best book the learn operation art and design?
>>3069966
Definitely not pic related. It's really more about strategy, and even then it's only total war strategy analysis, not "softer" war strategy analysis.
If you want actual operational stuff, you're probably better off looking at various campaign write ups, stuff like this .

>tfw when Europe colonizing the world led to countrys being formed wich are 3 times the size of France.
Seriously though what is it with all Colonial nations creating gigantic countrys with their colonis. Brazil is preety much the US of South America. India is now finally united as one country because the British were too lazy to make artificial borders like in Africa. Im happy America got independent otherwise all of North America would most likely be a single country.
India isn't "fully united;" Pakistan & Bangladesh exist.

Where'd they get a substantial amount of non-salt water from?
Here me out: all modern languages developed organically, with essentially arbitrary sounds to represent everything and various grammar rules that caught on. Could our whole concept of what a language should be like wrong and inefficient, just because it's worked up to this point?
Would it be beneficial at some point in our evolution to completely redesign language so it allows for greater clarity, compression, and flexibility?
No, because the needs of language is constantly changing, and is actually diverse.

>Would it be beneficial at some point in our evolution to completely redesign language so it allows for greater clarity, compression, and flexibility?
You could try to force a new generation to speak an artificial language, but it would inevitably be subject to the same forces that cause natural languages to evolve. Pronunciations would shift, new words would emerge, and grammatical rules would change until it becomes as messy and inconsistent as any natural language.

What if the fourth crusade had not happened? Could they have reconquered the rest of Anatolia and Egypt?
>>3068736
No, the fourth crusade was a sign of how weak the byzantines had become.
>>3068736
>What if the fourth crusade had not happened? Could they have reconquered the rest of Anatolia
By they i think you mean Gr**ks
No lol, it was a stalemate, we (Turks) were constantly fighting against Byzantines, sometimes we won sometimes we lost, even after Turks defeated a large Byzantine/Crusader army at Myriokephalon, Turks managed to fuck up at Western Anatolia while raiding a Greek town and killing its inhabitants inside Byzantine borders.
Also Mongol invasion made more Turks/Turkmens to migrate to Anatolia and this new manpower influx made Turks to conquer new lands in Western Anatolia.
Probably not.
The empire was again falling apart after the Angeloi usurped the throne.
