As far as I can tell, yes. Some of the dialogue is translated, like when I go out with Sylvie, but some dialogue isn't. Happens even when I'm not wearing the Santa outfit (Just in case that detail was important, idk how this stuff works).

New version of the all-in-one patch. Turns out the Santa patch actually fucked up quite a bit of stuff because it didn't account for the UI changes in then English TL either. There was also a missing bracket in one of the scripts that probably would've thrown an exception if someone got to it. All fixed! Game should be back in working order now.

Very simple. Place the batch file into data\fgimage\chara, then double-click it. It'll change the folder names automatically. If all the folders (except four, but those four are related to 1.20b so it's fine) are numbers instead of names, you're good to go!

Oh, and I should mention you need to run the DLSite patch BEFORE applying the rest. It needs to be the first thing you do.

You didn't read the readme. You're using the legit version from DLSite, so before applying the patch you have to run the batch file I included in data\fgimage\chara. It converts the 'new' folder names to the 'old' style that this patch was designed for.

Remaking every script to use the 'new' way would be a maaaaaajor pain, so I'll wait for 1.20 to get out of beta and by then the person who made this in the first place will probably have fixed it.

Patch compiler here. Fixed a minor bug with set_show.ks that was causing pic related to happen for no reason. Speech transitions should be much cleaner and the log shouldn't have weird line breaks anymore.

I don't think this is what was causing the shop bug an anon earlier was talking about though. Can anyone share a save with Sylvie's affection at 400 or so?

Thank you for waiting! Decided to just do a run through the game to get to the proper point and figure out what's going on. Thankfully I have, and also fixed a bunch of other script bugs along the way (grammar/spelling/line breaks/etc). There's probably still more that can be fixed grammar-wise but for now I'm happy. I honestly have no clue why it's doing that for you. I just tested on a savefile I had with Intimacy 395, pushed to 410, went to the shop, it let me buy it once then said I already had it.

It's -possible- that your save might be unhappy about the new outfit. If you can post it somewhere I might be able to check it out. In the meantime I will take another look at the files to see if somehow an upper limit may have been introduced somewhere unexpectedly.

Just re-checked to make sure. The shop script checks to make sure that you've reached the final stage of your life with Sylvie and that your intimacy is at least 400 as a prerequisite to making the actual button appear.

Once it appears, it then checks to make sure 'f.c_g1' is equal to zero (f.c_g1 is the register that stores the santa outfit bought/not bought). If it is equal to zero, it resets it to 1 and then goes through the 'buy santa outfit' routine. If it is not equal to zero it skips to the 'already bought' script. In the closet script, it checks to see if f.c_g1 is equal to 1. If it is, the button appears to let you change to the Santa outfit.

The only thing I can think is that somehow f.c_g1 ended up getting set to something neither 0 nor 1 in your games. It shouldn't be possible to have that happen, but at least according to the script language that's the only way that it both wouldn't be available in the closet and wouldn't be buyable in the shop. I have implemented a check routine into this script to see if the player has a value set to anything other than 0 or 1 here, please try it out: http://www.mediafire.com/download/98bjqeozss4x204/shop.ks

I also realized I forgot to fix the bug in the actual game itself where it'll let you buy the black sheer stockings before the sheer stockings are available. Herp. That's also fixed in the above script.

This is strange. I actually only ever went to the restaurant with her once. Normally I'd just go to the shop, come home, headpat until night. Perhaps there was simply enough spare time for headpats after shopping that the intimacy bonus from the restaurant was spoken for (I didn't know about the restaurant until later).

Oddly enough as I recall I actually did touch her at the start, I just stopped short of actually pushing her down. Yet she's still very much alive and well.

It's from the 1.20 beta. FC added it to the game on DLSite on 12/30. You now have a menu option to have Sylvie help you with your work, which is what's pictured there.

So yes, the next version is getting more content and options to hang around with Sylvie (or without her, as you can now go out on your own). It also adds two new H-scenes according to the changelog though I haven't looked into what they are yet.

1.16 is what's on DLSite. If you bought the game, just re-download the current version. You'll find a folder called 'beta' in the main directory. Take the data folder from there and merge it with the data folder of the main game and voila, you're playing the beta.

The problem however (minor as it may be) is that whether an outfit is used in an H-scene or not is not just a texture, it's also a script that knows how to interact with that texture. The Santa outfit is not a part of that patch, so it will disappear if you apply that patch over the all-in-one patch. Wait for the all-in-one patch if you want the Santa outfit.

As for versions, the scenario files in that patch are for 1.16, but it only includes the files that had buttons to move around, so applying it over a game patched to 1.20 beta would probably break things. If you want to use it with the beta, you can use patch.py in the scripts directory, but the translated scenario files are not updated for 1.20 yet.

Patch-kun here, was just a temp ban over a disagreement in the C89 thread. Did you rebuy the Santa outfit? The new patch uses a new variable for the Santa outfit and as such if you previously purchased it it'll break until you purchase it again.

It also means that when 1.20 drops, you will have magically purchased the kimono even though you didn't (heh).

This was a bug with the way I applied the new Santa outfit parameters. Turns out I had used underscores in the old design and hyphens in the new one, so while I replaced the parameter I forgot to change the underscore to a hyphen. The good news is that while figuring that out I found a mixup on my part where I changed a talk/headpat parameter to a value well out of range, which likely would've thrown an exception had someone stumbled onto it.

It's not a major issue, certainly not one that would warrant a permanent fix, but you can actually add a code in yourself that will clear the parameters.

1. Open data\scenario\settings.ks in notepad. 2. Search for: storage="chara/3/c-santa.png"
3. Right after the closed bracket, add this line: [eval exp="f.c_g1=0" ]
4. Save the file and load your save.
5. Go to the closet and switch to something that isn't the Santa outfit. Then switch back to the Santa outfit.
6. Save your game ane exit.
7. Reopen settings.ks and remove the line you added. Save.

What this does is add a reset parameter to the Santa outfit in the closet. When you click the Santa Dress button, it resets c_g1 (what used to be the Santa outfit, but is the kimono in 1.20) to 0 (unpurchased). You must remember to remove this line afterwards or down the line you will end up unpurchasing the kimono whenever you have her wear the Santa outfit.

If you do take another look, I recommend using Excel. You can use the replace dialog to replace all "\n"s with real line breaks (use Alt+010), then auto size the cell rows, which should give you something closer to the original form of the text. The only tricky part is you need to make sure to replace the line breaks back to "\n"s before putting it back in a text file.
