Why do so many white people here try to white wash ancient middle easterners as white? Why cant they deal with the fact that the first human civilization wasnt build by white people? Why cant they deal with the fact that jesus was middle eastern and most likely a brown person?

The first literate civilizations were built by ancient Iraqis and Iranians (hurr durr muh migration affecting 5% of DNA) who are pretty brown and dark haired/eyed

And by brown Egyptians (Natufian stock) and East Dravidians (Indus valley), the first PALE/West European like civilization was Merovigian France or maybe Gauls but that's stretching it since they hardly were a civilization

The first dark pink civiliation were the Minoans

The first yellow civilization were the Shang

The first red (literate) civilization were the Olmecs

>Jesus was brown

Naaah, most likely dark pink or maybe really light brown, could be dark brown too but there's no way to know
>>
>>3164233
> dark pink
What.
>>
>>3164237
Most Europeans are dark pink, only Germanics, Fins, Hungarians and Northen Slavs are light pink/white on average

How easily can the case be made that in hunter-gatherer societies the individual was better off than in post Neolithic revolution agrarian societies?

>food quality went down
>this brought health down: worse teeth, bones
>agrarian dense populations also meant more diseases

And arguably:
>increased working time compared to hunter gatherer
>stratification of society: a controlling elite and a serving class, poverty
>wars
>taxes

Most populations didn't go from hunter gathering to an agrarian life style in an instant, in Europe, for instance, people hunter gathered and fished while practicing rudimentary agriculture and started practicing herding soon after
>>
>>3163976
Yes however that doesn't really answer the question.

It is my assumption that agrarian societies simply out-competed their hunter gatherer counterparts, but for individuals the shift was negative rather than positive.
>>
>>3163976

Nope. The spread of agriculture was through mass migration and exponential population growth.

Historically speaking, why are rabbits always depicted eating carrots? Where did the image of rabbits eating carrots come from?
42 posts and 5 images submitted.
>>
In the 1800's America they were called Buniggers and a carrot to them was like watermelon to niggers.
>>
Possibly from the australian rabbit infratation. Maybe they trashed those carrot gardens pretty bad. No idea though.

I don't understand why formation matters. Obviously the side with more well trained soldiers and better weapons would win.

Here's the trick, it is because they are well-trained that they are in formation.

Morale is everything bro. All that stuff you mentioned is secondary. What is in a man's heart and in his mind is what motivates him to great deeds, history-making deeds that is.

Why didn't the USSR invade America? Did they fear the American warrior?

Yes

That's also the same reason why the US didn't invade the USSR, as it happens; they feared the USSRian warrior

My friend was debating religions with me lately and stated that if religion has a leg to stand on in terms of magic being real, it's had thousands of years longer than science to organize and refine itself into one universally function set of rituals. I can't think of a valid refutation to the point since Faith's have intermingled for so long but still remain philosophically distinct.

I have a theory of metaphysics that seeks to prove itself through analytic rationalization. Hypothetically, if reality could be made into an abstraction, how would it be constructed? What would the informational structure of the universe be? Through this investigation, I have uncovered a necessary logical chain of events stemming from existence itself leading to the mind of God.

What does his think of reenactments? They seem quite stupid. They can never portray the largest parts of war which are the anguish, extreme suffering, death, destruction, and trauma. They also hardly ever have proportionate numbers of soldiers. WW2 events will always have 4 to 5 times as many Germans as Allies and Civil War events always have more Confederates than Union soldiers. This was hardly ever the case in real life. It's supposed to be about "educating" the public but what do they really learn? As seen last year when a German unit held a winter event in a German restaurant in Minneapolis. They simply had a private dinner event in which they dressed up in Nazi uniforms and ate German food. Also worth mentioning is the fact that many of these guys are fatasses. The Germans were some of the best soldiers of the war, hardly any of them would have ever been overweight, much less obese.

I enjoy them if done correctly to see fighting tactics and vehicles of the time period. Most reenactments are simply guys running about and shooting blanks at each other. I own many original and reproduction ww2 items including a k98 and appreciate reenactments on this level. But acting as though they are realistic is quite absurd.

What do you think about eugenics?
50 posts and 7 images submitted.
>>
You can't help you were born the way you were, a frog can't help that it was born a frog, a cat a cat, a dog a dog, and a retard a retard. Every creature is deserving of life.
>>
>>3162216
It's very pseudo-scientific, especially Galton's work which is very interesting desu.
He worked out that ancient Greeks were superior to his contemporary Englishmen who ranked very highly.
His methodology was compelling, by looking at a races propensity to produce great individuals. Trouble is, terms like "race" and "great", while they do have some intrinsic value and hard meaning are ultimately too subjective and charged.
Also there's the problem that a few great individuals can create circumstances whereby a higher proportion of individuals can come to fruition (Gutenberg makes it economically viable for a far greater share of society to be exposed to the written word), many men that we would define as great may have lived and died ignominiously due to any number of factors.

It's a dangerous subject, and I don't think you have to be a leftypol tumblrina to question the motives of someone who pursues it, maybe when we have formidable and impartial AI - we should ask it to explore the field.

This said, it's not complete bunk, it's still kind of practiced today; women in western nations are given the option to terminate a pregnancy if the signs of down-syndrome are there.
>>
I think eugenics happens every time someone goes to the dentist to remove rotten teeth, or a woman mates with a 6 ft 4 athlete instead of a 5 ft 6 balding manlet.

So, I guess I don't have much against eugenics, and even if I did, it would happen anyway.
