Custom resolution patch on pastebin. Then I cranked up the antialiasing using NVIDIA inspector and DSR. AMD cards can probably do the same with their own software.

Well there is shitloads of mods. Tons of clothing n shit. Some extra personalities, particularly from AA. If your game wasn't patched and without appends, there are some new features and stuff too. Compared to release time it's a huge improvement in content. 1 year ago though? I don't know. There was tons of mods back then.

Also make sure you enable eavesdropping if you did actually play it vanilla without updates. Really adds to the game. It's in the options but I don't remember what it's called - it makes other peoples conversations listenable to you, I think the hotkey was T and it's in the sound panel.

Echoing this guy. If you actually played with no mods, no official DLC (appends) and default girls - pure vanilla - it's well worth checking out again. Some of the cards on the database are amazing.

If you had the appends, the HEXA hair and clothing packs, or some good custom cards one year ago, there's not too much that will impress you. There's some good stuff, but it's more of the same.

Almost finished reinstalling/applying mods after a year or so. I had a blast just loading the roster with my favorite girls for vanilla and there's so many more clothing/hair mods out now.

Okay Duckfriends I shall tell you how to do this.

1 - back up/duplicate jg2p01_00_01.pp just in case you want to remove it in the future.

2 - AA2Decrypt it

3 - copypaste the files from preg body into the folder AA2Decrypt made

4 - drag that folder back over onto AA2Decrypt

5 - play game and select nude state. It only works for normal weight girls. There is no preg thin or fat

I'm running Windows 10, I've tried applocale and HF pApploc they sort of work for what they have to do but they don't fix the problem at hand. Don't rename it. What's the log file say? If it is missing data1.cab or something like that then it is just a corrupt/broken file. Simply re download, preferably via torrent to avoid errors.

Im reinstalling AA2 after a long time, did everything according to installation pastebin http://pastebin.com/kdr1kv20 and now start installing mods. So i know mods work, because translation worked, but the uncensor 3d MK III is not working. Game just runs normally censored. It says in readme that it needs Append II, i thought its one of that DLCs i installed before mods, but maybe im wrong?

Hey Anons. I wanted to do a fresh install of AA2 since my version was old, so redownloaded everything. I was installing AA2 using the installation guide and it was smooth sailing until I tried to install Append 2. Trying to open the FileCopy.exe with applocale only got me a message saying it couldn't launch and to check if the application was valid. Opening without applocale got me this (translated):
It failed to get the files you want to copy .
Please try than the actual file name and file name that is written in the text

to install them you have to download the wizard manager from hongfire, install it in your aa2 folder (it will create a folder there), drop the mods in the new folder in .zip or .7z, then open wizard manager and install them.
If you wanna add characters go to the characters database in this post, download the ones you want and drop the imaes in the aa2 maker folder -> data -> save -> male/female.
If the skin has eyes drop them in data -> texture

I get this error whenever I run the game. The game runs fine, so I have no idea what's fucking up. Any ideas what causes this and how to fix it?

I'm able to get the vanilla game up and running, but i'm encountering some issues.


1: Tried to download the DLC and Updates...kept getting errors for the Append 2 and several other DLC's.


In-game, the only issue I notice is the fact I can't access certain options in the options menu. For whatever reason, clicking one of the categories up top goes instead shows the one to the immediate left of it, leaving me only able to access the sound menu. This does not occur in any other menus.

Now it isn't running whatsoever. Even after a complete reinstall.

Update: It actually worked, though not perfectly. I can now run the game again but some things have weird symbols on them (every dialogue now has these weird "quotation marks" that look something like .v.) I only did a quick test for a few minutes before going to sleep but this fix seems okay, at least for now.

I keep having a a weird issue.

After downloading, occasionally the game fails to start up, and the only solution is re-running the DLC patch and HF patch files, which breaks most of my mods.

Is there an alternate solution to doing this? The mods take forever to reinstall.

I used to play a lot AA2 but then I went for a 2 month hiatus and when I came back the game wasnt opening. Ok.

I tried reinstalling and putting the translator again but I dont know what happened that when I try to load any save I had, the game crashes.

Even if I try to start a new game, I receive a crash notice.
