You know how people always argue about the existence of Socrates? Well Socrates is attested to by many people, Plato, Xenophon etc.
Aristotle on the other hand.. The supposed student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great doesn't seem to understand basic points in Plato's philosophy and misrepresents Plato all the time.

Aristotle was invented to create a link between Alexander the Great and Plato, as to make Alexander a mythical philosopher king.

-Aristotle's works aren't close to Platonic philosophy or any other work of the Academy
-His works were lost (or ''kept in a cellar'') after his death only to be found two hundred years later in 84BC
-In the meantime there are no references to Aristotle's work at all nor does his philosophy seems to have influenced anyone at all
-Cicero provides a list of the heads of the Academy, so that would be our source for Aristotle existing if not for the following
-Some dude 'Apellicon of Teos' purchased the complete works of Aristotle from the cellar of Neleus (who was supposedly a disciple of Aristotle). Apellicon copied the works and because they were "in bad shape" filled up the "gaps"
-Sulla takes Aristotle's complete works (forgeries) to Rome as part of his great Roman acquisition of Greek heritage
-Tyrannoin of Amisus was told to ''organise'' Apellicon's library
-Tyrannoin was in the same intelectual circle as Cicero
-Cicero invented the list
-Aristotle's works were Roman forgeries, not Greek works
-Aristotle's work were received well in Rome because they were made by Roman hands

Maybe the Romans didn't make everything up but got the name wrong and he actually is listed and mentioned.

Are there any potential candidates of who he could be?
>>
>>2606802
How can Aristotle be a Roman forgery, if Rome itself has never existed and is a Venetian forgery?

Checkmate, atheists.

Rule of the proletariat is in human nature and is inevitably going to be the governance of the future civilization.

Every human strives for acceptance and to be moraly right, it's just that based on culture and religion, it may not appear to be so, but Rule of the proletariat will bring all humans together.

So India had a number of ancient city states that were proto-republics, they were called janapada or Ganapada, something close to res publica, a oligarchic republic, some of these peoples were prominent just around the time Buddha was rising in his popularity and there are many stories about Buddhas travel in those areas populated by the Licchavis, Malla, Kashi, Vrijji, Anga, Magadha and many of them were republics according to its description in the Anguttara Nikaya

Immanuel Kant.
The most overrated philosopher of all time.
He is not only overrated, he is also dangerous. Take for example his thesis on morals or eithics.

The only thing that is good in and of itself is a good will (Kant; vs. J.S. Mill who gave "pleasure" the same rating, in his consequentialist ethics as Kant gave to a good will in his "deontological" or non-consequentialist eitics).

So what is a good will (Herr Kant)?

KANT: A will which follows universal law without regard to the consequences.

It is pretty tough to know what a "universal law" is. Most people, if not all people, have to go with the laws promulgated by "popular scientists" or their own alleged "governors/governments".

So when German people tried to explain why they went along with the holocaust, among other atrocities, the answer which the majority gave and which (to them) actually explained their complicity was:- "We were following orders or obeying the (universal) laws of Hitler/The Reich.", which didn't impress any of the Americans, the British, Canadians, Australians or other "allies" who had not been "indoctrinated/softened up" by Immanuel Kant's bizarre ethics.

As far as FACTUAL things are concerned, Kant argues that we know our own minds better than we know things outside our own minds --- which is, once again, "overrated non-sense". It is far easier to understand almost anything other than even the simplest "human mind", for if "minds" were easy to understand there wouldn't be such overwhelming contradictions between various philosophers and their alleged "philosophies".

Being right isn't all there is to the philosophy game. Just having a coherent line of reasoning seems enough to achieve immortality. Even if those ideas lead to monstrous applications and devastation.

Kant serves as an important benchmark. Like the metric measures, he can be relied upon to provide the simplest and elegant measure of wrong.
>>
>>2606531
Except that life is far too complex to just rely upon "simple" elegant measure of wrong.
