Uh, how about reading praised academics like Rudolph Rummel, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Robert Conquest or Jordan Peterson?

Jordan Peterson is a literally who only famous for saying dumb shit during a controversy, and Solzhenitsyn is an ideologue who made a career of telling the west what it wanted to hear.
Even at that, being a praised academic doesn't mean they're right. Marx is considered an important philosopher whose work was foundational to sociology, does that mean he's right?
Who are the important people to know?

I don't pick 'favorites' when it comes to something as terrible as warfare. As for most interesting, I think the Battle of Jaffa captures my interest the most. Richard and Saladin duking it out so harshly that both sides agreed that enough is enough.

What did Jewish people do pre-WWI that made Germany want the average Jew's head on a pike?
I know Hitler talked about Jewish conspiracies and stuff but my knowledge on why is very low besides the whole long tradition of Jewish bankers since their religion let people lend money to others back in the day.
Any thoughts and info I could get on this? Legit curious.

Jews tried to start a communist revolution in Germany. Of course they would be hated.
>Lenin and Trotsky were good boys. It was that evil Stalin that came along and ruined everything.
Why do so many people unironically believe this?
After WWII the US propaganda machine was faced with a dilemma: the USSR had emerged as an opponent, yet the US had acted against it's interests in allying with the USSR and then not dropping a nuke on Moscow. What could be done?
Simple: The USSR wasn't an enemy back THEN because Lenin ( who was a good guy) was in charge. But not that Stalin is in charge, things are different.

Dafuq you say about the Great Khan white boy?
Just weeks before he died, extreme anti-semitic articles appeared in Pravda. The USSR broke off relations with Israel and many Jews were convinced would be another Holocaust
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalin_and_antisemitism
>"The Simple-minded and the Swindlers" was published in Pravda, featuring numerous characters with Jewish names, all of them swindlers, villains, saboteurs, whom the naïve Russian people trust, having lost vigilance. What followed was a new wave of antisemitic hysteria, and a plan by Stalin to send all of the Jews to Siberia,[44][45] similar to other ethnic groups. Only Stalin's death the same year relieved the fear.[16]
>It has been claimed that: "At the time of [Stalin's] death, no Jew in Russia could feel safe."[47]
Nikita Khrushchev wrote in his memoirs that
>“A hostile attitude toward the Jewish nation was a major shortcoming of Stalin's. In his speeches and writings as a leader and theoretician there wasn't even a hint of this. God forbid that anyone assert that a statement by him smacked of antisemitism. Outwardly everything looked correct and proper. But in his inner circle, when he had occasion to speak about some Jewish person, he always used an emphatically distorted pronunciation. This was the way backward people lacking in political consciousness would express themselves in daily life—people with a contemptuous attitude toward Jews. They would deliberately mangle the Russian language, putting on a Jewish accent or imitating certain negative characteristics [attributed to Jews]. Stalin loved to do this, and it became one of his characteristic traits.[54]
None could feel safe under Stalin, no matter their ethnic group.
In many ways, Stalin was superior as dictator than little Hitler could ever hope to be.

Why do some people seemingly dislike these movements so much? To me, I've always been fascinated with how many new ideas came out of both, especially in the later 60's movement. In the long run of things, these two movements will probably be remembered in the same vein as Beethoven or Mozart.
Bauhaus will definitely be remembered, since their influence is still rampant in modern design and architecture, but the 60's flower power memery was just a fad that nostalgic boomers and uninspired graphic designers trot out every few years for a "retro" throwback.
