Oh is this the World War II German Uniform Repost Thread? I can't wait for everyone to mention that it was totally designed by Hugo Boss again.
>>3314080
It...isn't, but, y'know, thanks for contributing.

kek decides
1) Why is the language situation so chaotic from Hungary to Alaska? How did these stranded language groups come about?
2) Does Siberia have the most extreme Mongoloid flat faces, or are these tribes often mixed with European genes
3) Does anyone else think that Russia doesn't "deserve" Siberia? They didn't have to work for that territory, Russia just happened to be the last European country with no neighbour to the East
>>3331648
Everyone in Russia pretty much speaks Russian. Maps like this greatly exaggerate the reality of the situation. Even in a place like Chechnya you're more likely to come across Russian speaking people and Russian language media than Chechen.
>>3331648
Eastern-Siberian and central Asians have quite a lot European admixture afaik.
Hungarians adopted nomadic culture from iranians and Turks and joined the western migration of nomadic tribes from the east, raped everyone they found in the Carpathian basin and pretty much disappeared from the gene pool afterwords, only their language remained, so there's that. Bulgarians did the same, only they totally lost their original Turkic language and adopted Slavic, Hungarians were more stubborn.
Was there really no difference between the Hutus and Tutsis?
>>3331614
Not really. Few cultural differences. Nothing that would excuse the genocide, its not like they were jews or something.
>>3331614
Tutsis are on average a foot taller than Hutus. The Rwandan genocide was a beta uprising.
There were probably some Hutus who have narrower features and some Tutsi with more sub Saharan features, but there probably was enough difference to actually enforce the decision to favor one based on the criterion used.
you have 10 seconds to explain to me how pic related is not a war crime
It was necessary, the Japanese wouldn't quit and the fear of the Soviet invading west Germany/Europe
Japs were the "victims".
>>3331329
That's not the question you want to ask, the question you want to ask if "So what if it was a war crime?"
Huh, anon, it says here you're into philosophy. Care to elaborate what kind of philosophy you follow?
>implying I will entertain your masturbatory abuse of the Socratic method
heh, pleb
I listen to Stefan Molyneux podcasts
Bronyism
Any good? I remember my sister showing it to me before it was dubbed in the States and, being the only one in the family who would understand the references, got a nice laugh out of it.
>mfw the mods'll probably delete this thread even though this show parodies historical events and needs the opinions of historians
>>3331239
Warum?
I've watched a lot of anime and it's one of my least favourite. I mean it's watchable if you're bored as shit but that's about it.
I liked it. It was pretty funny.
Maybe it's because I don't watch a lot of anime but I do like history and funny shit.
>tfw you realize non authoritarian societies have been in a constant non stop state of social upheaval and unrest since 1945
>tfw you realize the Soviets were right
>>3331115
Yeah I'm really feeling the effects of all that social upheaval and unrest, wish I was Eastern European instead.
>>3331247
Eastern euros are based tho
>>3331115
>>tfw you realize the Soviets were right
?
Was it the biggest mistake in history?
>>3330697
nope.
nuclear weapons actually worked where the Gatling and Maxim machine guns failed. They are weapons so awful. that no one will dare use the. nations that have them and can effectively deploy them in retaliation, are effectively immune from being attacked through conventional or nuclear means.
nuclear weapons have forced peace among the major world powers. leaving them to only fight in smaller conflicts against nations with out nuclear weapons or through proxies. No more massive industrial world wars like in the first half of the 20th century.
the only mistake was the nuclear non proliferation movement. which has left a lot of regionally important nations with out nuclear deterrence and open to being invaded and occupied by nuclear nations.
every nation that can acquire nuclear weapons. should be able to, and do it openly.
i've lived in Japan. I've been to the Peace museum in Hiroshima, and seen the A bomb dome. I was in japan when the 3/11 earthquake/tsunami/meltdown happened. I was there when radioactive contamination spread over parts of Japan. yet I still support the idea of every nation being a nuclear power.
>>3330697
No nuclear weapons are great. The fear of complete annihilation has contributed greatly in keeping the people in line.
>>3330731
That's all fine and dandy until we give the nuclear codes to a mentally unhinged orange clown
Why do you still believe in God when science has proven that he doesn't exist?
1/10
You really need to work on your baiting skills. Here's your pity (you)
>>3330399
>letting a disabled "scientist" influence your worldview.
As long as science cannot give us any facts about the time before the birth of our current universe or what happens after death, some people will find the idea of a creator still entertaining.
Ask someone who is unironically a determinist, materialist, atheist, and nihilist anything.
>>3330103
So you're basically, in other words, a greedy, unbelieving opportunist who doesn't care for anything but himself.
How was your day?
What do you like the most about your best friend?
Are you hyped for something?
What's your favorite kind of candy?
How is your career/school going?
What are your future plans?
What kind of animals do you like?

How do you avoid getting depressed? Existential nihilism is a black pill I wish I didn't swallow, I've seriously considered larping as a Christian like >>3330118

Free will doesn't exist.
how do you expain the fact that people see the same things, and agree massively about what they sense
when I see a cup, hold it and hand it to you, is there one cup being shared, or two cups within our each respective minds that is somehow non-materially being correlated
how do minds form in the absense of 'stuff'
how do minds die?
is the world around me just composed of the outer 'shells' of the things I see that are closest to my eyes, or do I see hwole objects?
what is the world behind my head like? is there jus nothing? some sort of existential placeholder in my mind for 'wall'? material uninterpreted reality?
