What do you know about the Kingdom of France, i recently got very interested in the history of France, especially during the medieval monarchy, i have no real direction with this thread, as i only just started getting to know this period, and would love some suggestions and help to get me started. It's a developped country that has the means to spread its culture.
Besides, Japan is really interesting, it has a long well known written history, unlike many places in the world. It's the only non western country that managed to industrialize, despite having no ressources, and even managed to defeat Russia. Of course that fact alone sparked many people interest.

I've always been curious as to which regime was better for ordinary citizens of germany. Nazi germany gave most people a job and made life a lot more fun and interesting, but was totalitarian. Weimar Germany was liberal and allowed more freedom but had huge problems with its democratic process and hyperinflation. Who was better for ordinary germans (meaning white non-jewish non-persecuted minority germans)
