and this is what the pages look like. they're fairly thick for manga pages, so the book doesn't feel flimsy, which is nice. (also if you want to read it, buy it, i'm not posting the whole thing here)

Jacob you know if digital released is cheaper than it is now, i might actually support it.
10$ too much for something every anon can steal easily.

if the Fakku book were to be 2-3$ or heck maybe even 4-5$ is kinda pushing it for Digital released.
heck i would buy every book if it were cheap enough, and might even get the physical book itself
but that rip off price just turn me off both digital and physical released of Fbook.

I myself really want some of the physical books, but the thought of me supporting Jewcob is really killing it.

tanks are around $15 in Japan, so the increased price is paying for the english translation; the original publisher still wants their cut of the profits. I think that they did a good job with this one, so I have no real issue with it being a bit more expensive per-tankobon than a JP release
>>
>>3851267
>$10 too much for something every anon can steal easily.

Honestly, as someone who really likes digital distribution, I find this attitude of "it's easy to illegitimately obtain something digitally so I don't think it's worth paying for" pretty sad.

Mostly because it's missing quite a few points, namely the service aspect of digital distribution. Sure, you might be able to pirate the digital version via torrents today, but are those torrents guaranteed to be seeded forever? Are those uploads guaranteed to stay up forever? Pirated content will always live under a cloud of uncertainty in terms of availability. A legal copy on the other hand you can be sure will be available for you to download and enjoy whenever you want, and you also support the authors by purchasing them.

Which is not to say that you should always buy legitimately just because it's legitimate - a legitimate option should also be something worth buying. If you find yourself preferring pirate copies of the legit thing over scanlations, I'd say that'd be one indication to consider actually paying for them to show your support for what they do and what you enjoy.

Admittedly, legal digital distribution has its availability issues too, like with publishing deals expiring or some generally dumb shit happening (usually stemming from how terrible copyright laws are), but ideally that would only hurt people who haven't bought content yet and wouldn't affect existing customers.

the Fakku Reader (the browser-based doohicky that is used to read the tankobons it publishes) had some issues when it first went live after the release of Renai Sample, but now it works OK, and you can download a high-res scan of the thing if you don't like having to be online to read it.

From what it sounds, Wanimagazine is willing to see if they can make a profit off the English-speaking market through Fakku as a distributor. If no one buys enough, they'll lose interest and pull out, taking all their content with them. There will always be doujins and other things that can't be DMCA'd to look at, but I'm willing to think that this deal might open up the industry to the Western market in a new way; instead of edited versions of the mangas, we can get near-identical translated editions. That's something that I want to support.

Just to be sure everyone is aware of this, I work for FAKKU - I do web development (the new reader is my handwork) and work on the digital distribution side of things in general.

Anyway, I also received my physical copy of Renai Sample yesterday (got one from the early batch since I work for FAKKU after all). I was, in all honesty, pretty amazed by the printing quality. It's legitimately better than any single other physical manga book I own. It's big and sturdy, the paper feels really nice, and the print quality is just great.

Pretty funny for such a book to be porn, but apparently it just mirrors the situation in Japan - H-manga is generally printed in better quality than their regular counterparts. It does make sense though, considering it's usually individual books for adult audiences versus volumes and volumes of content for all kinds of audiences.

This is (as far as I know) the first time this level of print quality is mirrored in a western release, though, so if you've never seen physical Japanese H-manga, the quality should be better than what you'd normally expect to see.

Wouldn't want to actually use it for fapping purposes though, it'd be incredibly uncomfortable to try to read it with just one hand. Digital works out much better in this regard. But hey, A++ collector item if you're into that! (This is one reason why I'd like the physical + free digital combo to be a default thing outside of preorders too.)
>>
>>3851291
I will say that the only reason I preordered is because of the higher quality with color pages and original uncensored (NOT decensored, which looks like shit). If it were a bog-standard B&W print on recycled paper like mainstream manga you'd find on the shelves of Barnes and Noble, I wouldn't have bothered.
>>
>>3851282
yeah that is very true, but people are buying game because they think the price is justifiable in their opinion.

as of right now Digital Fakku books at the very least are not in my eyes, as i believe many other anons also do.
and yes some do believe the prices are justify, and thats why they bought it.
but it will never be for me as long as the digital price remain this much.
Maybe one day if ever. Fakku has Fakku book sales(like steam sales) then I will be buying them.

still i think the physical Fakku book are fantastic. Even just by looking at it and the idea of the whole thing together.
I wasnt even surprised if many would still want to buy it. consider the hate flame around the web.
whatever they want to collected or just to want support the Fakku themselves.
still the reason i didnt buy that book wasnt because i think the physical book's prices are too high or the book quality might be bad.
but the thought of me supporting the Fakku book.

I know it might sound unreasonable, not buying physical book because i think the digital's price is too high.
but the content itself. it was something every anons and even Fakku themselves used to have it for free.
if the uncen addition is justifiable to the price for those who bought it, then good for them.
but I do not believe there will be that many who would want to support Fakku book by buying only buying the Digital released.
if anyone who actually want to support, they would just buy the physical book.
but as of right now if you are someone who work in Fakku and able to see the sales figure between Digital and Physical .
one should be able tell you if what i said is actually true or not.

also to me Fakku book are nothing much different than Kickstarter of legal newer hentai in western.
maybe i will support it one day, when Fakku are able to keep up the newest released on wani.
but as of today i just dont want to be a part of it (yet.)
this is just random thought of an anon. take it with bucket of salts.

>Maybe one day if ever. Fakku has Fakku book sales(like steam sales) then I will be buying them.

Sales are definitely something I'd like to see happen at some point.

>but the content itself. it was something every anons and even Fakku themselves used to have it for free.

Yeah, but it was free because it was available illegally. But they've always been commercial products that you have to pay for if you want to get them legally, and now buying some of those works legally has been made a lot easier for non-Japanese customers. And besides being able to support the creators you like, you do also get the added benefits of uncensored artwork, really high quality (because the releases are made from the actual digital print sources instead of scans of prints) and the certainty of legal availability I talked about in >>3851273.

Again, I think it's a shame that people don't see the value of legal digital offerings just because they're used to pirating digitally. I do understand it on a certain level, though - I'm not too hot on many legal digital options either because a lot of them suck when it comes to delivering quality products. That's why I'm so glad to be able to work on digital distribution myself - I want to show people what legal digital can truly be capable of.

Which is to not say FAKKU would be doing that just yet, there's still places for it to go before it'll be close to what I would consider an ideal digital distribution service. But it's getting there.
>>
I do know that everyone are way too used to pirating it, and I'm just being stubborn for not buying the physical book.
but at this point I might come out clean and desperate and say

I do like it a lot, but I don't want to pay 10$ for it.
Everyone is going to pirate it and we both know that gonna happen, and you guys cant do anything(or maybe you can but it will be very hard.) So lets meet half way. Lower the digital price ls a bit, and then maybe some people like me might consider buying it digitally.

I'm not asking the price to go down now, because then you guys will have another flame war from those who already bought it
So yeah a sales. In the future. Maybe Someday.

It gonna be difficult transition from pirate to legal purchase for everyone. As it did with video games.
>>
I won't support FAKKU until the pick one camp and stick with it. Right now they are trying to say the are going legal but at the same time the site still gets most of it's traffic via hosting scans of doujin and manga that were upload illegally. Either they get rid of all the content that isn't 100% legit or they stop acting like they are they are the only ones playing fair you can't have it both ways in my book

You make up bullshit excuses like "A BLOO BLOO BLOO BUT IT'S ONLY $10 SURELY YOU CAN AFFORD SUCH A SMALL FEE FOR A BETTER SERVICE" and complain about people stealing artists work, while at the exact same time running a website that does THAT VERY FUCKING THING.
For example, at this very moment AsamiX by Ayakase Chiyoko is on the front page of the website, so what if there's no direct download link? Anyone could easily rip it page by page from the website in seconds.
You fucking faggots will keep doing this to every artist not covered by Wani's DMCA notice and not give a shit about it, because they aren't effecting your revenue, you jew cunts.
Now lets talk about the DMCA for a moment.
Suddenly a DMCA notice from Wani comes out of nowhere and hits you and all of your competitors, conveniently at the exact same fucking time you happen to have struck up a business deal with Wani to start publishing their shit.
I'm sure you had nothing to do with this.
I'm definitely sure that Jewcob didn't notify Wani of Fakku's competitor sites that do what they do infinitely better.
I'm certainly sure that Jewcob didn't advise them that if Fakku started publishing Wani's material then your competitor websites would just make it easily available for free.
And I'm positively sure that there's no way you'd be such incredible jews as to be completely apathetic about the fact that uncountable volumes of material that in all likelyhood would never have even made it to Jewcob's shit-show of a website have now been lost forever, in exchange for 1 or 2 Fakku releases EACH MONTH.
And I repeat, you are still doing the EXACT SAME THING all your competitors do by releasing other artist's work for free.

If you're going to fucking sell out at least commit to it, and sell your published shit and your published shit alone. Don't try and have your cake and eat it too, you fucking hypocritical shit stain.

To be fair, it's all speculation.
But yeah, all his books' shit started at a very bad moment. And the fact that he went as far as mailing Tenboro to put his books on DNP when he didn't even have a fucking book published doesn't help either. If he didn't care about piracy then he would have done nothing (or at least asking for them to be "forbidden"). But no, his hate for g.e-hentai/exhentai could do more.

Pretty smart way to keep the books from being pirated for a month. If I'm not mistaken their first two books had at least a one month pre-order window, so this is better for those who pay, worse for those who don't, and they obviously don't care about the latter being inconvenienced.

FAKKU's legal offerings aren't limited to US & Canada. Shipping is done from the US though so it can get pretty expensive internationally, but the digital versions obviously don't suffer from this.

I'm actually invited out to Canada each year as a guest to speak at some of the anime conventions, I go through Canadian customs with boxes and boxes of hentai. Never had any issues, just some strange looks while they go through it.

Like Daiz said, we have worldwide rights to Wani material outside of Japan. It has nothing to do with the United States/Canada. We've chosen not to do anything about scanlations because I want to continue supporting the scanlation community. On top of that I believe our releases stand out significantly. You can read more about my thoughts on it here: https://www.fakku.net/forums/front-page-news/fakku-books-115742

>>3852249
>nothing of real value has been added
You couldn't be more wrong on this. We have access to the source material directly from the artist. This allows us to release books at a level of quality you will never see through scans. On top of that we choose not to rush releases and we spend a lot of time going over the translation. We even go as far as talking back and forth with Wani/the artist to find out exactly what message is trying to be said if we have questions. That was the case with the title of "Peachy-Butt Girls", which the scanlation incorrectly translated to "The Pretty Peach Hip" which itself was incorrectly translated into English on the title of the Japanese release.

Our Bosshi release does a good job showing our quality, I wouldn't usually compare one of our releases to the scanlation but this is from Lusty Lady Project and we are bros with them. You can clearly see the improved colors we have access to, the quality of the image, lack of censorship, and the better translation. The scan even cuts off part of the page and artwork. http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/103356

Wasn't Renai Sample on FAKKU to begin with as separate stories? I had read many of them before.

Anyway I'm waiting for all the others to get circulated online. Renai Sample was pretty average, but Takaharu Apartments is excellent.

Is there a way that you can let us know if a certain book would be troublesome to order in Canada?

Will there just be no disclaimer at the back of the book?
>>
>>3852356
>Is there a way that you can let us know if a certain book would be troublesome to order in Canada?
Specifically for loli books there will be some sort of prompt before you finish the purchase where you have to acknowledge that it has controversial content. Because we have worldwide distribution rights it would be hard to keep up to date on the laws of every country in the world as they change and show that to the users (like the recent UK stuff). But loli will have a warning since it's the most obvious.
>>
>>3852349
When will the video section be not-shit?

Not trying to sound entitled or whiney since you can just find the content in 5 seconds on Google anyway, but the video section on FAKKU is so barren and worthless as it is that it may as well not even exist.
>>
>>3852348
So when are you going to get rid of all the non Wani works on your site. I mean if you are now on the up and up it seem shady to host illegal scans of other artist/magazines works.

I have no problem with legal distribution of works, but this current playing both sides business is not something I want to play part of.
>>
by bringing Wani's attention to DMCA every other websites isnt exactly supporting the scanlation community or is it?
I dont care if what is the true whatever you guys still supporting it or not.

until you guys get rid all of the stuffs you do not have legel right on it.

>>
>>3852349

Approximately how long will you be printing each book? I'd like to buy Renai Sample but I won't be able to for a while.
>>
>>3852361

Will this apply to digital copies as well?
>>
>>3852373
>if Crunychyroll did it, why cant you?

Why shoot yourself in the foot if you don't have to. There is nothing to gain by going full legit, the site's traffic would tank if the only thing on it was Wani works that people had to pay for.

With the current set up they can bring people in with the free illegal stuff with the off hope of them shelling out for the pay goods. Wani doesn't care cause this undercuts their rivals while making them a bit of money.

The whole thing is shady as fuck, but even I will tip my hat someone who found a great way to work the system to best suit them.
>>
>>3852363
The video section is tough. I'm planning to focus my attention on the video section once the books are well along. A couple years ago we worked out a deal with Kitty Media to bring a few titles to FAKKU but I didn't really have much time to pursue it further. Our deal with Wani has opened a lot of doors though, so there is a lot possible. I'm really looking forward to that upcoming Rance OVA.

>>3852366
Up until now the publishers chose to ignore their fans outside of Japan, which is what caused the scanlation community to grow. Wani is the first company to embrace their international audience and acknowledge us as their fans and part of their market. And they really did embrace us, it's ridiculous the amount of access they have given us to their material. They are allowing us to release it completely uncensored, DRM free, and at whatever resolution/quality we want. None of that is available to their Japanese audience and things will be even better once we start simulpublishing magazines.

If you buy a vanilla book or a loli book the artists will see that, it will affect what they choose to produce in the future. For the first time we really have the chance to give back and be a part of it. I have no intention to stop supporting scanlations. Scanlators have grown the fanbase into what it is today and made all of this possible. As a fan I didn't choose to be a pirate up until now, it was my only choice if I wanted to read this material. That is starting to change, we should embrace it! We have an opportunity at FAKKU to give people what they want and give them a product worth spending their money on. And at the same time giving back to the artists that have given us so many faps.
>>
>>3852375
We learned with Renai Sample that it takes about 2 - 3 months to print these books. There is a lot of back and forth getting proofs and making sure the colors are right. That said there is no reason to hold off on releasing the digital edition once it's done, which is why you see the digital available a few months before the paperback.
>>
>>3852382

Sorry, I meant to ask how long the book will be in print for?
>>
>>3852384
As far as I'm concerned, forever. We just about sold out of the initial print run and have already ordered another several thousand copies. A title like Renai Sample will always be popular, and since it was our first book it will always have a lot of nostalgia for it. When we release something that isn't as popular, I'm not sure. I would prefer to always have all of our releases available, with nothing ever out of print.
>>
>>3852380
You can't play both side, either the site is a place where people can view and buy doujin and H manga legally, or it is a hosting site for illegally scanned works for free.

The fact that you are trying to be both is what gets me. I pay for netflixs cause everything there is nice and legal. If they were to come out with a service that let me torrent movies and TV shows illegally I would have the same problem I have with your site now.

You talk a lot of pretty words, but if you won't commit to being 100% legal then why should I

even Daiz said it that nobody would actually fap to the physical book.
you know I dont mind if you can focus more on newer stuff even if they are going to be Digital only.
and dont made BS excuse about it will take time to make quality digital released.

The plan is to start simulpublishing magazines the same day they are released in Japan. That means the same day Kairakuten or X-Eros are made available at stores you will be able to read it online in English. Wani has a massive back catalog of titles that deserve an uncensored English release, we want to release all of them along with the new stuff. Once we start on magazines it will be easier to release books because theoretically we would have already translated the chapters. That extends to users outside of the United States, you will be able to read the magazines on day 1.

Why is this retard talking like a self entitled savior when he has done next to nothing to the hentai community.
>muh scanalators hosting
A lot of blogs already do that.
I don't know what exactly you said to those guys at Wani to convince them, but you are the one of the worst people they could have chosen. You don't know as much about hentai as many other people know. You didn't even know that Ootsuka Reika was a woman. You claim you like Henreader and not a single Henreader work is currently on your site.
I bet you didn't even know more than half of the artists who currently work under Wani until the deal was made.
There's also this >>3851364
Why did you even send that mail to tenboro? Just to piss him off? If you cared about the community you wouldn't care if your books are uploaded elsewhere. After all, not all people can spend that much on a hentai book, even if they love the artist. I like many of the artists on Wani, and I'm eager to buy some translated book from them (one of them being Haru Wamusato's Oyako tropical mix). And I plan to share it with everyone (because I like her works and want to show them to people who don't know), but thanks to you, if I do that, it won't last long.
You are really just one lucky dude. If I had the same opportunity to publish hentai books I would have done the very best to give a good service (like you are currently doing) because I fucking love hentai, and if it's to an audience who shares the same interest as me, even with more reason.

I would assume it's the same as importing any sort of porn. If there's a naked 12-year-old girl on the cover, they'll probably look into it.

It also depends on what your country considers illegal. Pretty sure the loli characters in those two books are in university, so age shouldn't be an issue, unless Canadian law states that "if it looks underage, it's underage."
>>
>>3851364
>they don't want their books to be leaked at exhentai while still hosting illegal content themselves
>>3852249
>what they are doing to every other artist is the exact thing why this move is so despicable
These statements really express the heart of the problem here. Start making sense, cut the contradictions. Admittedly, I don't really care about hearsay or pricing. I don't personally know the people involved and wouldn't pay for something like this anyway (fapping while holding a book open can't be easy). The whole effort, from an outsider's point of view, just seems so half-cocked. At best, it makes you look like an ass; at worst, it could set a nasty precedent.
>don't fuck with muh pr0nz

It sounds retarded, I know, but think about it. To quote >>3852380:
>Up until now the publishers chose to ignore their fans outside of Japan, which is what caused the scanlation community to grow.
So what happens when they stop ignoring those open wallets (ahem, I mean fans)? Sure, hosting sites don't *owe* us anything, but what keeps us coming back? Why did we show up in the first place? I can only imagine the total clusterfuck that would ensue if every other such site started to pull the same stunt, sparking fights over the rights to this publisher's material and that one's. Would these escalate to the courts? That would be a sight to behold.

The bottom line is that several people feel betrayed. It would be one thing to make a complete about-face - then they could vilify or just plain ignore you. Instead you choose to put on airs while still leaving most of the core unchanged. That is where most of the frustration/anger comes from. And I'm not speaking to just one person here.

TL;DR: drawn depictions of sex can be way more trouble than they're worth.

Thanks for telling me why I made FAKKU, even though what you're saying contradicts what I actually said shortly after I put it online 8 years ago. I have always wanted to work directly with the artists and publishers to make this content available outside of Japan. And it is an honor to finally be doing so. My goals have never changed. Other than the image section RIP.

>The future for FAKKU is looking awesome. Soon we will have multiple people uploading manga directly to the site, which means a ton of updates every single day. I honestly think we have more than enough daily updates already but the number is literally going to increase exponentially. The Image section is going to be taken over by azumax (which you can see more information on here) and completely expanded. Eventually I want to start translating the more popular manga titles, I want to talk with Japanese publishers and get them to ship us the actual manga and sell it on the site. There is so much that FAKKU still has in store!

FAKKU has never stopped growing since we went online. Early on I chose to have a curated uploading system where we gave permissions to select users rather than let anyone upload anything. Pair that with the fact that we only allow English scanlations results in less content than other sites but the content is more relevant for our audience. In retrospect that might not have been the best decision and I probably should have just gone with a free for all user upload system from the start.

I chose to focus my personal efforts on growing the community within the United States, we did this by spending the past few years going to just about every anime convention we could and giving panels talking about hentai and the weird shit we fap to. I learned a lot from going out and talking with people that I was able to use to improve FAKKU.

Admitting that is good, but why don't you tell that to your audience? You have made them miss a lot of artists whose works aren't on your site. You claim that your site is the best in hentai (even the site's motto is "all about hentai"), but there is still a fair amount of translated works left out. Who are you trying to trick? Do you even have a database of artists' pofiles, twitter accounts, blogs or anything like that? For fuck's sake you even say you're working with them personally, at least make the retards on your site know about the artists. No descriptions about the individuals chapters you are releasing, holy shit.
EH doesn't have such thing but damn, the users comments' help a fucking lot to know about the artists and the hentai manga business.
There, I gave you plenty of ideas.

>There was never any danger of FAKKU becoming irrelevant
With a lot of sites that upload more things than fakku, I would say that yes, there was (unless you are talking about the casual audience who just go to fap). I repeat, the whole wani mess helped you and your site a lot, and you didn't even do fucking nothing for it to happen, yet you were the one who got the best things, such is life, go figure.

Somewhere in that first video I am asked about my stance on loli and my response is something along the lines of "you should be able to fap to anything as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else." That's what I believe. Loli shouldn't be illegal at all and thankfully it is not illegal in the United States. Hence why we will be publishing loli. But there are places in the world where even normal hentai is illegal, and that's fucked up.

Obviously you don't like FAKKU and that's fine. I have made a lot of decisions over the years that could have been better, but I am happy with where we are today.

There are a lot of people who like loli and you aren't providing them what they like. What a good service you have there.

It's not that I don't like Fakku, once I found better sites I stopped caring about it a fucking long time ago (to be honest I used it for a very short time), and now all of a sudden you act like the savior of hentai when you actually know very little about the hentai scene pissess me off just because you were lucky to have a deal.
Even I said this whole thing couldn't have been existed if it wasn't for wani sending the takedowns because they didn't want their works to be leaked. And you don't seem to admit it. If that's not the case then tell me.
It's your attitude regarding this what upsets me.

>makes baseless complaint
There are a lot of artists with no information whatsover. I didn't bother searching for Homunculus or Pyon-kti because I don't really like their works. As I said up above, one of my favorites is Haru Wamusato. And it doesn't have information about her (https://www.fakku.net/artists/wamusato-haru), so shut up. And fuck off.

There is quite a bit of loli on FAKKU. Here is one uploaded 7 years ago:

And here is one uploaded last week:

And we were definitely lucky to get this deal started. Once we received the initial takedown notices I went to Japan and convinced them that it was a good idea to work together. I had to show them that there were fans outside of Japan that wanted and were willing to support the artists. I wasn't sure if I was going out there to get arrested or to negotiate, fortunately the later.

Now that we are a few months into all of this and have released almost 5 complete books it couldn't be going better. The books are selling and the fans are supporting us. The artists are getting paid, the publishers are getting paid, and we're growing larger so we can release even more.

Our success has allowed us to do some really cool things, we have an upcoming unannounced title where the artist went back and redrew the majority of the book. Updating it in a way that has never been seen before outside of his head and has never been available anywhere in the world.

I don't know how much Tenboro likes lolicon or hentai in general, but at least he did a fine as fuck job to provide us with loli and shota. Why couldn't you? Given that you love hentai so much.

I already know all of that. You just keep ignoring the main issue I have with all of this, or maybe you just don't get it.

Like I have already said, there is less content on FAKKU because we have curated uploads. That means a small group of users (mostly scanlators) upload the content that is on the website. The reason there is only a good amount of loli instead of an obscene amount is because those users generally only upload things that they themselves worked on. It is not an evil plan to keep you from fapping to loli. Two of the most prominent loli scanlators are biribiri and YQII, both of whom upload to the site and have blogs that we host:

http://biribiri.fakku.net/
http://yqii.fakku.net/

I have been a fan of both for a long time, and YQII is our lead translator on FAKKU Books. Lately I have also grown to love the work that 5 a.m. Translations has been doing, I recommend you check out his blog as well:

http://5amtranslations.wordpress.com/
>>
>>3855942
>Like I have already said, there is less content on FAKKU because we have curated uploads.
Which means less content for the users, who maybe will never get to see the rest of an artist's work and will remain unknown for them. Why don't you try to fix that? Again, your site's motto is "all about hentai", isn't it? You are too far from that.
Chaccu is also one of my favorite crazy hentai artists and there isn't a single work there. And it's a Saha's translation which as far as I know is an independent translator's blog, yet a lot of Saha's translations are on your site. Explain that to me.
You said you like Henreader too I think, why didn't you upload a Henreader work yourself? How will you open the market for him ("It's loli guise buy it!"??)
>Lately I have also grown to love the work that 5 a.m. Translations has been doing, I recommend you check out his blog as well:
I linked you to one of his translations already.
Personally, I think there is more feedback in the exhentai comments than the respective translators' blogs. That's why I rearely visit translators' blog anymore.

>Please don't take me for a retard.

Henreader is licensed by Wani and was part of the initial takedown they sent to everyone. That's why it's not on FAKKU. Fortunately we are planning to publish it under FAKKU Books, in English. And in paperback. Much like we will be publishing NTR2 by Namonashi, which is another loli work published by Wani.

The shipment arrived in Portland late Friday and if everything goes right we will start shipping out all the orders tomorrow. You should receive your tracking number soon. Though there are _a lot_ of orders so it will probably take the entire week and part of next for us to get them all out. The OP in this thread came by our office and picked his up in person and he was awesome to talk to while he stopped by (however brief it was). Here's a picture of the book next to the Japanese release of TiTiKEi (which we'll be releasing sometime in early 2015).

Anyway, I'm happy this thread has provided a place to share info and opinions so far, and I hope both posters and lurkers have learned something from it. Also, knowing that an artist is making the extra effort for an international release is awesome to hear, I'm eagerly awaiting the announcement.

Namonashi is also a part of Rubbish Selecting Squad so you might try looking at that. If I recall back when we had a dedicated scanlation team we released one of his Fate/stay night works. But like I said the majority of uploads on FAKKU are done by scanlators uploading their own work, I have never made any claims that we have the "most" content. If you honestly want to help fill in the gaps where we are missing past English releases send me an email and we can talk about getting you permission to upload.

>>3855964
It's been a good thread and a lot of constructive feedback has come out of it. I think you'll like our announcement once it comes (maybe before the end of December). And everyone at FAKKU thoroughly enjoyed your placement of Renai Sample next to the Holy Bible and Shakespeare (right where it belongs).

"all about hentai" doesn't mean fucking anything about content, quality or abundance - simply that the site is based around hentai. >>
>>3855831

First? No, because hentai scanlation has been around for a long time, longer than Fakku and Lucious, but it definitely caused an upswing in group growth from 2010 on when uploaders saw they had a platform they could edit and maintain themselves while also gaining an expanding audience. I get far more views there than I would on my blog, comments and feedback too.
>>
>>3856029
You're wrong. And you're ignoring the post I linked you from 2007 which stated my intentions with and goals for FAKKU. There is no better evidence than that. The event that showed me there was a market for FAKKU was my hunt for Only Asuka 2002 Side B, an Asuka doujin by Chimatsuriya Honpo. That hunt took me to all of the bad hentai websites of the day and gave me the idea for FAKKU and showed me the things I hated in other websites that I didn't want to do with FAKKU.

You can literally watch a video of me saying this in front of a huge group of people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN2pM2FhNIE#t=2m36s

Hate to break the news to you but you're wrong in every conceivable way. The only time a full tank is that cheap is if it's second hand or from a small publisher. I don't turn my trip off, and the uncensored content as part of the license was understood.
