I see there is so much anti-german on this thread. My english isn't perfect but allow me to explain.
When you say we germans are barbarians and savges its true. Yes we are barbarian because we can see through false limit and restraint on our life we dont necessarily need to live under false morality.
Want to live wihout the christian religion? No problem we do it god is dead.
Want to party and dance and create the music ? No problem we do it like savage make music with machines electronic because we not hold back by tradition music instruments

Want to walk around without the clothes? Go nude like we do? No problem its just nature we are at home in nature.
Need the land? Want there to be more german more industry, money and power in the world? We take, no problem.
We are not afraid to use war to reach our ends, we don't let go of our grudges till we punish our enemy like savage, like barbarian
We love just being in the nature, we love the beer to drink, we also take the drug but we also work hard live discipline life do everything thoroughly and efficient
We love the sport, good at it too.
We are free and wild but we are disciplined and noble too. We adventure the world, go all the way to australia outback not worry about border or limit, like we always have. Goth even went to africa. We are everywhere in world being polite and nice to you even though not smiling like fag, but also take the druk and party and if we want to be fag we can do too

Operation Typhoon was a mistake. Hitler should have spent autumn 1941 stabilising the Leningrad-Rostov line and let the red army bleed themselves in pointless attacks while he spent his energy reinforcing.
In 1942 instead of going for the south, he should have gone all out on Moscow, pulling every western division available, and attacked Moscow from the 3 fronts, north, west, and south.
The Russians would have never let Moscow fall easily, they would have committed every last reserve they have. Hitler could draw out all the red army reserves into a battle of annihilation, using superior tactics to destroy them like had done at Kiev.
With Moscow gone, soviet leadership would cease to function, he could then push the leningrad Rostov line eastwards effectively cutting off the Volga from both sides and encircling Stalingrad. The route from the heals would be cut off and all the Caucasus oil would be his. Russia would then be willing to discuss peace terms.

Firstly, much of what gets called "bad" is little more than doodlings in manuscripts. Secondly, we see a stylistic move away from realistic to representational. See the way that hands are generally sculpted in more elegant elongate forms over more squat realistic forms, something which clearly demonstrates a stylistic choice. In many areas of Europe there would have been a disruption of arts infrastructure with the ebb of the Roman Empire, that said what survives is heavily skewed towards manuscript drawings which are not representative of the whole.

hi, I'm having trouble understanding whose side Italy was on during ww2.
so this book I'm reading says that in 1943, Italy joined the allied forces, right, but I had always assumed that Italy was with Axis, all throughout that war. why did Italy start fighting Germany? was this a result of discontent with Mussolini's rule?
