Kutuzov seems like a military genius. Is he praised by people outside of Russia?
The rest of the world thinks he won because of muh winter meme
>>2545657
No.

He was just making it up as he went along
Why is the Anglo world so f*kn obsessed with Russia? They can't view Russia through the lense of anything other than "the great evil". Look at all their culture and publications, England throughout history has bent over backwards just to fuck over Russia should the opportunity come up. And Americans seem to love to blame every single one of their ills on Russia and have so much Cold War propaganda that tells people Russia is the evillest thing ever. Why?
>>2545468
>Why?
I think you now.

America is a gigantic human zoo anon, its populace is oblivious to how they are being trained like cattle to obey mindlessly.
Why is Muhammad so important in Islam, I haven't really been able to find a straight answer, why is he so revered if Jesus is the Messiah?
Why is the Quran mostly filled with his stories? How come he didn't go the way of moses?
>>2544986
He's the final prophet and the entire Hadith is so important because Muhammad told them that god said to always follow his example
Muhammad was fairly benevolent but also definitely used the religion as a means to acquire power and bitches
Mohammed is the messenger of God
>>2544999
He sure is Suleyman
At what point in human history did having short hair become a masculine trait?

The Roman army
about 350 BC
Women tend to better skilled in combat (armed, unarmed etc.)
Men can compensate with their superior strength and physical abilities
but the best woman fighter in the world could probably beat the best male fighter, because of her superior skill
the best women boxer could probably beat manny pacquiao
I'm assuming this is bait, but I'll bite.
Where are you getting the presumption that women are naturally more talented then men in combat skill?
I certainly doubt the best female fighter could beat the 5th best male fighter. Isn't there the instance of Serena or Venus Williams getting absolutely thrashed by some drunken french tennis player who was maybe bottom 180's in rank?
>>2544718
so your saying that the best woman boxer on the planet couldn't compete with Pacquiao?
>>2544724
I can say that I am pretty certain she would not win. Certainly not against Pacqiuo, and would probably die at the hands of Tyson in his prime. It's just not a fair comparison, and that's largely due to millions of years of evolution and sexual dichotomy that makes male primates stronger and faster. That's not saying women are "weaker" in a misogynist's sense of the word, our bodies just aren't the same.
I've been playing Axis and Allies recently, and it got me thinking. What are some of the things that the Nazis could/should have done in order to win? Other than not pissing off the US, of course. If the Nazis used different military strategies, could they have possibly won?
this post triggered me

it all comes down to beating the Soviets in time to bring the troops back west really. I think if they invaded the right positions and prepared for a longer stay they could have won.
Is J2 haplogroup the master race?

Once again showing how bad their social skills are

Can someone describe the idea of a straw man to me?
>>2542814
When you're arguing about what "they" say but nobody is actually arguing the points you're trying to bring into the conversation, thus making the strawman
It's basically when people go off and start bringing up shit that nobody was talking about

Making up bullshit in an argument to dicredit an opponent.
Is racism unchristian?

Moses' sister was cursed by God for being mean to Moses' dark skinned wife.
Some writers of the OT thought it would be unfair to judge Kushites by their skin color.
ITT: Historical red flags
I'll start with some obvious ones
>is a historical determinist
>is a marxist
>is a nationalist
>says that women contributed little throughout history
>buys into the great man theory
>buys fully into collectivist theories
>applies anachronistic ideas to the past (nationalism, modern racial theories, etc)
>isn't formally educated in history
>talks about how history comes in 'cycles'
>posts that 'hard men, hard times, weak men, good times' meme
>cares about the 'importance' of understanding history rather than just enjoying it for what it is
>buys into conspiracy theories about agendas leaking into academia
>main interest is the crusades
>main interest is WWII
>main interest is Nazi Germany
>judges socities on a very limited eurocentric scope (for example, going on about how the Aztec's didn't invent the wheel)
>obsessed with inventions
KEEP IN MIND that having hitting a few of these red flags doesn't make you a terrible historian; they're simply something to watch out for in people.
>Isn't objective
>>2536209
If wheels are Eurocentric, explain India.
>>2536209
>>cares about the 'importance' of understanding history rather than just enjoying it for what it is
But it is important, at least in the realm of politics and international relations.
It's like a fucking guide book.
Why were helmets phased out of mainstream military use for the couple of centuries following the medieval era?
And why were they suddenly re-instituted in the form of German pickelhaubes etc., becoming increasingly common/improved
during and following the First World War until becoming a staple of any military outfit as we see today? I'd recon a velvet hat
like in pic related with wouldn't fair very well against shrapnel or muskets. Was it a cultural thing?
Medieval armour was not suited to deal with firearms in the way that later WW1 era helmets were, and those designs did not exist in the era of pike and shot.
>>2549724
Helmets phased out with guns
Helmets phased back in with artillery
That's all, simple
Because in that period there was nothing that could stop a head wound from that which could wound the head, and in any case you'd end up being shot in the chest or the legs, the big parts, more than you would the head.
Shrapnel became a big issue because explosives + being in a trench meant most threats, assuming you weren't dumb enough to stick your head up, came from above, like shrapnel.
What was great about Vincent van Gogh?
He never used a paintbrush. All those.paintings were done with the tip of his semi hard dick.

Name a more overrated historical figure. Protip: you can't.
>inherit father's troops and wealth

>manage to take over Persia
>Call the old King's mother "Mom" and encourage your generals to marry Persians to purify your bloodline

I consider him the worst geopolitical figure in history. His entire "The End of History" idea which spread like a disease was beyond idiotic. It was beautifully idealistic, I will give him that much. But it was not realistic, not even close.
Basic idea; Western liberalism will triumph everywhere by the 2020. Just look at his recent talks on YouTube, he has changed his theories greatly.
Samuel P. Huntington was right
