christianity.
So uhhhh.....how long after world war ii did the various cities and towns in ruin become habitable again?
As a person who has worked construction before it really seems like a mind boggling amount of work, putting a city together again after something like this, I can not even fathom what a modern day reconstruction effort would look like.

Western Europe cleaned up at an amazingly fast pace.
A lot of credit can be given to the US and the Marshall Plan of assisting and funding the rebuilding of Europe. The US also straight up gave things such as transit assets like trolleys and subway cars, which both provided transportation and took care of one of many things that needed rebuilding at the time.
Eastern Europe rebuilt far slower, they had ruins all over Germany into the 1960s left over from the war, while they were long since cleared or rebuilt in West Germany.
It truly is astonishing how quickly Europe rebuilt.

It misses the point of John's gospel, and overwhelmingly destroys both soteriology amd eucharistic theology.
Also, it was largely championed by smelly visigoths over and against the legitimate religion of the roman state.

Why didn't the Royal Navy incorporate the captured German warships into their forces?
It seems scuttling them was a huge waste of materials, considering they had a world of colonies to keep after the war.
Forgive my lack of attention!
I'm referring to the post-WW1 period.
>>3057859
It would've looked bad. People would've taken it as an admission that German ships were better than British ships, and British ship building firms would've lost huge amounts of business building new ships for the navy.
>>3057898
Would it look so bad if they put those ships to good use, with british sailors, on, say, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, East Africa and other faraway colonies like these?
Whodunnit?

>The immense wealth of ancient Chinese literature is mostly a sphere apart from Western literary tradition and is rarely conveyed adequately in the translations available to us.
What did he mean by this?
Chinese literature is only relevant to fucking China. Western Literature is relevant to the entire world, because the Western World formed the world culture.
Sino-centrists are retarded
Only Chinese could read them. It's mostly Classical Chinese even.

Has the world always been as spiritually barren in romantic affairs as it is now? PUA/MRA subcultures and the popularity of porn, along with the increase in divorce rates and even the increasing presence and support of LGBT, exposes how romantically cold and barren we currently are. Physical pleasure with no spirit in it aside from gluttony and envy is raised to the highest rank in terms of what is desirable and good while intellect, personality, creative imagination, basically all other forms of communication between humans that are not entirely physical, are ranked way down. LGBT is the end conclusion of such a world: these people, who can't compete in such a world, end up identifying the spirit with the body alone and seeking to eliminate all bodily boundaries as a result in order to experience something romantic and warming.
Is this a necessary step in mankind's evolution? Or am I not looking at the bigger picture / overlooking where the spirit has now manifested in?
>>3057597
It was much worse than today. And what's wrong with LGBT? Are you saying their love is purely physical?
>>3057597
Romans were debaucherous. So were the Chinese and Japanese.
And so were the Muslims.
This Victorian prudeness is a modern meme.
>>3057621
>It was much worse than today.
Can you go into more detail?
>And what's wrong with LGBT? Are you saying their love is purely physical?
I'm saying its increasing presence is both a symptom and consequence of a spiritually barren romantic climate. It places too much importance on the physical body and some of its participants seek to eliminate the distance between the two polar ends, male and female, which are required for there to even be a higher spiritual romance.
