>Be US citizen
>Say mean things about England during WWII
>1946
>Brits execute you for treason against the British crown
How the fuck was this execution legal? It would be justified if it was the Americans executing him for treason against America.
He pretended to be British to get a passport and vote.

Because he was a British citizen who had spent most of his life in Northern Ireland.
Also, because he committed High Treason.
Hey /his/,
I am looking for a book that would analyze and compare the Two sides of political orientation (Left vs Right) or something along those lines.
I have read both adam smith and marx but it seems like i also want to read someone who is actually analyzing and comparing them (not just myself)
any sugestions?

>the Two sides of political orientation
That there are only two sides is an illusion.
so is there a must read in syncretic politics then? or how can i redpill myseld reliably?
The titles to name are countless. I would suggest going to a library and ask around. They way I approach it, is by reading critics. A critic of smith and of marx. That way you force yourself to analyse yourself. Since you read smith and marx (I guess not their enitre legacy?), you can formulate and analyse and compare your own views with that of marx, smith and people who critic them. Reading works of history has a methode:). In a sense you start a discussion with dead people over and over again:p. (btw critic is helpfull, but people who agree with you or have the same conclusions but different viewpoints help as well in formulating your own).
I am sorry that I haven't given you any titles, I hope what I had to say was still helpfull.
Is it possible that a pandemic on the scale of this bad boy happens again?
yes, but only if it is resistant to antibiotics
>>2575918
Sure, if a particularly nasty virus broke out. Technically speaking if a virus was bad enough pretty much all of mankind could be eliminated.
>>2575918
Considering the viruses that gey stronger and more resistant to antibiotics everyday, then there's a possibility this could happen. However, it would struggle in widely distributed first world countries (i.e. North America and Australia), and may have trouble beginning in overpopulated shitholes as they have little access to anti-biotics.
What is healthier and more fulfilling, living in a village or a city?
There are multiple studies that show that growing up in a city leads to an increased risk of suffering from mental diseases later in life.
On the other hand, historically cities were the hotspots of cultural development and civilizational refinement, whereas today cities are often regarded as an agglomeration of human filth.

>whereas today cities are often regarded as an agglomeration of human filth.
Only by those who take no part in "cultural development and civilizational development," as you put it. Just like always. Cities have never been less "filthy" and "villages" mostly no longer even exist, replaced by alienating "suburbs" that lack all their social advantages. I live in a city and my neighborhood is much more cohesive and supportive than the suburb I grew up in.
What the FUCK happened here?

Pre-Indo-European Cretans/Minoans who were mostly peaceful, built large fortifications and left female breast exposed. They also jumped over steers

But what happened to their civilization?
Did they discover something that should have been kept secret?
Is the Minotaur in the Labyrinth a symbol of what was unearthed there?
>>2575868
No. Their agriculture got fucked up by volcanic eruptions and earthquakes then the Minoans invaded and stole their writing system and.

Anyone from the 1900s

Because they lack a credible source for their STRONK MEN GOOD TIMES meme and Spengler himself was a dumb right-winger.
They never actually read Decline of the West.
And dumb people misappropriating scholars isn't exactly a rarity on any side of the political spectrum.
Because they see the future Caesarism as a revival of the old culture and ignore the fact that it becomes a stagnant artifact of what it once was.
They wanna use it for the God emperor Trump unknowing he is most likely more of a Gracchus instead of a Caesar
Can we discuss Asian American History?
It is sorely neglected in most American schools because of the usual stuff like racism.

i know that they build the railroad and that there were some rooftop Koreans during the L.A riots.

Why isn't self-deification a more common theme in religions?
Is there a more worthwhile spiritual pursuit than apotheosis?
Making supernatural events tangible is science, not religion.
Because most religions which last any length of time learn that man is essentially not God, and any being which could come about through change, not being the first cause, could not be God either. 'Apotheosis' is a goal for people who know neither what it is to be a man nor what it is to be God.

Please let your opinion be well-structured, nuanced and critical. I withhold mine for now, just to not take the lead in this discussion.
Comment on effect of the film or content (as a whole or per part). If you've just seen it, but haven't read about it, or just read about it but haven't seen it, I advice you to do your homework first.
Knowledge is cumulative
Okay pff. Didn't know where this would have gone. But luckily you guys ignored this. I hope because you either know it and find it ridicilous or haven't seen it. In that case, don't bother. :)

I found tzm when I was looking for something to describe my political views.
I think they are overly critical of markets, pretty much wright about the problem but missed the solution. Haven't watched the movie. I've incorporated the natural law/resource based theory of value into mutualism

Is this chart true for false flags throughout history? What are some sound ways to tell that have been consistent over time?
>>2575569
That pic seems like something someone brewed up on /pol/ to bait whenever something bad happens. The earnest answer is that we don't have enough false flags to work off of to establish a formula. There have only really been false flags and mass media since the Second World War.
>>2575569
No.
A false flags about hegelian synthesizing predetermined outcomes through manipulated or planted first flag occurances.
As a journalist, I can say that this is bullshit spouted by people who have no idea how journalists do their job.
Usually the most effective way to recognize a false flag is by examining who benefits. It's a rule of nature that people do things that benefit themselves, and often they hurt others in the process. But one must also consider that for small-scale happenings, it could just as likely be the product of mental illness/vengeance/bad behavior. These are also real feelings that exist.
For instance: Erdogan coup - false flag. Newtown shooting - mental illness. WMD's in Iraq - false flag. Gulf of Tonkin incident - false flag. 9/11 - real happening.
If something happens that allows a nation to pursue its national interest in a politically tenable way, or if something happens that allows a political ingroup to seize more power, you can bet that it's a false flag. The more corrupt a country is (Russia/China/Middle East/3rd world) the more likely the government will manipulate controlled opposition to get what it wants.
