No. Not in the slightest.

Jesus, that's Richard the Lionheart's own personal suit of armor that he wore while riding down Saladin on a griffin during the first war on Mars! It's priceless!
They are legit garbage.
How can one determine the line between too little and too much tolerance? Does such a line exist?
No /pol/ stuff please.
Yelling fire in a crowded theater and yelling that you're fixing to unload your concealed slavshit weapon into a nigger's ass without provocation and without reason, in a public place.
That's it. Fuck your feelings; free speech is paramount to a top tier society.

Cool, I did not know that Popper made comics.
"not tolerating intolerance" is based on a suite of fallacies and not a single shred of credible reason
>WW1
>America waits until fucking 1917 to declare war on Germany
>Millions of people are already dead with Americans just sitting on the sidelines the whole time like jackasses
>Because of their apathy, the war lasts so long that Russia collapses and falls to communism.
>WW2
>America still doesn't learn its lesson
>Waits until one of its own harbors is bombed to declare war in 1941 when the war has already been going on for 2 years
>Again, Russia is forced to do most of the actual work.
Our "heroes" ladies and gentlemen.
>abloobloobloo please send million of yours to die when our IRL history museum has a pissing match

America is not obligated to seperate the autistic kids in Europe.
Ten ancient greek scholars of various fields suddenly materialize in the middle of your room. They look confused and surprised. Hearing them speak between themselves you also realize that you now can speak ancient greek. What do?
>>3264640
Show them /his/. Laugh at their suicide.
Show them Rick and Morty, as they all ready know God isn't reel they'll naturally love it.
>>3264640
I would probably beg the Ethics experts to start writing books. In this discipline they were better than we are today. We lost a lot of knowledge.
Would Europe have been a better place if France couldn't form a nation-state?
Why would you want a German Europe? Fuck off.
No. France, England, and Germany were the three best things to happen to Europe. Stops one from getting too powerful and dominating Europe.

Upper and Lower Burgundy make no sense on this map. "Upper Burgundy" is actually Duchy of Burgundy, and "Lower Burgundy" is actually Upper Burgundy.
>mfw I read The God Delusion
Is this really the best you got atheists?
Also, impromptu /catholic/ thread :^)

Who else here /roman rite only/? What can we do to reverse the spread of the novus ordo and restore the true mass to all of the faithful?
>>3264300
Unfortunately not, though I did go to my first solemn mass and it was probably the most ecstatic experience I've had in a long time. Too bad the archbishop ruined it by playing the victim card in his sermon.
Is there a resource or books out there that are dedicated to creating a historical timeline? I find that when I think about the past its almost impossble for me to divide up time periods in any meaningful fashion, and even when I'm reading about specific events where I know what the date is I can't picture what else is happening around that time. Even when I do something like looking at art I can't picture the period at all.
>>3263311
>I find that when I think about the past its almost impossble for me to divide up time periods in any meaningful fashion
Other people are going to call you autistic but I understand where you're coming from. This is the best periodization. I developed it myself for much the same reason.

Now that we had a movie about Dunkirk, will we get some more to depict all the brave and glorious evacuations/retreats that compose British military history?
I bet Nolan is on it
>>3262794
How good is the Dunkirk movie?
Might go see it today. I really would regret it, if it is just Anglo masturbation, though.
>>3264256
It's actually pretty good.
Spotted in my local museum.
Never have I felt so impotently angry
>>3262792
Well, I can sympathize, that's the most retarded periodization I've ever seen.
whats the problem here
all human classifications of time periods are going to be arbitrary by their very definition
>>3262792
What's the context?
Just purchased an authentic Soviet 1973 side cap, not to sure about the pin though, it's kinda shit if you know what I mean.
>>3262214

>What is Hinduism?
Hinduism is the oldest organized religion in the world. It is the Sanatana Dharma, the Eternal Law. It has no known origin and no founders - it is a synthesis of various Indian cultures and practices from as early as 4000 BCE.
Hinduism differs from Christianity and other Abrahamic religions in that it does not have:
>A single founder,
>A specific theological system,
>A single concept of deity,
>A single holy text,
>A single system of morality,
>A central religious authority,
>The concept of a prophet.
Hinduism is neither polytheistic, monotheistic, trinitarian or henotheistic, yet it is all at the same time.
The development of Hinduism was influenced by many invasions over thousands of years. The major influences occurred when nomadic "Aryan" Indo-European tribes invaded Northern India from the steppes of Russia and Central Asia. They brought with them their religion of Vedism. These beliefs mingled with the more advanced, indigenous Indian native beliefs, often called the "Indus valley culture."

>Political Significance of Hinduism in this Age
All the decadence of the world today has been predicted by Hinduism.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kali_Yuga
Prophesied events during a Kali Yuga
>Rulers will become unreasonable: they will levy taxes unfairly.
>Rulers will no longer see it as their duty to promote spirituality, or to protect their subjects: they will become a danger to the world.
>People will start migrating, seeking countries where wheat and barley form the staple food source.
>At the end of Kali-yuga, when there exist no topics on the subject of God, even at the residences of so-called saints and respectable gentlemen of the three higher varnas [temperament] and when nothing is known of the techniques of sacrifice, even by word, at that time the Lord will appear as the supreme chastiser.
Kali Yuga with regard to human relationships
>Avarice and wrath will be common. Humans will openly display animosity towards each other. Ignorance of dharma will occur.
>People will have thoughts of murder with no justification and will see nothing wrong in that.
>Lust will be viewed as socially acceptable and sexual intercourse will be seen as the central requirement of life.
>Sin will increase exponentially, while virtue will fade and cease to flourish.
>People will take vows and break them soon after.
>People will become addicted to intoxicating drinks and drugs.
>Teachers will no longer be respected and their students will attempt to injure them. Their teachings will be insulted, and followers of Kama(lust) will wrest control of the mind from all human beings.

As if France was the only one doing that in WW1, and as if Russia didn't do the exact same thing in WW2
was Bolivar autistically trying to paint the map of South America or was he just plain retarded?
did he really think south americans would just magically stop hating each other and become a superpower?

Hard to tell what someone else was thinking, but if I had to guess:
>"There's no way I'm gonna pull this off, but holy shit, if it actually works..."
Why is human existence so comical? It's just one big struggle where you die at the end and then it really doesn't even matter.
Who cares.
>>3261937
Yeah, so just live for the moment and die with a light heart.
>>3261937
