>Point this out at member of group, saying he should be responsible and call out the members who are chimpingout.
>Then point out he should critique his background/culture/whatever and see what makes it have so much dysfunction/chimping/whatever without blaming outsiders (such as the Jews/Whitey/Whatever)
>Member of group gets sore about beind told this

How can you excuse boasting of somebody else's accomplishments and overall shill your group yet get indignant at being told to take responsibilty for your group and actually look at it critically?

Why do people across this board defend technological development if such development has diminished the human need for language processing, and this is a board about history and humanities?

It was a big deal back in the medieval days, they didn't throw around the term empire the way we do today, there was only one empire, Rome, and the emperor was the rightful ruler of the entire planet. It was a big deal for Christianity who was emperor. So when did that die? The British called their realm an empire, so what changed to allow for that?

Or am I wrong about anything here?

Europe's current state of peace, industry, and democratic institutions did not occur randomly. Centuries of warfare, death, and overall terrible conditions marked the path to current success. From barbarian hordes ending West Rome, to mass religious warfare of the 16th and 17th centuries, to the large Napoleonic Wars and World Wars.

Thus it is a null argument to claim that non-Westerners are "inferior" for the state that they are in. After all, regions such as the Middle East are still on the path to success that Europe was once on. In fact, the religious warfare Europe experienced was extremely worse than the warfare we see in the Middle East (1/3 of Germany's population was lost to Christian infighting during the Thirty Years War). Relatively speaking, the Middle East is much more peaceful than Europe was when it faced the same conditions.

Furthermore, because regions such as the Middle East are still on this developmental path, it is imperative that democratic institutions not be forced upon them. As witnessed in European history, democratization occurred only after previous developments in thoughts of rights, ethics, and overall decentralization of power. Non-western states must develop such trends before making the hazardous leap into democracy if a stable is desired.

Whoever reads this please bear with me this is important. I am at college and I'm doing an important paperwork on the steganography don trittemius. I need BIBLIOGRAPHY. I've tried every single internet page searching for this matter. Including the data network in my university but there's no information about it. at least on what has to do whit human science. All I can find is info about informatics and protocols. I need your help finding institutional papers on this matter. Anything from history of the cryptography and steganography to this day. Biografic data von trittemius. Info about his books etc. please keep in mind all I have is what you see in Wikipedia and blogs. I NEED VALUABLE RESOURCES.
